August Langley finds himself on the world of Aurora with the newfound ability to live his life like a game. August isn''''t the only stranger to Aurora, however, and he quickly notices something unsettling about the others; though they aren''''t game characters like him, every new arrival is a powerful Warrior in their own right, hailing from worlds where battles are fought by individuals closer to Gods than men. Each bears a divine mandate to vanquish the Spite wherever they appear--dark and mysterious creatures of unknown origin that''''ve recently thrown Aurora into chaos. August receives a strong hint he''''s supposed to help with that whole thing, but as a level one character he''''s practically worthless in a fight--which probably wouldn''''t be a big deal... if he wasn''''t certain Aurora was doomed without him.
