  "So do you want to try to do this binding thing now?" I still had no idea what to do but if it was instinctual then we were going to have to do a bit of trial and error.

  I had no problem with it. Gave us some diversity in what we could do but without some proper training with the two of us it was hard to cement anything. The gamer part of my mind was already running through how I could put her mutation to the test.

  "That's more than fine. I mean if you want to stay at long range that means it'll be easier to protect me right?"

  A smile snaked it's way into her lips. "Yes it would."

  While she was trying to hide I needed to figure out this bonding situation somehow.

  Pcing a hand on her back I mentally delved into my mana battery, I was hoping the bonding process was something reted to it and was happy when I was correct. I almost kicked myself because I'd forgotten to keep it active during our previous activities, I would need to work on that in the future if I didn't want my instructors to hit me with small spells.

  "Through our bond you can improve my mutation though my knowledge of how is cking, I believe it should be taught in css. The main part of the bond that guards will use is that I can 'call' to your mana specifically regardless of distance allowing me to find you regardless of distance." She removed her hand and gave me a very pointed look. "That being said you are not to be away from me in the first pce understand?"

  "That's fine it's so much more than I know." I said trying to put her worries to rest. It worked for the most part. "What now?"

  I really wanted to explore a little bit as Liliana hadn't shown me too much but just as the words left my mouth a yawn took over my body and didn't leave for a good ten seconds. Oh yeah all this happened right after I'd pulled a double shift, surprised I stayed awake this long.

  I gave her a nod already heading towards the room I'd picked out not at all surprised when Sapphire followed. I did give her a questioning gnce when she slithered into bed with me but she just gave me that 'wherever you go I go' look back and at this point I was definitely warming up to the idea that she would be by my side. So long as I could go to the bathroom in peace, would have to draw the line there at least.
