A few weeks had passed since Remilia began showing care toward Fndre. Little by little, Farted to open her heart to her. But just as their bond was beginning to form, Remilia received a summons from her father.
Remilia stood before the grand doors of her adoptive father's chamber, her hands trembling. The message summoning her had been delivered without expnation, but she knew better than to hesitate.
She pushed the doors open, and the heavy creak echoed through the vast room. The st of blood hit her instantly—thick, metallid fresh.
Her father sat on his throne-like chair, lounging fortably with a gss of blood swirling in his pale fingers. His crimson eyes gleamed with cold amusement. At his feet y a corpse, its lifeless eyes wide open in terror. One of her servants, she realized with a sick twist of her gut.
And beside him stood Fndre.
The little girl stood motionless, her head tilted slightly to the side, her golden hair covered with fresh blood. Her eyes were bnk, staring at a corpse that she kill.
The man's eyes gleamed as he watched Remilia's rea. His lips curved into a mog smile.
"Ah, Remilia," he said smoothly, his voice carrying a sickly sweetness. "I've heard all about how you've been pying the role of the g big sister. Truly heartwarming to see such affe," he sneered, his voice dripping with sarcasm as if the very idea amused him to no end.
The man took a leisurely sip from his gss, crimson smearing his lips. He let out a satisfied sigh, thehe gss down on the armrest.
"Now that I'm think about it. It's been a hundred years since I first brought you to this mansion," he mused, swirling the blood in his gss as if reminisg about a cherished memory.
The man's voice grew cold as he spoke, "I thought that if I gave you everything you wanted—a life of luxury beyond imagination, power that others would kill for, and a status that pced you above all, even a little sister to call your own—you would be satisfied. I suppose I was wrong."
He paused, his eyes narrowing, a twisted smirk f on his lips. "And now... what do I get?"
Remilia's breath hitched. She could feel the pressure of his gaze, heavy and suffog. She swallowed nervously. "I... I don't uand..."
The man's smile faded. His eyes were like ice. "Don't py dumb, Remilia. Did you think I wouldn't notice your pathetic attempts to ge my fate?"
She took a step back, her heart pounding. He knows...
"You thought you could use that power to kill me?" He rose from his chair, his form t over her. "How foolish, you ungrateful child."
Remilia's instincts screamed at her to run, to escape. She gathered her power, preparing to fight back.
But before she could act, paied in her back.
Her body crashed into the cold stone floor, held down by the weight of a crimson spear. The on radiated a sinister glow—Gungnir, the spear he rarely used, now pinnio the ground with its cold, unyielding force.
Her limbs felt numb. She tried to move, but the spear had her locked in pce. Blood pooled beh her, warm and sticky.
The man approached slowly, his footsteps eg through the silent chamber. He looked down at her, his expression one of cruel amusement.
"Tell me, why did you try to kill me?"
"You madman!" Remilia's voice trembled with fury as she gred up at him, her body pio the ground by the crimson spear. "I saw it, the future... her fate! She will die by your hand, just as you drain her of everything she is, stealing away her power and crushing her spirit. You are the one who will destroy her, and I won't let that happen."
The ma out a sharp ugh, the sound cruel and mog. "It seems I 't hide anything from you, after all." He took aep forward, his gaze darkening as he looked at her with a twisted amusement. "It seems you cared too much for that little sister of yours."
Remilia gritted her teeth, struggling against the pressure, but it was no use. She was pletely at his mercy.
"I was tent to let you live as my precious little princess," he said, his tone cold aached. "But you ruin it." He took a step closer, the tip of Gungnir gleaming ominously. "I suppose it 't be helped. I'll just have to clip your wings... just like I did with her."
His eyes narrowed, his smile widening. "Yes... that should teach you not to defy me."
He pull out the Gungnir from her back, ready to cut her wing. The air grew cold, suffog, as the spear hummed with power.
Remilia y immobilized, her body uo move as her gaze locked onto her sister one final time. Fndre... the words echoed in her mind, a deep sorrow weighing her heart. I'm so sorry.
Then, everything happe once.
A deafening explosion shattered the silence. Blood sprayed through the air, staining the floor and walls. Remilia stumbled back, her vision swimming with red.
Her father's body was bloart, torn to pieces in an instant. His blood spttered across her face, warm and sticky. She could taste the blood on her lips.
Food there, her arm outstretched, her fingers curled as if she were holding something invisible. Her eyes were wide, trembling, tears streaming down her pale cheeks.
"I... I killed him..." Fndre's voice was small, fragile, breaking as she dropped to her knees. Her tiny body shook as she stared at her blood-stained hands. "I... killed... him... I'm a bad girl."
Remilia's legs wobbled, but she forced herself to move. She stumbled forward, dropping to her knees and ing her arms around Fndre, holding her close. Her sister's body was cold, trembling violently.
"No," Remilia whispered, her voice firm despite the tears burning in her own eyes. "No, Fndre. He... He was going to kill me. You protected me. You're not a bad girl. You're... You're my little sister. You saved me."
Fndre said nothing, her small hands clutg Remilia's dress, her face buried in her sister's shoulder. She held her tighter, her fingers digging into Remilia's back, as if she were afraid to let go.
Remilia eyes drifted to the crimson spear. She released Fndre slowly and stood. Her legs wobbled, but she moved with purpose, stepping over the pool of blood to retrieve the spear. Its weight was cold and powerful.
She turned back to Fndre, her eyes softening. "Fndre, wait outside at the gate. I... I have something I o do in this mansion."
Fndre's eyes flickered with a hint of curiosity, but she said nothing. She turned and walked away, her footsteps light and silent.

Whe servant y dead at her feet, she stood amidst the age, her expression cold and unfeeling. This pce, this cursed mansion... it trapped her here. It had turned her sister into a on, a puppet.
She wouldn't allow it to stand any longer. She want to destroy this mansion with that man.
Remilia walked out of the mansion, the night air chilling her skin. Fndre waited outside, her eyes distant and hollow.

Her eyes fshed with a fiertensity, and a cold, calg smile spread across her lips. "This time, we'll be the Scarlet family. And the world will e to fear our name."
Fndre looked up at her, her eyes refleg the fmes. She didn't speak, but her fiightened around Remilia's hand.
Together, they watched the mansion burn, the fire dev their past, f their future.
Then, without another word, they turned away from the burning ruins and walked into the night, hand in hand.
