Hello!
It's been quite a long time since I've last touched up on Sera. And while I've since moved on to writing newer stories, part of me still really likes Sera. I wished that I had pulled things off differently with this story, because I think Sera's story could have been done a lot better.
So, I want to ask you if you would be interested in reading a re-write of Sera. And to be completely transparent, this new version of Sera will have significant differences compared to the original story. Although, I will be reusing Sera as well as a few other key characters.
My pitch for the new version of Sera is as follows:
- Sera will still remain an all powerful elder dryad (She'll still have access to a LitRPG system as well).
- Sera's goal in the re-write is NOT to destroy humanity, but to restore/revive the world.
This narrative has been purloined without the author's approval. Report any appearances on Amazon.
- This is because when Sera awakens, she'll find that most of the world is surrounded by the "Sea of Death', a constantly expanding forest filled with poisonous mist that makes it impossible for "normal" animals and plants to exist. Civilization also struggles to expand in this new world, confining people to live in smaller communities.
Obviously, I'm sure there are a lot of questions that you may have regarding this new story. For instance, I'll have to address the point of how far Sera will go in helping humanity, among many other questions. But my goal here is to make Sera more of a neutral-good protagonist rather than a neutral-evil one, if that makes sense.
