  I know it's been months since I've posted an update, and more time before that since I've posted a chapter, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm unfortunately going to give up on this novel.

  Trust me, I enjoy the premise as much as you do. An inanimate MC embarking cultivation with the help of a system... it's one of the ideas that have been festering in my mind for a long time. However, I realized that I still lack the finesse and knowledge to execute the novel well even though this is already a rewrite, though it's mostly because I lack the time necessary to be able to focus on this novel, especially with how large its overall scope is.

  If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.

  Though, with that being said, it does sound kind of hypocritical that I plan on writing a new novel here sometime in the future. Possibly next week, possibly next month. Depends on how much time I have, but I'll make sure to stockpile before its release this time around.

  With that, I sincerely apologize for failing to meet your expectations, and thank you for sticking around with the novel at the same time. If not for your kind words in the previous update, I probably would've never made this update since I feared the backlash I would get from saying this. Thank you once again.

  If possible, I hope to see you guys on the new novel I create in the future.
