When The Sun Takes The Moons Place

Morning again, with the alarm ringing at six

One tap later and I'm wide awake

A few drops of water and bites on whatever food she makes

Shinning before the sun the moon's place it takes

Leaving yesterday's worries behind walking out that door

Passing the time accompanied by my shadow

Wonder how today came without me ever getting to know

And from when the day starts until the night

Pairing myself with the ocean and the breeze

Every step echoes how time along with the leaves flies

Every decision ground that builds our path

Confusion when the way behind is gone when we look in the past

The present of today might be long gone once we look at yesterday

How much room in our heart to treasure it do we make?

A quick breath while strolling along the world's every piece

Moments scattered everywhere for us to look averting our eyes

Making the most of every ounce of our given life

Creating pleasures out of tears, living without being afraid to die

Finding the truth under every told lie

Every dawn a world we wake up with something new to find

The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

The clock ticks and the bell rings again

A small break that starts wishing it never ends

Repetition until they both fall silent before departing

Their end speaking of something new starting

So many things being told back and forth

My mind can't hold onto any more

Letting go of the words and worries relaxes the soul

Our fates intertwining with our fantasies told

Rest down our phones and books with each other we get lost

Hours pass as their memory we forget to hold

Every word a blueprint towards a bright future

Actions speaking louder in the present we nurture

We won't be living like the dead when time eventually passes

Our dread will keep burning until turning to ashes

Fate holding us by our hands won't mean what's foretold

No names or faces tell if you will be something less on more

The puzzle doesn't complete itself less you pull it together

Two or many hands moving the pieces less its stationary forever

You answer to life you need not hurry to deliver

A cage in every minute only your mind makes a given

Break whatever's left holding you back

Nothing lasts forever but it ain't a passing fad

Your body be made stronger as you lift that burden

Rise above it to see your fantasies and dreams life to be given

Like wounds every sadness eventually heals

Scars left behind are only stories and realized ideals

Nothing's spilled over nothing, and every awakening another life lived

Everything happens for a reason until the end comes eventually

Before and after the only thing left is you remaining free

Cherish every moment as the seasons pass us by

And with every scent, sun, wind and snow come back to life

Even if late like a lovers first embrace and kiss

When time strikes thirst the water makes it more sweet

Hold that joy that comes from realizing every imperfection

The teary eyes that worries let go being your soul's reflection

Let the light be consumed by eventual darkness

Night still holds secrets to worth see what happens

Need not stress of when this too will end and it'll lift the curtain

One thing in life always remains for you certain

From all that was left behind for you to soak and enjoy again and again

You too will leave something more for what comes after life to engrain
