Interlude: Divine difficulties

In a place with no light a being of darkness was panicking and talking to itself "Oh shit, Oh shit. Fuck that bitch Gaia!" It felt itself fade from existence "What am i going to do!? Gaia's followers killed my last follower a week ago! What the fuck am I going to do!" It was hyperventilating "Damnit all!" cracks started to form on the black walls "I only have a couple weeks to live! Where am I even going to find someone that will even accept the sponsorship!" It brought up a screen.

"I still have 24076 candidates to look through, calm down" It opened another screen

The being was hit in their ego once again "Again! Why do all the strong candidates have such a low chance of accepting a sponsorship?!" after thinking for a while the being asked with its spirits low "What would the acceptance chance be with Gaia?"

Another hit to the beings ego "Calm down, I still have 24075 candidates to go" It opened another screen

another hit to the being, but not at the ego of the being, but the will to go forward. "This guy is trash! Why is this guy so bad! And he's the only guy I've found with a good chance to accept my sponsor ship!" the being stoped, trying to calm down "Calm down there are still 24074 candidates." The being opened another screen

Happyness swelled up inside of the being "Yes!!!" The being then looked at the mortal's personality and charisma "Maybe I should look at the others candidates." The being then kept looking at the candidates, in a cycle of having its ego attacked. But it wasn't as bad as before, at least the being had a mortal that had a high probability to accept it's sponsorship, and was powerfull for a mortal. the mortal even had the 'talented' title, the being was happy with the mortal. except its personality, and below average charisma.
