Evelynne walked with Mica and her friend, Malakai. It seemed like everyone in their group was busy doing other important things today, so she and Malakai went alone. Today, they were planning to sneak into an old widow's house and take her jewelry.
Evelynne pictured the jewels in her mind. She could TASTE them! Excitement washed over her and Malakai as they traveled alone at midnight.
Malakai looked up at the stars. "How many stars in the sky do you think can be counted?"
"Mmm.....don't know, don't care." Evelynne replied.
Malakai shrugged. "Fair enough." The dark haired boy turned to her. "What's the plan exactly?"
"Easy......just got to sneak in through her window....knock her out, kill her.....whatever you want to do.....she'll be yours. Afterwards, we'll go upstairs and collect her treasures! How's that?"
Malakai chuckled. "Sounds fun!"
Evelynne smiled at him and looked down at Mica. "What do you think, boy?"
Mica yipped excitedly. This....is gonna be good! He thought to himself.
Once they got to the two story house, The three of them snuck in through the back. Malakai picked up a hatchet from the stove and went behind the window, who was sleeping in her chair.

Evelynne looked down at Mica and petted him. Once Malakai was done killing the widow, they went upstairs and inside was a surprise!
Inside the room, was stuffed with what looked like fifty gold bars, next to the pile sat a vanity with a small drawer. Evelynne licked her lips as she opened her satchel, and scooped all of the jewelry she can find. Malakai was on the opposite side, grabbing at the bars. Mica sniffed around for any hidden treasure. There was none, which wasn't the end of the world....seemed like they hit jackpot anyway. When he heard Evelynne gasp, he immediately rushed to her side to see what was wrong. Malakai heard her too. He ran to her side in a flash. "What is it?" The dark haired boy asked her.
Evelynne pulled out a long necklace with four long pieces of wire strapped to the end point. Immediately, she pulled out a crystal from her pouch and examined it, she then twisted the wires together until they were snug, holding the crystal in place. Malakai was fascinated by this.
"That's a neat gem, Eden!"
"Mm, my father gave it to me....it's not that special." She explained.
"Can - can I hold it?" Malakai asked her, putting his hands together as if he was expecting water. Evelynne dropped it in his hand. Suddenly, Mica could notice that Malakai's hands were twitching. Their friend giggled. "What IS this? I feel so alive!"
"Yeah, yeah.....that's because it's super shiny and it makes you feel like the king of the world..let's go before we have to kill someone else.....which I'm not really in a mood for, tonight." Evelynne demanded. Malakai looked at her in disappointment. "Do - you want this back?"
"Eh, not really worth anything to me, you can keep it." She replied.
"R -r - really? H - how - how much d - do - ?"
"No charge, just keep it. I'm not in a mood for bargaining tonight either. Let's go!" Evelynne said.
"W - w -w - wow!"
"Save you tongue." Evelynne added. They walked out of the house. Malakai was so excited to have that weird thing in his hands. He put the necklace around him.
