The idea for this story actually started with a strange dream I had. Buttons sewed to fingers.

  And strange robots. As I kid, I wanted to be an inventor. And I always imagined I would be rich and famous.

  I can almost imagine myself as the father of the character. Im creative, disorganized, and love building. I love strange stories that make people realize things. In a way this story is something for myself. I felt myself stagnating this year. Doing the same things every day.

  And recently I have tried to change myself. I’m eating better. Doing my homework more often, working out. And I’ve gone ‘cold turkey’ on video games. I haven’t played any for 6 weeks as of this Saturday.

  I wonder if the character in this story can better himself like I am trying to do. And I’m glad I don’t need a robot to sew buttons to my fingers to make me realize I need to change.

  I love AI generated art. And think it is cool. I spent about 15 minutes trying to get the wording right to finagle out the cover image. I went through 30 to 40 iterations of the cover. Until I got the one included in this document
