  Well... It is time for more memory infusion! I continued to read '我真没想当救世主啊' / 'I really don't want to be a savior.'. I am currently on chapter 117. I have to say. I am loving this MC!

  The reason he wasn't able to use the stock market or lottery to cheat was due to the records being limited.

  When I say limited. I mean everything in the future world required a proper authority. The MC can see the traces of his actions having massive consequences for the future.

  But the future has changed so much compared to when he first got his ability. His actions have caused the death of 4 billion people. Of course, the MC knows that EVERYONE will get wiped out in the future.

  But the future world before he messed with it was almost a utopia. Just being born, even at the lowest level of 'low income households'. You were given proper nutrition and entertainment options unimaginable to us today.

  The MC considered this life in the future 'heaven'. He thought it was a dream.

  But now... where I am at in the story.

  Instead of a welfare system that provides for everyone.

  Things have become far more 'cruel'.

  The first change is that a revolution hundreds of years ago made most information available to everyone. So you don't require high authorization to look at history for example.

  That was one of the main reasons the MC had to resort to stealing songs in the past as it was the only thing he really had access to. Besides movies, games, etc.

  Basically. If the current future timeline was the way it is now. Our MC would've been screwed! He would've been in the slums. While you won't starve. There is no free entertainment. You have to work for that.

  But something interesting about the MC's ability to travel to the future is...

  His body seems to somehow bring back his state to the present.

  When the MC didn't exercise and wasted a year in vain. When he died and returned to the present. His body was weaker and it matched the state before his death.

  So the MC started exercising and thanks to the resources in the future. He becomes superhuman.

  There was one thing I wondered however.

  If he returns his physical body back to the past... wouldn't he just be dead? Why is it that he is in his peak state seemingly before death?

  We also learned a lot of secrets regarding how his ability works... well, not really.

  His future body looks exactly like him and has the same name. In one timeline, he had no parents and was a product of a 'synth' human.

  In the current timeline. He has parents.

  So it seems... that despite his massive influence on history. He will ALWAYS get born and survive to the point where he takes over his future body.

  This wasn't a problem at first. As he wasn't famous and left no traces in history initially. But now, things are different. People have records of his appearance.

  Some people have made comparisons with him and the legend of the past.

  In the present world. He is a 'music genius'. In the future world. He is a combat genius.

  I am curious. What happens if he dies in the present? I know. It is probably a dead end. But what if it wasn't? There wasn't really any action in the first 60 chapters.

  But it was still a fun read. But after like chapter 70. This book starts to take off!

  The MC has broken the laws in the future by being a deserter...

  It makes sense for him to take risk when he knows he can 'redo' every month. But he has also taken risk in the present world where consequences are permanent.

  His actions alone have caused half of humanity to die before the enemies even did anything. But the development this led to history being more exploitable by his ability.

  The MC is quite mediocre at the start of the story. But it is fun watching him become a genius. He realizes his limits, but it turns out once his fitness reaches a certain standard.

  He is actually a real combat genius.

  There is a special 'serum' that last for 3 hours and then causes you to crash. This serum makes it so you can handle high amounts of force.

  Basically. When injected. You could walk off getting hit by a truck. It is used so the body isn't torn apart from the mecha suits used in the military.

  In one timeline. The MC uses this serum right before dying. When he wakes up in the present. His body is still under the effects of it.

  But that isn't all...

  The effect never ends!

  So where I am reading now. There is a genetic potion that can optimize your genes and make you go through a genetic awakening.

  Everyone is given this at birth.

  About 1 in 3 people survive.

  If you are given a second dosage.

  100% die.

  Our MC thinks back to the benefits of the blood serum (which is now ancient after the advancements of humanity in the current future timeline).

  Our MC... he wonders what would happen if he takes a second dosage! He doesn't fear death and if the benefits 'stack'. It would be quite amazing!

  His body is very weird.

  The researchers noticed this as well. Before he 'woke up' from his ability triggering. His physique was just slightly above average. But after...

  He is superhuman.

  This makes me excited to see what will happen in the future. I'm looking forward to his evolution! I definitely recommend this book! It is a bit slow paced at the start. But it is very stable and enjoyable.
