lex one day starts hearing a voice in his head telling him where to go and eventually he follows it to lead him to a big gate in a huge cave he opens that gate that turns out to be the gate of the world and the gate of the world is a legendary gate that has been lost to time it is a gate that connects earth to heave and hell so once he opens it demons flood out of the gate humanity hold out for a little but not forever eventually humanity gets wiped out and lex is the last human alive in the world so over come by despair he makes a deal with the voice in his head to go back one day after he open the gate to try to save humanity from his mistake
