After the strike, stones scattered, and a large notch appeared in the wall. It felt as if the world had frozen for a moment, and then silence reigned again.

After taking my notes, I decided to call it a day. Testing my new abilities, preparing this entire list, and organizing the goblins had taken up most of my day. Before the goblins arrived, I decided to cook and finish the day.
I set the materials in my workshop aside and went to the fire to prepare the meal. Everything was ready; I just had to put it together. Sweating from the heat, I took off my shirt, washed my hands, and started chopping vegetables with a sharp knife. Today, I decided to make a more protein-rich meal, as the long crafting process had left me quite exhausted. I chopped up the rabbit meat I had obtained from the traps and tossed it into the pot I had made, then added vegetables and a bit of water and started cooking.
While the meal was cooking, I noticed the goblins arriving. I instructed them to place their belongings in the appropriate storage areas I had prepared. The sound of goblins mumbling and wandering around me made me smile. A few minutes later, the food was ready. It was hot, and the aroma filled the air. I gathered all the goblins together and placed a large plate in front of each of them. They immediately attacked their food with excitement, finishing their plates almost instantly.
I took my own plate and sat off to the side, watching them eat. For a while, there was silence, only the sounds of eating could be heard. A few minutes later, one of the goblins nodded his head gratefully and said, “Gob Gob!” The others happily said the same thing. Their joy made me forget my tiredness a bit.
After the meal, a pleasant silence settled between us, as we all felt the peace from a day’s work. The sky had started to darken, and the cool evening breeze was beginning to flow into the workshop through the window. We had come to the end of the day.
The goblins had already fallen asleep from exhaustion. Gob’s foot was in Brug’s mouth, and Zip and Grob had curled up together to sleep. Krag was lying on Tuk’s belly, also asleep. I lay down on my bed and closed my eyes, knowing that tomorrow I would begin forging weapons again...
