Before the concept of "up" or "down" existed, before the first spark of Qi ignited the void, there was only the Almighty One. To call the Almighty One a god is a profound insult; gods are born of faith and laws, but the Almighty One is the architect of faith and the author of the laws themselves.
Three billion years ago, out of a whim of pure creation, the Almighty One breathed existence into the Divine Realm. It was not a creation made from external materials, for nothing existed outside of the Almighty One. Instead, the Creator shattered a fragment of their own essence to form the foundations of space, time, and the Dao.
When the Divine Realm was complete, the Almighty One did not depart. Instead, they merged with the creation. This is the ultimate truth that every high-level cultivator eventually discovers: every atom of dirt, every drop of spiritual water, and every breath of Qi is a literal part of the Almighty One. They are everywhere—watching, sustaining, and existing as the very fabric of reality.
To maintain order within this vast expanse, the Almighty One established the Guardian System. Every one billion years, a single candidate is permitted to transcend the limits of mortality and the peak of common cultivation. While the rest of the world views the Eternal Immortal Realm as the absolute ceiling of power, there exists a hidden, higher plane: the Primordial Immortal Realm.
Only one Primordial Immortal is allowed to exist in the Divine Realm at any given time. This individual serves as the Guardian, the representative of the Almighty One’s will. They are the balance-keepers. When their one-billion-year tenure concludes, the Almighty One grants them the greatest gift: True Freedom.
Upon retirement, the Guardian is uncoupled from the laws of the Divine Realm. They are permitted to leave the dimension entirely, to travel through the infinite multiverse, or to create their own worlds from scratch. They become peers to the stars. To prepare for this transition, the Almighty One selects a few Candidates toward the end of each era. These candidates are born with "Heaven-Defying" destinies, meant to compete, grow, and eventually prove which of them is worthy to hold the mantle of the next Guardian.
Geography of the Divine Realm: The Three Continents
The Divine Realm is divided into three colossal landmasses, each floating upon the Primordial Sea. They represent the three different philosophies of existence allowed by the Creator.
- Continent I: Heavenridge (The Land of Orthodoxy)
Heavenridge is the heart of the Divine Realm. It is a continent of soaring jade peaks, ancient forests, and strict hierarchies. Here, cultivation is a sacred ritual. The people of Heavenridge value bloodline, tradition, and the "Will of Heaven." It is the most balanced continent, holding the highest concentration of high-grade spiritual veins.
- Culture: Conservative, respectful of elders, and deeply focused on pure Daoist comprehension.
- Nature: Majestic, serene, and orderly.
- Continent II: Starfall (The Land of Innovation)
Starfall is a place where the old ways are questioned. It is a continent of vibrant cities, floating islands, and bustling trade ports. Here, wealth is considered a form of power just as valid as Qi. Cultivators here blend the Dao with mechanical engineering, formation-based technology, and complex artifacts.
- Culture: Liberal, meritocratic, and capitalistic.
- Nature: Ever-changing, celestial, and rich in rare ores.
- Continent III: Abyssal (The Land of Survival)
The Abyssal Continent is a harsh, brutal landscape of jagged obsidian mountains and blood-red moons. It is not "evil," but it is "cruel." The environment is so hostile that only the strongest survive the first decade of life. Cultivation here is fast, violent, and focused on combat efficiency.
- Culture: Individualistic, brutal, and pragmatic.
- Nature: Chaotic, dark, and filled with dangerous spirit beasts.

The Truth of Cultivation
In the eyes of the Almighty One, cultivation is not about "ranking up" or "becoming stronger" in a linear sense. It is the process of a fragment (the soul) trying to understand the whole (the Almighty One).
Techniques are graded from Mortal to Forbidden, and Weapons are ranked from Ordinary to Primordial, but these are mere human labels. In the end, a single blade of grass wielded by one who understands the Dao is more dangerous than a Primordial Artifact in the hands of a fool.
The Divine Realm is a stage. The Empires are the actors. The Sects are the props. And somewhere, hidden among the billions of souls, the Candidates for the next era are waking up. Some will fight with fire and steel, some will plot with poison and gold, and one... one might just try to sleep through the entire performance, unaware that the Almighty One is watching him with a very curious smile.
