The restaurant was a nice pce. The only real experience I have with a pce where people have meals is the adventures guild. I know that that is more of a bar, but I really have no experience with this.

  When the three of us enter the building, Tessa gives them her name and a person leads us to a table.

  With the three of us seated, we look over the menus, but I have no clue what to order.

  But as I struggle with it, Tessa and Amelia start talking about what looks good. I am fully able to read the menu, but have no clue what kind of food I would like.

  The menu has things like orc steak, or wyvern stew and other things like that.

  After a while, I noticed the others looking at me.

  “Hey, None, what looks good to you?” Amelia asked a few seconds ter.

  “Umm… I don’t know?” I said.

  “What kind of food do you normally like?” Tessa asked. “I’ve been here before, so I might be able to recommend something”

  “Um, I don’t know?” I say. “I don’t think I have ever eaten food before, or at least I don’t remember ever eating”

  “What? How do you not remember ever eating?” Amelia asked.

  “Well my memories only goes back three days, and I haven't eaten anything in those three days” I say.

  “Really?”

  “Yep, I just never felt the need to eat, so I never did” I told them.

  “That’s strange” Tessa said. “Is there anything else like that?”

  “I also don’t think I need to sleep, but I have been doing that” I tell them.

  “Can I ask, I know that you're an amnesiac, but what was the spices listed on your status?”

  “Um… Human… yeah definitely human” I stutter, remembering the strange corrupted text that was in the spices and name line. The reason I chose the name None as a joke.

  “Yeah, I totally believe that” Tessa said with a small ugh. “Whatever it is isn’t that important”

  “Um… I would prefer not saying what was in my status, but if you really want…” I say. I didn’t really have a problem with it, but I also knew that it could cause problems.

  “None… what's going on?” Amelia asked. “What could be in your status that's so bizarre?”

  “You told me before you had the swordsmen css, was that a lie?” Tessa asked.

  “NO, I do have that css, it's just not the only one. And the thing is that my status is just bizarre, like things I don’t understand in it” I tell them. I was getting really nervous about what was being talked about here. What if they didn’t want to talk to me if they learn about everything.

  “How about you just show us?” Amelia said.

  “Ok…” i said. “... how?” I asked, not sure how to do that.

  “Just think status like you do normally, and then think dispy” Tessa told me.

  ANd that is what I did. With two thoughts, the transparent screen like from god’s gaze appears in front of me.

  “...” the both of them just stared at the screen for a while before speaking up again.

  “I think I understand now” Tessa said. “But seriously, you have some insane stuff in here”

  “Yeah, several SSS rank csses, and what are those seals on them?” Amelia said.

  “I don’t know… but each of them has a way to be released. So far the one for swordsmen has just been killing monsters, but I checked a few others and they involve studying magic or cooking or killing specific types of monster” I tell them.

  “So… what are you pnning on doing with all of this?” Amelia asked.

  “I don’t know, but I have enjoyed being an adventurer the st few days. I think I am just going to continue doing that” I told them.

  “Thats great” Tessa said. “I mean, you already have a SSS rank combat css, and it seems you can get countless others. You could be one of the most successful adventurers of all time”

  “Or it seems anything else you like, I see cook, merchant, bcksmith, enchanter, and a bunch of other csses you could unlock that aren’t combat reted” Amelia brought up. “I’m kind of embarrassed that your rank is already higher than mine for the merchant css”

  “Yeah, and higher in swordsmen then mine” Tessa said.

  “... Um, I’m sorry?” I said, not really sure if I should be apologizing.

  “No need to be, it’s just really strange to look at the status of someone who should only be in fairy tales” Tessa brought up. “I knew actual heroes who maxed out at S rank”.

  “Well, I think we should get back to the food topic, and talk about this ter” Amelia said.

  In the end, the two of them ended up choosing food to order for me.

  As we had dinner, I learned a lot more about a lot of things from the two of them. I also learned that I really enjoyed food.

  This is what gave me the best pn for the next css I was going to work on.

  I was thinking of going for one of the magic csses, but food is a new found interest, and I am going to see what I can do.

  I do have a SSS Ranked Cook Css avaible, so I am going to be a very gifted cook eventually.

