As per the formal decration from the Hinon Federation, they started to treat the Snatcher as a terrorist group and had to track their movement across the continent.
This decration was broadcast through the radio, television as well as newspaper. The Strategic Intelligence Division had traced the Snatcher’s movement in the entire territory of the Hinon Federation.
While all of this had been happening, Charlene was sitting in the chair inside the office where she and her group were usually gathered.
She was doing some calcutions that were reted to the development of the weapon based on the theory she had discovered.
This was her way of helping humanity to unite once more. Charlene knew that the weapon would likely be used someday but she steeled herself to believe that this was better than the long battle that caused division among the human race.
The longer they were divided, the more friction would appear among them. Fortunately, many humans believed that unification was important and all they needed was proof of sovereignty.
And that proof was the weapon that could destroy the world itself. That would be more than enough proof for the human race to be united under one.
That was why Charlene focused on this first. She knew that this was not only her drive but also the verdict that the Father God wanted. At least, she believed that to be the case.
To achieve that, she needed to solve her current predicament.
“It’s not easy to solve this problem. I need something more…some element that can accomplish what I want…”
Charlene was deep in her thought that she did not notice that someone was approaching. Then the figure tapped Charlene on the shoulders. Charlene widened her eyes and turned to look at the familiar figure with a reserved smile.
“What brings you here, Annie?” Charlene asked.
The figure was wearing a white coat with a shorter height than Charlene. She was on the side of the aesthetic of the human could be considered a beauty. She was one of the friends that Charlene had and she was undoubtedly a dwarf.
Annie, the dwarf was expecting that from Charlene. She said, “You are occupied by something in your mind. Is there something I can do to help?”
“Just something to consider when researching a world-destroying weapon.” Despite the scary topic, Charlene spoke of it as if it was a trivial matter.
“Wow, as expected of you. Thinking about something that even superpowers of the continent cannot do yet. Do you have a solution yet?”
“Not yet. I ck something and I want to find out what it is. Therefore, you can help in this regard.” Charlene said as she csped her hands with Annie’s.
Annie who saw this was a bit flustered. She was actually one of the few who admired Charlene but did not refuse.
“What is it?” Annie’s eyes darted around as she saw Charlene let go of her hand.
“Well, it is to see which one is suitable to be the source of the process of fission. I think an atom with a lot of weight will be suitable. So you can look for it from there.” Charlene expined before she asked, “Can you do it?”
“Umm, maybe.” Annie shrugged her shoulders but Charlene did not like that.
“Be more certain.” Charlene said sternly at Annie.
“I am not sure actually. But since you are confident about it, there is a high chance that we will get a result within two months.”
Hearing that, Charlene then shifted through her paperwork. She then separated some of it and gave it to Annie.
“Here is your part. You only need to find out which one is the most suitable. I will handle the theoretical range of the effect of the fission.” Charlene said as she expined the part that needed to be addressed.
Annie looked at the paper carefully before she nodded in agreement. She knew that the task that Charlene had given her was important so she did not dey and went to do it.
Charlene then went to do her work.

Two months flew by fast. There was news that the Snatcher had acted up in the Thebes Kingdom but the Transcendence Army the kingdom had built proved to be effective as they were the ones who had dealt with the Snatcher.
After this news spread to the people across the Comberth Continent, they knew that the Thebes Kingdom would have a partnership with the Hinon Federation.
It was proven true as the representative of the two had a meeting at Mountain Poniponi. The mountain was located at the center of the continent in the neutral country.
Both of the representatives finalized the deal. The deal was for them to cooperate in regards to the Snatcher.
For both superpowers, this was a big move that the other superpower became wary. The weak other country in the continent saw this as an opportunity for a new order.
It meant that they had to take a stance and follow whoever was the most suitable to be the one who would unify the human race.
As long as their interest was not harmed, they were willing to support one side.
On the other hand, Charlene had progressed with her research and finally found a suitable material for the development of the world-destroying weapon.
Actually, it was closer to the bomb that was used by the aircraft bomber to attack the ground target. It was then called the atomic bomb.
The problem then was about the practical use of it. Since it was created, it would inevitably be used but the Hinon Federation strictly prohibited its use even during conventional warfare.
Furthermore, those two months had been resource-burning as it used some of the federation’s capital as well as the material used.
