Nyra couldn’t believe that she had found herself stuck in the middle of one of Captain Valorion’s petty behavior against Ming and Ning. She detested this so much feeling it was a waste of her powers and energy dealing with social matters.
“You should tell is if Hank is telling us the truth” said Ming.
Nyra closed her eyes doing her best trying to stay honest towards Ming and Ning.
“No he’s not” replied Nyra.
“Excuse me, did I hear that you were telling us Hank wasn’t being honest with everyone here at the table?” asked Captain Valorion.
The captain was insulted by Nyra’s behavior, he could clearly see she was trying to save Ming and Ning from utter embarrassment by promoting a fake project that Hank was never working on in the first place. She hated dishonesty the most. The captain once again pulled Nyra aside.
“WE have talked about this before” said Captain Valorion.
“I’m not going to lie to anyone when they ask me one of these mental questions” continued Nyra, “I state the truth and that’s all.”
The captain knew he couldn’t meddle with Nyra for much longer, he knew he would have to shield Hank from the fallout. Hank was confused on what was happening, unaware he was being used as a pawn by the captain himself.

“Why is Nyra protesting you?” asked Hank.
“She thinks you’re lying” continued Captain Valorion.
Hank immediately felt disgusted and decided to pack his belongings to leave the dinner.
“I’m sorry captain, I have other matters to attend to” said Hank, “maybe after one of your missions, we’ll play some sports together. But for now, I bid you farewell.”
The captain gasped in horror – his dearest friend Hank was going to leave him! Leave the dinner table! He was insulted that Nyra was telling the truth for once, and the truth was biting Hank in the butt. Themba and Brun did their best trying to stay out of the conflict, they had enough on their plate.
“Hank, wait, wait!” cried Captain Valorion.
Hank could see that the captain wanted to make things up.
“Now isn’t the time” said Hank as he began to leave, heading down to the main level through the elevator.
Hank smiled at the captain.
“Look, I had a nice dinner with you and your team, but you can’t let me tell lies” continued Hank.
Captain Valorion shook his head in disbelief as if he were the villain instead of the hero for a change. It was an ironic twist that a cosmic being for order would dare behave like this.
“Until next time” sighed Hank.
Hank left using the elevator heading down to the main floor, then leaving the tower altogether. Shui and Cong were shocked on what happened in front of their very eyes.
“Ming, we should go” said Cong.
“Yes, good idea” added Shui.
The husbands agreed that it was time for them to leave, they didn’t want to draw the wrong attention. But Captain Valorion who craved to being part of order and the center didn’t like this one bit. He tried his best trying to get the two technocratic families to stay but even Ming and Ning could get the feeling they knew they had to leave.
