Penalty: You get beaten up like a side character.

Ryo frowned. "Wait. Who am I even supposed to fight?"

"...Huh?"
Ryo slowly turned—
And immediately regretted everything.

A Dark Alley (Because Of Course)
A group of three thugs stood behind him.
Baggy clothes. Gold chains. Smug grins.
Oh, great. Discount gangsters.
The biggest one, a bald dude with tattoos, stepped forward. "Yo, kid. We saw you walkin’ outta that store with cash. Hand it over."
Ryo stared at them.
"…Are you serious?"
Tattoo Guy cracked his knuckles. "Do we look like we’re joking?"
Ryo crossed his arms. "Honestly? You kinda do. You look like background characters in an anime."
The thugs twitched.
"Alright, smartass. You asked for it!"
Tattoo Guy swung his fist straight at Ryo’s face—
And Ryo’s body moved on its own.
Dodge.
He sidestepped effortlessly, watching the fist whiff past his nose.
The system had boosted his reflexes.
Tattoo Guy stumbled forward. "The hell—?!"
Ryo grinned. "Oh. This is gonna be fun."

Fight Start!
One of the other thugs lunged at Ryo—BIG mistake.
BOOM!
Ryo’s fist smmed into the guy’s stomach, sending him crashing to the ground.
1 down.
The second thug panicked and swung a metal pipe.
Ryo ducked.
Then—counterattack.
BAM!
He uppercut the guy’s jaw, knocking him out cold.
2 down.
Tattoo Guy’s eyes widened. "W-What the hell are you?!"
Ryo cracked his knuckles. "Just a guy with a system."
Tattoo Guy turned to run.
Ryo grabbed a nearby trash can lid and threw it like a frisbee.
BONK!
The lid smmed into the guy’s back, sending him face-first onto the pavement.
3 down.
Fight Over.
Ryo dusted off his hands. "That was easier than I thought."

Ryo flopped onto his bed, staring at the ceiling.
In just a few days, he went from a broke high schooler to:
A guy with a system.
Someone who met a beautiful girl.
A guy who just kicked three thugs’ asses.
And this was only the beginning.
"System, what’s next?"
