For a lizard, the size was unusual, being the size of a large truck. It was drawn beside a tree for scale reference. She had seen a lot of animals from the pieces and bits of memory she had, but she did not remember a lizard growing to this size. As a reminder, he said again.
"Congratulations... Make sure to keep your power in check. No matter what, don't lose control."
He reiterated while he pointed to a seat. Gilly nodded slightly before she sat down facing Valmor. A maid entered, bringing tea, and exited as silently as she came, leaving them alone. All this while, her eye was on the strange drawing.
"You seem excited, but unfortunately the mission will only commence a few days from now."
Hearing this, she wore a frown and looked out the window. The reason was that the number of team members required was three. Siel, who was to fit in as the last team member, was suddenly dispatched on a mission with Pom. They were checking the border of their town because of rumors of orc sightings in the province, which had spread through the town of Elnor.
Valmor had told her the relationship they had with Siel; he was Ephini's husband, but hearing Ephini and Zin being eighty-four, she shook the thought of them being age mates. She could not even remember how old she was or the day she was born. It was unusual for elves to get married before a hundred and twenty. He shook his head and then proceeded to explain the fire Salamander's attributes.
It was a monster found in warm to hot regions and was a subspecies of a dragon. Its body is protected with hard black scales, and it has both high resistance to physical and fire damage. This was not only the reason that this creature was ranked a Knight One class. Its speed was abnormal for its size, and it jumped high. This made it hard to deal with. Gilly nodded with every statement made. The salamander could also breathe fire, although this was only true for fire salamanders in this case. The most notable attack it uses was the fireball for long-range attacks.
This was the summary, and Gilly had learned a lot. She had no more questions, and after a pat on the head from Valmor, she proceeded to leave. Standing in front of the door, she saw Zin and an unusual elf with dark skin approaching. She wore a tight, dark blue dress, slightly exposing her slender legs and curves. She was a dark elf from the Demon continent.
"Gilly, great timing! We are going boar hunting; want to tag along?"
Zinn grinned and closed his eyes as he looked at her. She smiled back, which was an affirmation to them, and they all headed west of their village.

.....
They quickly covered the forest as they jumped through the canopy; this was faster than running for the elves. They approached a large clearing west of the forest. An array of flowers, as far as the eyes can see, lay bare on the ground. Different colors of petals could be seen in the ocean of flowers dancing in the wind. Gilly was in awe. She had a feeling of a first-time embrace, like when she felt mana for the first time.
She pondered a bit before asking.
"Um. Zin, how do we find the boars?"
The dark elf commented, pointing at a specific purple flower. This was the main diet of a boar called Dark Lily.
The boars were split into two types: large boars, which were fully grown boars. A mad boar is a kind of boar who has lived for several years. While a large boar had a black or brown mane, a mad boar had a red mane and more power than a large boar. Gilly was surprised because the woman beside her had been quiet throughout the trip.
She turned to look at her, but the elf averted her gaze, staring at the ground. This made Gilly feel awkward. Turning to Zin, who had been observing the scenery while picking up some flowers, she shot him a questioning look. He could feel the gaze piercing him.
"....She is Ai-lyn, and we both serve the same master."
He was nonchalant about his answer, and Gilly could not help but shake her head. Approaching her, she introduced herself and smiled. Ai-lyn took a few steps back before nodding. This made her even more shocked.
"She is usually shy. Just give her time."
At a distance, two boars could be seen making their way through the field as they searched through the flower bed. Zin passed the flower he picked to Gilly, which had a faint caramel and honey smell; this was what the boars were searching for. The Boars were camper. One ranked monsters solely because of their strength.
"You both go after them since there are only two. I will watch out in case anything comes up.”
At first instance, Gilly always got nervous about tasks she had never done. She felt like Zin was giving her a go at real battle experience, but for some strange reason, she was excited. Ai-Lyn had no complaint as she proceeded to unveil the staff, which carried the smell of burnt wood. The staff was a set of vines intertwined together, having a set of golden patterns in between each vine.
The plan was set, and Gilly pulled her sword with both hands, dashing forward. One of the wild boars raised its head and, seeing Gilly at a distance, gave out a loud grunt, which alerted the other boar beside it. They charged forward toward her, with the Mad Boar leading the charge and the other boar flanking from the right.
Stretching forward her staff slightly, the staff released a green aura that flew from the staff into the ground a few meters from the large boar, which was quite a distance from Gilly. A large vine came forth from the ground, wrapping tightly around the large buck and closely around the neck, strangling it.
Gilly's seeing Ai-Lyn move made her confident in charging forward. Just as the two forces were about to collide with each other, the Mad Boar lowered its head, revealing two towering tusks pointing toward Gilly. She was no fool as she sidestepped, barely evading the tusk, and proceeded with a stance that was all too familiar. With a single quick swing, a deep cut appeared on the boar's neck, revealing some muscle and bone, and it fell dead in a pool of its blood.
"Nice job."
Zin waved from a distance at her while Ai-lyn tapped her staff on the ground, releasing the boar corpse on the floor.
She wrapped her staff once more with the cloth as she had done before and waved it once more. The corpses of the boar approached them suspended in the air. As Gilly approached, she was still amazed at what magic could do. She had seen Ephini flying, but it still looked odd seeing objects fly. looking at the. Ai-Lyn turned and started walking back to the town with the boars floating behind her and Gilly and Zin chatting all the way.
