  It is time for some serious memory infusion. I recently started reading '我真没想当救世主啊' / 'I really don't want to be a savior.'. I am currently on chapter 228.

  There will be a few spoilers. But I really just want to talk about this book.

  I definitely recommend this one!

  It is about a completely normal average guy. But one day, he finds himself a thousand years in the future. Not only is his name the same as in the past. But his appearance is also the same.

  The MC at the time was a recruit in the army. He was mainly confused and lacked common sense of that era. So he ended up getting discharged and becoming a 'low-income household'.

  But this is a thousand years into the future and humanity has unified and the quality of life even for those at the bottom of society is VERY good.

  Low income households have access to real resources, food, and entertainment unimaginable to us today. So the MC lived life carefree enjoying the perks of a highly advanced civilization.

  But a year later...

  All of humanity died! Including the MC!

  The MC had no idea what wiped him out. But the pain of death made him realize that all of this was real. So what happened to our MC?

  He woke up back in the present!

  A single night had passed.

  It turns out that every month on the 26th. When he sleeps. He will go a thousand years into the future. The MC tries to exploit lottery numbers or the stock market by looking at history.

  But he fails ultimately because that information is restricted to a higher authority. So the MC can only be a 'porter' of entertainment.

  He lacks resources to bring the games and movies from the future to the past. So he copies popular songs from the future and brings them to the past.

  A arc of this later. The real story begins.

  The MC has resources and has established himself as a 'musical genius' by this point. He will go down in history as one of the greats.

  But this is where things get interesting.

  The MC initially just wanted to increase his quality of life. Buy a house, live a normal life. But now, things have changed! He is the only one that can travel to the future.

  The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.

  The MC appears to be a genius to others. Because, while in reality he only studies something for a month. He is on the level of someone who studied that thing for 5-10 years.

  This is thanks to his endless free time in the future.

  Even if he only has a year to prepare himself.

  But there is something inherently special about his ability to travel to the future. I have some theories I want to talk about.

  Keep in mind what I'm about to talk about. None of it has been 100% confirmed in the story so far. It is just my explanation for the feats of the MC and the story.

  I believe that the MC isn't having simply his consciousness go to the future. I think it is deeper then that. I believe that on the 26th in his sleep. His body is completely destroyed and copied. I then think reality is warped probably about 20 years before he regains consciousness.

  A life path is established for him in the future. This is why he doesn't appear out of nowhere. Then the position of his future self is destroyed just like his body in the past. Then his body is rebuilt on the atomic level to match that of the past.

  Why do I think this?

  Because. In one timeline. When he didn't exercise. He was weaker in the present. But when he kept up with his training. The changes followed him to the present.

  So it is clear that his body state is retained despite dying or going back into the future.

  This is HUGE! Because this affects his potential growth.

  In one timeline. There was something called the 'coagulation serum'. This was a special drug that when injected with allows the human body to withstand a massive amount of force.

  A well trained soldier injected with this. If there adaptability is within a reasonable range. They can walk off getting hit by a truck. They can withstand twenty to fifty times the gravity in short burst.

  But this drug has a downside. That is... it only last for 3 hours and afterwards. You will become unconscious for 10 hours.

  But when the MC was measured in the future. He had 100% adaptability to this drug! The highest records for humanity were around 90%.

  This means that the MC can pull off insane feats of reaction time, speed, strength, and impact force.

  But something awesome happens. In one timeline, the MC injects himself with this drug right before dying. When he wakes up in the present.

  The effects of the drug are still active! But with none of the side effects!

  It also last indefinitely.

  Keep in mind that the MC only goes to the future loop once a month. So he is changing history each time he lives and brings back information.

  The next time he appears in the future. He finds out that the 'serum' he was compatible with had become a relic of the past. Instead, they have developed a 'gene awakening serum'.

  In this timeline. Every human is injected with this at birth. About one out of three survive.

  Every single person injected with a second dosage dies!

  But the MC doesn't care about death and thinks that he can get benefits. The military unfortunately controls this resource and won't let him do such a crazy action.

  So he goes rogue on an arc to inject himself with this serum.

  He succeeds! He also doesn't die from it.

  His awakening level surpasses 33% and beats the record for gene awakening for humanity.

  It isn't like he will get a chance to inject himself later again as each life he lives in the future is massively different with different or faster tech trees.

  It should also be noted that the MC is a combat genius! He didn't realize this at first as his body was normal. But once he became superhuman. He found even in the future with other people similar to him. He stands at the pinnacle!

  My favorite part of this book so far is the moment he becomes a 'higher lifeform'. That may be a bit of an exaggeration. But his awakening level reaches 35% and his survivability reaches the peak of humanity.

  To the point where he can survive as just a head.

  There were some funny moments where in the future timeline. He is mediocre even as a genius because humanity has progressed too much.

  He struggles to pass kindergarten level courses.

  In the present world. He is seen as one of the greatest minds in the world. But in the future, he is seen as an idiot. This isn't always the case. I just found this funny.

  He has to push technology forward. But the downside is that his status plummets in the future world. He has to spend months just cramming elementary school courses.

  But the MC is full of determination.

  He wants to save humanity!

  His ability is very specific. He always appears at the same point in the future despite history changing. This is why I think his ability distorts history. Since he has different backgrounds based on the environment in the future.

  But he always looks the same and has the same name.

  This is a fun one.
