Little Care Over Himself

As I came closer it was then that I realized

  This one's not evil

Just lazy enough to even be terrorized

It's clear he bares no real ill will

But the more you watch it's clear

He does wrong bittings and stores up guilt

He's a wonder unlike anything I've ever seen

Like a child in ignorance, he lives carefree

I wonder what took you down that route

Was it yourself or did someone at you shout?

How is it that when you have no real ill intention

You can't pay your own actions some attention

You wear those metals and hear whatever they have to say

In one ear and out the other so that you can continue to play

Do you not realize how many are lying and left forgotten?

How papers you sign can lead to families destroyed and bodies rotten?

If I could just get close enough to have a word

Maybe I could understand him some more

To tell him that what he's doing is wrong

How he'd look back at his actions wishing them to be gone

Some people amongst the crowd his car rides

Look at him with pure terror

Others giving looks that wish he dies

Impervious to both he simply smiles back

  The first getting confused

The ladder knives wanting his throat to hack

And then as I try to run back into the dark alleyways

The worst happens and I fall into his presence before he ends his day

I wonder what took you down that route

Was it yourself or did someone at you shout?

How is it that when you have no real ill intention

You can't pay your own actions some attention

You wear those metals and hear whatever they have to say

In one ear and out the other so that you can continue to play

Do you not realize how many are lying and left forgotten?

How papers you sign can lead to families destroyed and bodies rotten?

If I could just get close enough to have a word

Maybe I could understand him some more

To tell him that what he's doing is wrong

How he'd look back at his actions wishing them to be gone

His own followers advising him to keep it down

  As he shakes them off

Seeing their words as something profound

One glance at me and he takes a second look

Realizing that I'm not from around here

He blindly gifts me money as my hand he shook

"Es ist OK! Ich sehe, dass du nicht von hier bist! Willkommen in Deutchland!"

I feel warmth in his weird words

Somehow now I only want to know more
