  I suddenly felt a lot less tired looking at those words. I wasn't entirely sure what an affinity was going to do for me but I hadn't seen the system call anytime urgent before now so it must be something important. First things first though, I should probably figure out what an affinity actually does for me.

  Opening up my status again, I focus on the affinity section, willing information about it to come up.

  Okay so one thing that was made abundantly clear was that this was going to be a decision which would shape the direction that my life would take. One thing that I did find interesting though is the lack of information on sub-affinities like the space and time sub-affinities that I supposedly had, maybe it was just waiting for me to select an affinity first?

  Anyway, I figured that I should probably take a look at the different affinities that I get to choose. Focusing on the urgent notification I have another system screen pop up.

  Mentally selecting yes, a huge list of choices start to appear. Before I even get the chance to look at my choices I receive a flood of notifications.

  That was a lot of information to take in. It seems like sub-affinities weren't supposed to be something that you easily had access to, especially based off the Affinity Master achievement. Mind you, I'm not going to complain that my Conceptual Soul removed all 59213 weak affinities, that would have been a real pain to sort through. Looking at the options I've been given for my primary affinity, it wasn't exactly a difficult decision for me to make. It seems that all the time spent in the darkness really helped my shadow affinity. With that in mind, I selected Darkness as my primary affinity.

  Now that I've gotten that all out of the way, it's time for me to have a well-deserved nap. With that, my eyes slowly closed, and I drifted off into restful dreams.
