Volume 7. Chapter 72: Faith’s Despair. (Chapter 673.)

  Chapter 72: Faith's Despair.

  Faith: “…”

Faith, upon realizing that she wasn’t even slightly close to Celia… panicked. Though not near her, the woman could still feel that… Celia was dying.

  Woosh!

Channeling all her magic, Faith did her best to locate her dying wife. Unfortunately, the Utterly True Highest Goddess (what a mouthful of a race…), couldn’t find her woman at all.

  Faith: “Maralia!” She shouted.

Maralia: “…I can’t find her, either.” She spoke, appearing out of thin air.

Faith: “Celia is… dying! Maralia, we can’t let this happen, as even her soul will be destroyed!” She excimed, worry clear in her tone and expression.

Faith shook Maralia’s shoulders, but the woman didn’t get upset. Unbeknownst to Maralia, Celia was sent to a different dimension, one, while controlled by the Game, had no other pyers in it.

She didn’t cim to know of Celia’s location, as, that dimension being where she was… Maralia wasn’t certain. All that Maralia knew, is that… she couldn’t enter that dimension. She expined as such to Faith.

Faith: “Fuck… The fme of her soul is dimming as we speak…” She voiced with a sad tone, kicking the ground.

  Thud, Thud, Thud!

As she did this, craters were being formed beneath Faith. Despite not joining the Game, Faith was now a pyer, and couldn’t get away with her btant rule breaking like before.

While Faith fumed, Maralia thought heavily. “She couldn’t have lost so many years this fast. Something is trying to kill Celia…” She thought, now angrier than ever before.

The Game, aware of its long-awaited death, wouldn’t have done this. And, in truth, Maralia was not able to think of anyone else who had the power to hurt Celia, and who would want to do so.

Maralia: “Faith, do you trust me?” She asked with a serious tone.

Faith: “Trust? Not fully, no.” She denied.

Maralia: “Then, please forgive me.” She replied with a sigh.

  Pomf!

Before Faith could react, Maralia had pushed her into a door, which opened to reveal a blinding, white light. Despite being stronger than Maralia, Faith wasn’t able to resist this action.

  Faith: “…”

Inside the odd door, Faith felt as if her body was being torn apart. As she was pushed, Faith saw a remorseful expression on Maralia’s face, but she still didn’t understand this action of hers.

  An Hour Later.

Faith: “…Ew.” She said with a disgusted tone, looking at the blood on the ground, and on her attire.

Checking her Status, Faith was happy to see that she was perfectly fine. The feeling of her bones being crushed… seemed to go on for years.

But, Faith knew that it was merely of an hour of torment. Standing up, using cleaning magic to deal with the blood she spat up, Faith started to pn her revenge.

Faith: “Dammit… I knew that woman was dangerous. Is she hiding her true strength?” She angrily expressed, kicking up dirt as she did so.

Though, while doing this… Faith noticed a very, very important detail of her current surroundings…
