"That's not a good idea. What if they try to test whether you are a vampire or not."
"Father. Look at her body. They will not gonna try to see if she is a vampire or not."
All three tried to think if they had some rules for entering as they have here, but the only one who would know was Allesio.
"What about Father Gregorio? Once he arrives to teach me, I will ask him if there are some kind of rules like you have here."
Cra felt that she would be able to find out what was happening in the household and also find out more about hunters in one go. Excitement for her to do something.
Cra quickly left the room and went up to wait for Father Gregorio and in the meantime, started reading through the books. Cra quickly lost herself in the reading simple book which she already read with Father Gregorio and tried to learn the words which were not familiar to her. After more and more hardship with the book, doors into the room opened and Father Gregorio entered in.
"Be god with you."
Cra felt that something was not right and after a second look, she saw the silver cross on his neck.
"Father, why are you wearing a silver cross, if you don't believe in God?"
Father Gregorio ignored Cra with a smile and sat at the table. He looked messy and the only thing on him that was clean was the silver on his neck.
"You know Elder Cra, you may be a vampire, but you certainly believe in God too. The church is the only hope for the mortals to not completely turn against each other. If there is no belief, people will lose their meaning, and they will be just like vampires. ANIMALS."
Cra was lost for words. She didn't though that Father Gregorio thought like that about vampires. To this moment, she thought, that vampires are creatures of night and have the power to shake the world, but now? Now Father Gregorio compared them to animals.
"Why would I believe in god?"
"Shall we start reading? Did you try to read in the meantime?"
Cra wanted to know the answer to her question, but Father Gregorio started to talk about the reading, and she was not able to get back to her question. Time starts to fly as they start reading about economics.
Cra was happy to learn two things at the same time and she was shocked by how much the economy, was because she lost herself in a rge amount of information.
They stopped a few hours ter as Father Gregorio started to get tired.
"I will need to leave, so they will not suspect me."
"Yes, but before you go. What were hunters doing in Bianchi's household and who is Allesio Romano?"
Such a question made Father Gregorio freeze in fear. He was in an instant covered in cold sweat.
"I don't know anything, and I need to leave."
He stands up and starts to leave.
"ANSWER!"
"He is a hunter," said Gregorio in n horse tone, and felt that he couldn't resist Cra's question. Cra on the other hand only confirmed what she already knew.
"Do you know why they pull vampires their fangs out?"
"No."
"Good job. We will see after two days at the same time. I will try to find out more about the Allesio Romano in the meantime, so we can compare what we know."
Father Gregorio quickly went to the doors, but unlike his first quick exit, he didn't leave the room.
"You caught hunter?"
"Yes. The old man is interrogating him for a day. I also found twenty vampires in the Bianchi household, so I will need to go investigate the cathedral if there is some more information about hunters, how many are here, what are they doing, what are their pns."
"Don't get caught."
Cra felt sure about her pn, and just as Father Gregorio was about to close the doors behind him, he saw not Cra, but a young-looking man approaching the doors from within the room. He was shocked to death, as he saw a nearly crippled boy moving closer to him.
"W-Who are you?"
The boy approached him closer.
"It's me Allesio Romano," said the boy. His tone was somehow rough, but as he looked, it was a miracle that he was able to walk or speak. In an instant in his smiling face appeared vampire fangs and the illusion shattered. In the same instant, he saw Cra smiling and showing him her fangs.
"How?"
"This is my pn. I will go there as Allesio Romano. No one will be able to find out that it's not him. Once I am in the cathedral, I will have a chance to find some more clues about what the hunters are doing here."
"They surely will. Do you think that someone will be able to move in such conditions? Also, you look like you were burned, but you still didn't smell. Your hands look broken, but you don't look like you are in pain. If your cover is a hunter, they will surely ask you many questions and have some secret way to communicate, to prevent someone like you from exploring their secrets."
"I will be very quick like when we travelled front Venezia here."
