2.20 On the rocks and spiked.

Orx had always been proud, her perfect legs and colourful segments allowing for mobility most of the less intelligent beasts didn't t have. Her mother was smart, having found out that perks could be transmitted to your children without the perks being listed in them.

It was rather sad when she realised that not every one of her children inherited her superior brain.

Now, Orx was alone, her siblings died to protect her from that disgusting creature below.

Thus, when some insolent prey dared to challenge her in her own territory, she couldn't hold back her rage. A screech filled with intent, her skills coming to life like a cobras hood flare, and the silence that followed indicating her opponent didn't stand a chance against her mental domination. Thus, it was a great surprise to her when he was still standing, hitting her with a solid punch as she descended from the depths.

Goron had prepared to punch whatever came out of the hole in front of him.

He didn't go further in, obviously hoping for an adventage at the top of the slope, the almost tangiable darkness below, and the absolute terror it sparked in Goron, didn't have anything to do with this, or at least that's what he would tell anyone who dared to ask.

He had channeled all his skills into that punch, freezing the point of impact and partially petrifying it. This had been his greatest work so far, the infusion properties and his spells effects allowing for the petrifying punch.

He grinned as it began to work, though it was quite dissapointing to see the chitin become blue and then the grey of rock.

He had charged this spell for a few minutes, only to throw his opponent back for two meters and discoloured their armour.

Especially when said opponent retaliated with a quick dash forward, the barest scratch of the millipedes mandibles contaminating his veins as he failed to dodge the bus sized beast completely.

It was at this point that both knew they would die, the spreading curse in Orx body and the toxin slowly eating away at Goron only strengthening their resolve as Goron used the beasts movement to jump on its back, his fists still infused with the curse, 21 willpower focussed on sustaining the enchantment of his fists, as the side that was cut by his opponent slowly began feeling numb.

While he was on there, he managed to get in three punches before the stinger he didn't realize his opponent had was striking towards him, only his high Intuition allowing for a last second jump to escape what would have probably killed him immediately.

It was then that another screech came, like the previous ones, he needed to concentrate most of his willpower on fighting it, barely sustaining the enchantment as his movement was hindered for a second.

The Njord knew that this would be the most annoying trick his enemy could pull after they both made sure to exchange their promises of certain death.

In a fight like this, every second counted, and when he regained full control of his body, his opponents mandibles chipped a part of his skin, the weapons just barely too week to completely pass his hull.

He grabbed the blade like mouth pieces, trying to crack them, which didn't work as intended.

He felt the venom sink into his hands, but the appendages petrified at the same time, the move putting them on equal footing as the fight devolved into a wrestle.

When Goron finally jumped back from the attack, his hands had lost most of their feeling and his opponents mandibles fell of as he clashed them against eachother. Now, with both of them crippled, the fight became much harder. Goron did his best to charge his opponent, the occasional contact severely injuring both of them.

When Orx ran him over, towering above and his deadly stinger ready to strike, Gorons determined smile grew. "Pu-ri-fi-ca-tion!"

He screamed, twenty of his willpower suddenly allocated to control temperature. For a second, he burned, his body steaming and his flesh smoleding as he flash cooked his intestines.

It hurt like hell, the venom cooked and destroyed within the second, but the drawback being his entire body being similar to his favourite villain, only lacking the fancy black armour and a mentor screaming at him that he was his brother.

He knew he wasn't right in the head. How could he, after all he had been through so far? But he did not reject the madness. In this instance, he embraced it.

He coated a single finger with the curse, petrifying it completely as he grinned.

Orx was confused. She could not grasp this opponents mind. Memories of death, but no fear of it. A life spend in darkness, and yet he despised it.

And most of all, wherever his fists landed, she would immediately loose all feeling in the area. And now as he layed there, his hands balled into fists with the center digit extending.

She somehow knew stat this gesture was rude, deep inside she felt that this was a personal attack against her. And as her stinger came down to take out the opponent, it shot the digit at her, no, through her rear section, before it got stuck in her intestine.

Immediately, she brought the stinger down on his legs, pinning him in place so she could savour his feer.

"It is over." She projected in his mind, only for his smile to broaden bejond anything his face seemed to have been created for.

  "Yeah, it absolutely is."

Then, she noticed that the stinger didn't react to her drawing her body back, and he crawled away from his pierced legs, leaving them petrified like the stinger they were connected to.

It took a moment for her to realize what happened, as she hadn't had any feeling in her lower body for a few seconds before that haplened, curious what the numbing meant.

She knew the man would cough his last breath soon, but that did not save her as the curse turned her heart and brain to stone, falling from the top of the cave and burrying Gorons petrified body beneath it.
