Since I had spent the st 2 years all inside of my fathers territory, I had not seen much of the outside world.

  But during our trip to the capital, I saw something amazing.

  The only time I had ever seen this world before was through my computer screen, and even then this world could be very breathtaking.

  But the world in person was so different.

  Breathtaking seems like an understatement. It wasn’t even that much, but just the nature outside the windows of the carriage was beautiful.

  And when we finally made it to the capital, it was the most beautiful city I had ever seen.

  The capital had several districts that all were separated by rivers. It was 5 separate parts of the city. The most breathtaking part of the city was the castle.

  Ms. Jacqueline had taught me that the castle was built on an artificial isnd that was made with magic.

  It was so big that you could see it from a long distance. It was completely beautiful. From what I know about physics taught me that some of it must be held together with magic. It was clearly designed to be somewhat out of this world.

  It had things like artificial waterfalls, and hanging gardens. It served several different purposes then just being the home for the royal family. Inside there were countless training areas for knights, and bs for magical research.

  I would guess you could get lost in it for days.

  I had still yet to get close to it, but even from a distance, it was amazing.

  The castle was an image often used for loading screens in the game, but it just doesn’t compare.

  The same goes for the whole capital. The bustling streets, the stalls and all the people seem so alive.

  I know this is because it's not just a game anymore, but still.

  It was pretty te when we finally got to our mansion in the capital. When the three of us get out of the carriage, I look up to the sky, and I see a beautiful clear night sky.

  And I am completely stopped in aw.

  ∴

  “Nyx, we should sleep together” Lilith said, falling all over me when we entered the mansion when we finally got to the capital.

  It was already te and we were both tired so I didn’t have any strength to say no right now.

  “Now remember Lilith, you have things to do in the morning” dad told her.

  “I know, I know” she said, still leading me into the mansion.

  When we fully get into the mansion, we are greeted by the staff. I do notice the head butler in the entrance hall. He looked a lot like his son, just older.

  He greeted dad and welcomed us all to the mansion.

  “Um” Lilith said, walking over to him. “It's nice to see you again, grandpa Jacob. Are the rooms ready yet. Its been a long day”

  “Its good to see you as well, ms. Lilith. And that must be Nyx with you as well” he started. “Your rooms are ready. I’ll have one of the maids guide you over to them”

  “Just mine is fine” Lilith said, “Nyx is going to be staying with me tonight”

  With that, the head butler, Jacob Bentwood, looked over at our parents and they nodded that it was ok.

  “Allright” he says. “Please guide the young masters to the room prepared for Ms. Lilith”

  And with that, one of the maids guides the two of us to a part of the mansion. I have never been here before, so I don’t know what any of these rooms are. Eventually we get to a door and the maid opens it for us, letting us in.

  The door leads to a pretty normal looking bedroom. It had a rge bed and a desk, but nothing really decorated it. That made sense, since no one was living in this room.

  “Please call if you need anything” the maid said, doing a quick curtsey and leaving the room. Before she leaves, a few maids who were following us with our suitcases put them down in the room and leave as well.

  “Thank you” I called back to them, trying to be nice.

  “Well” Lilith starts. “I have an early morning tomorrow to prepare for my pcement test. And you must be tired from the long trip. We should get some sleep”

  Lilith was much taller then I was currently. She had already hit her major growth spurts and was probably already the height she would be for the rest of her life.

  This put her at around 5’8”, quite tall.

  Assuming I grew to be the same height as Nyx was in the game, she was going to be a good 5 inches taller than me.

  Not only was she taller, but she was also developed in over pces as well.

  In this world, the age of adulthood is 15, compared to 18 in my old world. This was normal for fantasy worlds I had read before, but it still felt weird, since that means I would be an adult in 4 years.

  I no longer felt like an adult, like I was in my past life.

  Quickly, Lilith and I changed into sleeping clothes. I still was using frilly nightgowns that cover my whole body, but it seems that Liltih bought different things.

  She had put on a night gown that was much more adult than any I had ever seen. It was partially see-through.

  From there, Lilith turned off the lights in the room and we got into bed together.

  I fell asleep with her hugging me tightly, feeling safe in life.

  ∴

  Lilith woke me up the next morning by rubbing my head.

  “Nyx, I have to go study for my exam, but you have a good day with mom. I picked out clothes from your suitcase already” she said to me.

  Tomorrow was the day of her pcement exam, so it made sense she was going to study today.

  Still not fully awake I hear the door open and close. A few minutes ter, I fully get up and decided to get ready for the day.

  Lilith was right that I was going out to see the capital today with mom. And for that, Lilith did pick out everyday clothes for me.

  Over the st 2 years, I learned I essentially had two different types of clothes. The first type is what I normally wear at home. These were the more eborate dresses my family bought me.

  The other were clothes I wore in public. These were less eborate and more everyday clothes.

  Both sets were girl clothes though.

  I quickly get dressed. The outfit Lilith picked out consisted of a white blouse and a pink skirt with white ce at the end. She also yed out a set of stockings for me.

  After putting everything on, and grabbing my boots, I looked in a mirror in the room.

  I looked very cute.

  While I was at the mirror, someone knocked on the door.

  “Come in” I say.

  With my response, a maid comes into the room.

  “Master Nyx, your parents have called you for breakfast” they tell me.

  “Allright, thank you” I tell them, and follow them out of the room.

  The maid then lead me to the dinning room. There I found mom and dad already being served breakfast. I sat down next to mom.

  “Good morning Nyx” mom says to me.

  “Yes, good morning” dad says.

  “Good morning” I say back to both of them.

  “Are you excited to see the capital today?” Mom asked me.

  “Oh, yes. It looked so beautiful from afar st night. I can’t wait to see it during the day” I tell her.

  “Well, grandpa Jacob is going to take us after breakfast. It seems you're already dressed for it” Mom says. The second part of her sentence was in a weird tone, probably because she wanted to pick out my clothes.

  “Yeah, Lilith picked them out for me” I say with a big smile, trying to calm mom down.

  After a few second, mom spoke again, “Well, you look cute today”

  After that brief conversation, we finished up breakfast. Then dad spoke up.

  “Well, you two. I need to get to work for the day. I have a meeting in the castle ter, but I should be back in time for dinner” He told us.

  “Have a great day, Honey” mom said to him.

  After he left, and the maids finished cleaning the table, the head butler, mr. Jacob Bentwood, came over to mom and me.

  “If you are ready Miss. The carriage is ready for you” he told mom.

  “Thank you, we will be out in a minute” she tells him.

  ∴

  While Nyx and Cordelia were heading out into the city, Hardon was getting ready for his meeting with the king.

  It was rare for him to be meeting with the king, since he was just a count. His territory was of no real interest, and had brought in a steady tax income for the whole time he had been in charge of it.

  In fact, the prosperity of the territory has been on the rise since he took over fully from his father, after his death.

  But the king had called a meeting, and he must oblige.

  He was a servant of the crown.

  Not sure what the king could want, he prepared anything he could think of.

  ∴

  While Hadron was preparing for this meeting, and Nyx and Cordelia were going into the city, Lilith was studying in the library.

  The library they had in the capital was not as expansive as the one they had back home, but it had enough for her.

  Lilith was aiming to be her css representative.

  THis meant she needed to score the highest on the pcement test.

  From there, she was going to be top of her css all 5 years.

  She was even aiming to be study body president.

  This was to get her ready to be head of her family.

  She knew the main reason for her family's position was their military strength, but she had higher ambitions. To raise the rank of her family, she needed more political power.

  And a good position at school could help.

  She had found her dream, and she would do anything for it.
