  This was Ye Lan's moment to act.

  Was she inside the car? Of course not. Infiltrating a car with authorized access to the UN was virtually impossible. But that didn’t mean she couldn’t hitch a ride.

  When the car finally parked and the driver exited, a figure covered in dust and grime emerged from underneath the vehicle.

  "Ugh! So dirty! I definitely need a bath after this! No, I need one right now!" Ye Lan grumbled, shaking herself off vigorously, disgusted by the filth, as her passive skill, [Jiep Zheng], quietly activated.

  Ye Lan used her [Water Cannon] ability on herself three times. While the skill was powerful enough to break through metal doors, she was currently using it for a far more mundane purpose, cleaning off the dirt that had clung to her body. In just seconds, she was spotless, but her clothes were now thoroughly soaked.

  With a grin, Ye Lan began to explore the UN facilities. This time, she moved with more caution, carefully concealing her presence and keeping out of sight. Most people seemed preoccupied, which made it easier for her to navigate unnoticed.

  "This is so strange. Something’s definitely going on. Everyone’s heading in that direction... They must be hiding something!" Ye Lan thought as she crept toward a door marked 'Restricted Access'. Just as she reached it, a group of people exited the room.

  Taking advantage of her agility and small frame, Ye Lan slipped inside before the door closed.

  What she found inside took her by surprise. Instead of a standard office or meeting room, it opened into a massive, sprawling hallway that seemed to stretch on forever.

  She hesitated for a moment, then took a cautious step forward. But suddenly, a sharp chill coursed through her body. Ye Lan winced, instinctively raising her hand to clutch her head.

  "This headache...! [Sixth Sense] again. It's a useful ability, but it always leaves me drained... What's going on this time?" Ye Lan murmured as she looked ahead, still somewhat dazed.

  Her gaze sharpened, and with the unique eyes of her race, blessed with extraordinary dynamic perception, caught faint red lines crisscrossing her path.

  "What the...? Infrared rays? And so many of them!" Ye Lan blinked in disbelief, scanning the intricate web of beams. The sheer number made her wonder what could be hidden at the end of this hallway to warrant such an extreme security measure. There must be at least a thousand...

  "This is getting more interesting! The more they try to hide something, the more curious I get. Infrared rays? Humans, have you ever heard of the Beastkin's innate ability, [Blood Armor]?"

  [Blood Armor], one of the ten supreme innate abilities of the Beastkin race, granted an extraordinary, temporary boost to physical capabilities. It even allowed the user to bend or outright ignore certain physical ws.

  Infrared ray sensors worked by projecting a beam that, if interrupted, reflected back to a receiver. This signal would then activate a programmed response, such as triggering an arm.

  It's very simple!

  So, you just have to do the opposite, use [Blood Armor] to manipute the physical ws of one's own body, and avoid triggering the sensors

  Before her stood another obstacle, a high-tech door requiring either an access card or fingerprint identification. However, under the influence of [Blood Armor], physical limitations no longer applied to her.

  She pced a single finger on the scanner. The device emitted a soft 'click' and the door unlocked. As it slid open, a high-tech room revealed itself.

  Ye Lan’s mouth fell open in amazement. The technology in the room was unlike anything she had ever seen, sleek, futuristic, and far beyond conventional understanding. While she couldn't discern the purpose of the devices, their sheer level of sophistication was undeniable. The moment she stepped inside, only one thought echoed in her mind, 'bck technology'.

  At the center of the room was a rge, transparent tank filled with a strange liquid. Intrigued, Ye Lan slowly approached, and as she examined it more closely, she noticed a human figure inside the tank.

  Inside the tank was a young woman with bck hair. Her eyes were open, yet they were eerily vacant, devoid of life or emotion.

  Even though the liquid distorted the image slightly, Ye Lan could clearly discern that the woman possessed an almost perfect beauty, worthy of a score of 95 out of 100.

  "What is going on here...?"

  Slowly, Ye Lan extended her hand to touch the tank. Suddenly, the surrounding high-tech devices began emitting arming sounds and entered a state of chaotic activity.
