As the floor unfolds, the looming shadow of sacrifice becomes increasingly evident. The path, the tower, demands sacrifice, inflicts agony, and ultimately redeems its due in ways unforeseen. PS: This would be my first story, so criticism is most welcome. While English isn''''t my first language, I would like to think that I have a pretty decent grasp on it, but again, for any hiccups- suggestions, or improvements are greeted with open arms.