So the Federation had produced two bombs to be used right away. Since they could make two, making more would not be a problem.
This was the first time the human race could produce a world-destroying weapon. Even though it was still questioned whether the bombs were suitable to be called that but Charlene decred that using such a weapon on a rge scale could truly destroy the world in theory.
Unfortunately, no one could witness the destructive power of the atomic bomb yet so no one could say for sure it was a world-destroying weapon.
The only thing the Hinon Federation could do was spread the news that they had developed a world-destroying weapon first to the involved superpowers and countries across the continent.
While this was happening, Charlene spent some time with her family.
This was a time when she could finally be together with her family. She enjoyed the homemade food that her mother made, discussing some of the political issues across the Federation and continent with her father, and finally spent some time alone.
This was also the time that Charlene reflected on her decision. She fought with herself countless times since her determination to assist in creating a world-destroying weapon.
“But without it, the unification of the human race will not be achieved. I can only hope that the powerhouses of the continent will think things through when they hear the news from our side.” Charlene murmured in a solemn manner.
As for what would happen in the future, Charlene could only leave it to the future her. She also wanted to develop a nuclear power pnt where they would use a nuclear reaction as the source of energy. That way, the energy produced would be higher than the current fossil-fueled energy source.
But she had discovered that the byproduct of such a nuclear reaction would produce another kind of waste that must be treated carefully.
She did not expect that at all and tried to find another way to make things cleaner. But so far, that was the cleanest energy source that she could find.
“For now, this is as far as I can go.” Charlene ended her session by being alone and reflecting on herself.
She went out of her room and enjoyed her time with her family before returning to her office the next day. It was also another day off without school so Charlene could fully focus on what she wanted to do.
As soon as she arrived at the office at the Hinon Science Institute where she and her research group used, she was greeted by a commotion around her desk.
As if hearing her footstep, those crowd of people then turned their head to look at her. Their eyes were shining and lit up upon sighting the figure of Charlene. Among them were Annie who looked like the leader of the crowd.
“What is this all about?” Charlene furrowed her brow, did not understand the reason why there was a crowd near her desk.
“Charlene, we all are looking for you.” Annie greeted Charlene as she gave Charlene a wave of her hand.
“What for?”
“We are here to congratute you for being the first person to develop a world-destroying weapon. We have to celebrate this occasion since this meant that the unification of the continent is just in front of our eyes!” Annie replied with a smile.
“But it will be used eventually right?” Charlene gave Annie some cue.
“Of course, it will be used in the legendary Star Battle! With this weapon, there is no need to be afraid of an opponent simir to our current conventional weapons.” One of the crowd said and the rest all agreed on that notion.
Charlene was stunned. She had forgotten that while the weapon could be used against her fellow human, it could also be used to attack the opponent in the Star Battle.
Charlene finally felt that her guilt and burden slowly melted away. If this weapon could truly help humanity to stand up against foe in the Star Battle, then her contribution would be immense.
Seeing the optimistic researcher left Charlene with a sense of gratitude toward the being who created this world, toward the Father God for developing the human race to this extent, and also to her parents.
She let out a breathtaking smile, a smile that could cause the downfall of a city. Seeing that, the group of people who had surrounded her was dazzled and their minds went bnk.
Annie was unable to say anything in this situation because she captured that moment and ingrained it to her mind.
After that, she hugged Charlene and said, “Wah! You are so pretty like that. Can you do it again?”
Charlene who was being hugged patted Annie on the shoulder and replied, “No, I don’t think I can do that. Come on, there are so many more things that we can do for today. Let’s get to work.”
Charlene also did not forget the group of people who had formed a crowd and said, “Alright, everyone go back to your job. We are not done yet.”
“Yes!” the group nodded and replied in unison. They returned to their own desk obediently while Annie was still hanging with Charlene.
“Charlene, are you forgetting something?” Annie started another conversation with Charlene.
Charlene who was sitting on a chair at her desk looked at Annie before she replied, “I am not forgetting about that. But first tell me about the weapon first.”
“Ha, alright then. The world-destroying weapon has been successfully produced. As of now, we have two bombs that could be used immediately. Furthermore, there is talk that more such weapons are to be produced right away.”
Annie was saying this while folding her hand.
Charlene was frowning as she listened to her.
‘The Federation wants to produce more? Are they trying to stockpile such weapon in case the first two are successful?’ Charlene thought.
