  Charles Snippy is a Eurekan citizen wandering the Dead Zone (the outer layer of the Eurekan omnistructure) for 100 million years.

  He dies pretty often and restarts his journey in 2099 at the inner edge of Eureka that's endlessly printed into existence. When he leaves the city to work as a Dead Zone Tour Guide, he unknowingly and gradually begins to descend into the infinite abyss made up from corpse worlds until he is killed by something horrible residing there. This pattern is repeated for millennia until a finds him and tries to help him break the death-loop he's stuck in.
