Somewhere in the floating dungeon, two people were walking in the corridors, cheg on the security when out of nowhere, the wall beside them colpsed and a figure walked inside leisurely.

  "Ah, there are a few bugs in the way, huh?"

  Alex smirked and released a mighty aura that shook the two of the men draped in their robes, their faces covered.

  The two men instantly rolled their eyes and foamed from their mouths as they lost sciousness.

  "Sorry, but I have other important stuff to take care of," Alex said and walked inside, ign the two of them.

  Oher side, all of the teams infiltrated the hideout without any problem aed their first batch of enemies with ease, making progress.

  Mereoleona especially was roasting her enemies with no mercy, her Crimson hell fmes burning hotter than ever...

  Alex tinued walking deeper while knog out anyone who tried to stop him. He seemed to think about some events that occurred in the past.

  ~~Fshback~~

  "Uh?... W-Where is this?" Patolli slowly woke up and looked around, only to find himself in an unfamiliar pce.Beside him were the three members of the Third Eye, Vento, Fanna, and Rhya.

  "Oh, you're awake too." Rhya looked at Patolli and smiled.

  "Rhya, where are we?" He asked quickly.

  Rhya shrugged his shoulders and replied zily. "No idea. This is a very weird pce. Even though it is filled with such a dense amount of magic but I 't seem to absorb it. And... there is a strange creepy aura lingering in the surroundings."

  "Are Vetto and Fana alright?" Patolli nodded his head as he too could feel that. He looked at two of his subordinates and asked with .

  Rhya replied. "They are pletely fi for some reason, they are in a state of atose and I 't wake them up no matter how I tried."

  "It's because I do not want them to wake up." While the duo was worried for their friends, a cold and calm voice attracted their attention.

  Patolli and Rhya simultaneously turheir heads and saw Alex walking over toward them with a light step.

  It made the two of them instantly shiver in fear. They remembered clearly how the young man in front of them washed the floor with the four of them in an instant.

  Alex watched their reas and chuckled pyfully. "Rex. I have no iion to kill you or else... I have nht the four of you here."

  "What do you want?" Patolli stared at Alex and sighed. He was sure that Alex eaking the truth.

  If it was before he might still be ag arrogant and haughty but now, he had toned down it quite a bit.

  "Haha... now you seem more reasohan before, Patolli." Alex smiled, teasing the Elf. "Now the's get down to business since I don't have that much time on hand."

  "Here," Alex tossed the magic stones in his possession toatolli. "With this, you will hree more. I will help you with your thing but iurn, you will not harm the humans."

  "I refuse."

  Before Patolli could reply, Rhya interjected coldly. He spoke with an unusually serious expression. "Even if you kill me, I will hate you humans!... Licht was my... he was my light. And you snatched it from me!!"

  At the end, he screamed loudly.

  Alex was calm, so much calm that I sent chills down the spine of the two Elves. He snapped his fingers and the two Elves buzzed.

  They looked like they had been struck by lightning and their bodies trembled.

  Patolli and Rhya were in a state of trand when their eyes cleared agaiurning back to reality, Patolli looked at Alex with a horrified expression.

  "You... You are..." Rhya opened his mouth to say something but he couldn't.

  Alex's eyes sharpened and he released his intense bloodlust. He had always bottled down his painful memories of the past especially that day when he lost his everything. He had never been the same person sihat bight and he could never return to normal ever again.

  "I had lost my family... twice. I even killed my own father with my hands, ripping out his heart from his chest and drinking his blood... But it didn't mean that I go after all the is just for the sake of revenge... If you want to kill the royalties then be my guest but I will still say this... those people who are responsible for your loss have passed away already. Even if you kill their desdants now, it will n anything to you..."

  "But still those humans..." Patolli tried to retort Alex but the tter cut him off. "It's not that simple. The event that occurred in the past is much more than I seem to the eyes."

  "What do you mean?" Patolli asked carefully.

  Alex smiled and snapped his fingers again, this time showing them some informatioed to the Elves Massacre Event from the inal.

  Patolli and Rhya's faces turned pale frht as they were made to relive all those painful memories of the past. Ahey ched their hands into fists and gritted their teeth, persistent to learn what transpired after they had passed away.

  Finally, after fifteen miheir eyes cleared and tears fell down from their eyes untrolbly. They wailed in pain as the memories they had with their friends tio fsh in their heads.

  Those familiar people, those times of peace, everyone was so happy at that time.

  Alex just let them release their bottled-up emotions.

  "Have you calmed down?" Alex asked with a smile.

  Patolli and Rhya slowly wiped out their tears and expressed their gratitude.

  "Thank you... thank you for this..."

  "It's alright." Alex waved his hand and asked. "Now, what are you going to do?"

  Patolli stared down on the ground silently for a moment before he raised his head and spoke resolutely.

  "I am sorry but... I 't five you... humans! And I will kill that demon with my hands!!"

  Rhya also nodded his head with a solemn expression, agreeing with his friend.

  Alex smiled and said. "Fine by me. How I ask you guys to put down your hatred when I myself hate that old bastard till now?... I will help you in your pn to cut off that disgusting demon's head!"