‘But we are not even trying to use the first two. Where would they try to store it anyway?’
No matter what her opinion on that matter was, she could not change the decision of the top figure of the Federation. So she threw that thought to the back of her head and said to Annie, “Now that the research group has successfully created the first world-destroying weapon, we can share the profit from it. As for you, you will get ten percent. Are you satisfied?”
Annie who heard that beamed with joy as her eyes lighted up. She nodded profusely in agreement as the profit was based on the creation of each atomic bomb. She got ten percent of the profit which meant quite a lot.
“This is because you are the one who designed and made the blueprints of the bombs. You deserved this much at least.” Charlene knew that Annie was worth of this price since many blueprints for the bomb was handled by her alone.
As for Charlene, she already thought about her own share and it was as big as fifteen percent the profit.
A slight smile surfaced on her face because of that. She believed that most of the weapons made were going to be used in the Star Battle. But she also knew that anyone who did not believe in the decration of the Federation regarding the creation of the world-destroying weapon would be subjected to one as a warning to the others.
She could only bear that in mind.

Dian on the other hand was discussing the pcement of the Etherium in his possession with Ghylea and Leif.
“Where should we pce this? In the Hinon Federation, Thebes Kingdom, or even the Heavensend Kingdom?”
Ghylea and Leif did not know what to say. After all, the importance of Etherium could be seen by its description alone. Therefore, pcing it in the most strategic pce would be the best course of action.
The problem was that there were three pces that suited the criteria.
“Hmm. I think pcing it in the Thebes Kingdom is the most suitable.” Ghylea thought before giving Dian his opinion.
“Expin your thought.” Dian uttered as he stared at Ghylea.
“It is because the Thebes Kingdom is the one who researched the Transcendent Tree the most in human civilization. Pcing Etherium there would be more beneficial. At least that is what I thought.”
“That is truly reasonable. Alright, let’s put it into the hands of the Thebes Kingdom.” Dian said after a while. This surprised Leif and Ghylea as their master was listening to their opinion.
The truth was that Dian already realized this but let his subordinates participate in the discussion so that they would be accustomed to do so. After all, Dian alone was not an omniscient and omnipotent being. There were so many things that he cked therefore he needed assistance.
Furthermore, doing this would cause them to feel like they could share some of their opinions. While some of them were unimportant, there were some cases where they could provide additional information that proved vital and could address any problem that arises in the future.
Ghylea and Leif on the other hand were gd that they surrendered to the right individual.
This caused them to be more devoted to watching and safeguarding their race under the human race's supervision
Then Dian sighed before he brought the Etherium to the Cerulean Pnet with him. He manifested himself as a humanoid cloud which resembled his feature.
He appeared at the research institute in the Thebes Kingdom. In fact, it was the same pce where he had obtained Malicium.
“Is that…Father God?”
“Father God has descended once again!”
A small commotion occurred the moment Dian manifested himself.
“Please gather your leading researcher here. I have something to give you.” A thunderous voice echoed out. Since the st time, the researcher had prepared for this case and closed their ears immediately.
Then a middle-aged man appeared. Dian knew this person since he was the same one who greeted him the st time he was here.
Dian waved his cloudy hand and a jade-colored crystal appeared in front of the researcher. For them, this was likely to be the action of grabbing something from a separate dimensional inventory.
“This is called Etherium. This is the main source of the Transcendent Power that you have researched. Although the Undead Element is a Transcendent energy source, it is unsuitable for most humans. Use this with caution!” Dian’s thunderous voice reverberated once again as the researchers once again closed their ears.
The researcher’s eyes were shining at the sight of the Etherium. They wanted to study this thoroughly so that they gained an understanding of it.
“Father God, is this thing the exchange for the previous Malicium that we have given?” the middle-aged man asked.
The cloud humanoid figure nodded his head. The middle-aged man’s eyes lit up as he lunged to the Etherium as the first one to do so.
After seeing the enthusiastic researcher went to do so examination to the Etherium crystal, Dian left silently. He did not want to hinder the progress of the research and returned to the Pnet Master Space.
There, he made it so that a luxurious throne appeared in front of him and sat on it.
“Then let me see more of the unlocked features. Perhaps I can gain more information before I go to the Universe Market for the second time.” Dian excimed.
