Follower Of The Four-Headed Serpent

Deep inside the city hatred is all that I see

Smiles don't exist in the faces around me

  Fear lingers among everyone passing

Their mouths only certain words releasing

The four-headed serpent coiled in its white circle in a sea of blood

It controls them if they wish their loved ones not to be torn apart

Among them all a face spreading glee

Unlike the others dressed in black but without letting death be

Followed by others he almost lazily drags his feet along the ground

Aloof and careless he cares not for what happens around

It's a mystery that makes me wonder

Does he simply not see his world being in a blunder?

He comes and goes with more bags filled with his easy pleasures

In a self-moving chariot, he loads them all not even attempting to measure

Our eyes connect as they did with many others

With the same look in each one, he hardly bothers

His chest and arms speak of many achievements

Medals coated everywhere but they feel underserved in their obtainments

Just who might this frivolous fool be?

In trying time laughing when he doesn't lead

But deep inside I can feel it in my being's fivers

He's dangerous no matter what to show he bothers

In truth he lies misguided like I once did

Curiosity irks me to know what he would really believe

Amidst misery to be so outgoing and live with laughter

This one fell short in mind, trading one evil for the other
