Sang, Rose, and Joyce all stood still as they watched Dante consume the now-gone rift. They watched as Dante’s translucent wings turned black. His wings, which were similar to fish fins before, now morphed quickly into proper dragon wings. Dante was opening and folding them until something bizarre happened: a massive red eye opened up in the center part of the wing. Sang did what any sane person would do when their Inunu did some odd-ass fuck shit and put him into their altering. Just as Sang was looking at Dante’s altering, he had an urge to look up, and when he did, he saw his father’s ship, the Dread Knot. As Rose looked in the direction Sang was staring, she smiled before saying, “And here comes our ride. We did a good job clearing out this pesky rift business. Surely we will get tons of good deed badges.”
The Dread Knot flew over Sang’s group and into Sandyville. Rose pouted before marching back to the gate. Sang and Joyce followed behind her, snickering to themselves. The guard at the front of the gate asked them to fill out a paper asking how many oozes they killed. When he received the paper back, to his surprise, they wrote “all of them,” which made the guard stand up and open the gate to check. As he got back, he looked at them in disbelief before asking how. Sang didn’t bother answering and walked off. Rose and Joyce followed behind him as they walked away. They stopped at a restaurant called Slice of Life.
