More memory infusion! Today was quite an awesome day! I was off work and noticed something rather interesting. If you have been following these stages. You know that I get most of the novels I read from 'qidian'. A chinese site.
Now. It seems they added a new feature to the site recently that I just noticed. Basically, before. You used to only be able to see the first five pages of a tag.
This was like 100 novels.
Now...
This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author's work.
They have increased this limit to 50 pages!
This is HUGE!
So instead of only seeing the top 100 results for the tag you are looking for. You now can easily browse through a thousand of them!
I spent like a solid hour today just looking through each novel that I would've never been able to in the past. This is a small change that makes a huge difference.
Today I found a interesting novel called '我真没想当救世主啊' / 'I really don't want to be a savior.'. I found this by browsing the 'time travel' tag. This one I believe was beyond the first five pages. So I normally would've missed it.
But now. We can see far more novels!
I'll explain what this one is about. It is a about a normal guy that has a very specific ability. He lives in a purely normal world with no supernatural power.
But on the 26th of every month. When he goes to sleep.
He appears a thousand years in the future at a very specific point in time. He then lives life in that future until he dies. He then wakes up and only a day has passed in reality.
The next time it is the 26th. He will return to a thousand years in the future. But it will still be that specific point in time. So it is like groundhog day in that aspect. But he can see the changes he makes in the past and the effects it has on the future.
I just binged the first 55 chapters and it is quite different then what I expected so far. There is no him abusing future knowledge to win the lottery or bringing advanced technology back to the past... yet!
The beginning plot seems to be him stealing popular songs and trying to sell them in the present. But this doesn't work out for him at all. It turns out, that is harder to do then you would expect.
Anyways...
I think the story hasn't really started yet. But it has been an enjoyable read and I feel it has a lot of potential.
