After lunch, they went to the field because Phoebe said she wanted to watch the students play Axetherise. Nautika was both amazed and scared as she watched. How could they throw fireballs? Weren't they afraid the fire would burn them?

  "I'm scared, what if the fire burns them?" Nautika said, shuddering.

  "Don't worry, it won't happen. They've used black magic that makes them immune to fire," Rainer said. "To be honest, I'm quite interested in joining the Axetherise team in my wing," she said.

  "Wow, if you were to join, what position would you like?" Phoebe asked.

  "I want the magician position, but many people wants that magician position," Rainer replied.

  Nautika, Rainer, and Phoebe walked to the dormitory building behind the main building. The dormitory was divided into seven buildings. Six buildings were for the students of different wings, and one was for the professors and administrators of Ethergeist.

  Rainer suddenly stopped and opened her bag to pull out a book. "Look, I went to the library earlier and found this book. It's written by a student of Wing the Cosmic, it's hundreds of years old!" she said.

  Nautika and Phoebe looked at the book with curious eyes. Titled "Student from the Cosmic wing" it was actually the diary of a student named Isydore Lisneas, a descendant of Loreineta. After her death, her granddaughter, Myliena, gave the book to one of the Ethergeist professors, who, when Myliena was a student at Ethergeist, turned it into a book. Isydore was a student from the last class at Wing the Cosmic before it closed.

  "Do you want to read it together?" Rainer offered.

  Phoebe nodded. "Yes, I do!"

  "I'll go to your dorm this afternoon, but now I have to hurry back to my dorm," Rainer said. She walked away, waving goodbye to Nautika and Phoebe.

  Nautika was in her dorm room with Phoebe, and Rainer was there too. Rainer came to the Magical Animals Student dormitory carrying a book to keep his promise. They opened the first chapter of the book, which contained nothing but ordinary notes. Isydore was overjoyed when a seltzer approached her and told her she had been chosen to be a student at Ethergeist! It was now 2235, and this book was written 300 years ago.

  A seltzer approached me with a roll of paper. The seltzer's name was Sunny. She came to me and told me I was the one she had chosen to come to Ethergeist. I was so happy, I was already wondering which wing would choose me!

  I've been preparing everything for the past two weeks. Sunny said she'll pick me up in two days, on the 32nd. So I can rest at the Ethergeist dormitory on the 33rd before wing sorting. I'm so excited!

  On the last day of 1925, I was in the Ethergeist dormitory, a dormitory for children who had just arrived at Ethergeist and hadn't been sorted into any wings. I met many people, all of whom were kind to me, especially when they learned that my ancestors were descendants of the Loreineta!

  Today is wing sorting, and I'm in the Cosmic Wing! I'm so excited because this wing is the most powerful and famous! I can't wait to learn about the Cosmic Wing and the incredible powers I'll learn in the classes!

  They read a few pages of the book, which contained writing and scribbles. It looked like a regular diary, nothing special, but halfway through, something seemed strange. Isydore wrote that she was scared and wanted to leave the dorm because she heard terrifying noises. Not only her, but all the students in the cosmic wing heard it too.

  I hate the night. Every night, the entire dormitory hears terrifying noises that appear and disappear suddenly. I don't know why. We've complained to the professors, but when they come to the dormitory, the noises disappear immediately! It makes the professors think we're lying and playing a prank on them. But really, we're not lying!

  I saw a black shadow while looking in the mirror in my dormitory. I threw the mirror to the floor, shattering it in shock. It was the first time I'd ever seen such a frightening shadow.

  "Are these the same creatures and sounds as the day we were sorted into wings?" Phoebe asked.

  Nautika remembered sorting day, when she was about to be sorted, but the cosmic door suddenly lit up and a creature appeared. She shuddered in horror as she remembered what the creature looked like and its terrifying voice. "Ugh. That's scary."

  "It could be the same creature. But how could it reappear? Was it really locked up there? If so, then we need to be careful because that scary creature is still in Ethergeist," Rainer said.