  I learned a decent amount about the different csses as well. For the most part, each css has a rge amount of skills you could learn, but with each css advancement, you only gain one skill slot, starting with 3 and ending with 8 at tier 1. But not every css goes that way.

  For specifics, there aren’t that many skills for a basic cook or chef.

  I also learned that having 2 csses isn’t unheard of, but it is usually a benefit of grand achievements. That is one thing that Tessa is working on currently.

  I also learned a lot more about the city and the adventures guild. Amelia told me about the library in town, which sounds nice. I could check out books from them, they even have cook books.

  Tessa told me a lot about the intricacies with the adventurers guild. Turns out that most people max out around C rank, so getting above that point means that you are a high ranking adventure.

  After the dinner, Tessa ended up walking both me and Amelia back to the inn where we were staying.

  By the end of the night, I started feeling really close to the both of them

  Amelia was in her room at the midnight inn, thinking about the dinner she just had with None and Tessa. Everyone had heard of Tessa, the high Elf swordswomen, and S rank adventure. She was a legend in the city, being its strongest adventure.

  Rumor also had it she was a part of the hero of the wilds party years ago, but no one knows if that is true.

  But the bigger part of the night was the time she spent with None. Since the shopping trip, she had formed a slight crush on him, still thinking he was a she. The realization didn’t change anything. Gender was barely an issue when it came to her interest. ANd above all, None was still cute to her.

  But the look at his status was eye opening.

  He clearly was something beyond her understanding, something that was probably beyond the understanding of anyone in the world.

  Maybe even beyond the hero of the holy empire.

  She had retionships with some of the more important people in the country, and had half a thought to see if they could help him out.

  But the other part of her was ok if he just stayed by her and the small sphere he has now.

  Not sure what he would want to do, she continues to think this over until she falls asleep.

  Tessa’s answers only gave her more questions. A status with text in no readable nguage. Skills above anything she could ever compare to.

  And a tier above what should be possible.

  She didn’t think that Amelia noticed it, but the ruler of Wisdom tier was 0, a step above anything in the world before.

  She read the skills in it and saw why she couldn’t detect him in any way, since he had the detection negation skill.

  BUt instead of feeling lost at the unimaginable gap that could exist between them, she felt closer.

  She has seen hesitation like he showed on others before, and the idea that he trusted her enough to overcome that made her happy.

  In truth, Tessa was a lonely person thanks to her upbringing. She had friends some time ago, but they had left her behind.

  But she though, even if it’s unlikely, she wanted to be his friend.

  She even thought that Amelia was fun to talk to during the meal. She had heard of the legendary merchant working for the Card Trading Company before, mainly thanks to adventurers who were ever eager to objectify her, but she seemed very smart and fun to be around.

  It was becoming clear to Tessa, that the loneliness she has been in for the st 50 years, could soon be coming to an end, thanks to one random conversation in the adventures guild.

  ?

  And elsewhere in the world, a princess was studying magic reting to magic.

  Specifically the magic of outer-worldly entities.

  She knew of the existence of otherworlds, but a part of that studdy had become one of her topics of study.

  Outside of Ordinal, the world she lived in, and the several realms that made up Ordinal, there existed an unknown number of other worlds.

  But theoretically, there existed a space those worlds exist within, a pce referred to as the void in ancient texts.

  This existence is echoed through a lot of different pces in Ordinal. Certain spirits speak of gazing into it for the fae queen. Some demons allegedly believe that the demon king's wish to explore the void.

  And some heroes of the past spoke of it as well.

  Some of these have had extraordinary magic power, some even ciming it reted to the void.

  So she decided to research it for fun.

  During her travels, she found an item that would detect this power, or at least it cimed that.

  She believes she confirmed this when she detected an anomaly about a year ago, the same day the holy empire cimed to have summoned a hero from another world, a person who theoretically traveled through the void.

  And then, three days ago, an even more massive anomaly was detected. One millions of times more intense than the hero summoning.

  And it never ended. Like a constant rift in the world had opened up.

  It completely broke her detector, but she was working on getting it working again.

  And tonight she had succeeded in something close.

  She had succeeded in creating a compass that points to void energy. It wasn’t perfect, but it seems to be trying to point to the south.

  “Well, let's see what's on the other side” the princess, Chloe von Analight, had a new adventure to go on.
