That next morning Izavelle explained everything that was planned for Ashlea’s future and mine. Queen Rosaleen momentarily returned to the ship and passed command of the vessel over to Izavelle. The Kingdom was now Rosaleen's; she glided into the roll smoothly with little questions asked surrounding the death of King Wolfrim, Shaylo, the guard and Sitrus. Sitrus was given total blame for the blood that had been spilled. Ashlea and I returned to Newlyn's home to carry out our work of serving the queen. Eventually, Newlyn returned to the Palace to be closer to her daughter and help her out in the new role.
As I mentioned, Izavelle had spoken to Ashlea and me like she promised that following morning, which was now a few months ago. Izavelle explained that we would forever serve the Queen. It was upsetting news at the time however looking back, it was the best news we had ever received. What it really meant was yes, we are forever to serve our Queen, but the job is that we are caretakers and guardians of Newlyn’s home, property, and its wealth. It would have been Sitrus’ job, but he is gone, and Newlyn is now residing at the Palace and little Sid is too young to care for everything on his own. Ashlea and I see Queen Rosaleen and the Queen Mother Newlyn from time to time when they visit the property. We work as hosts to them, but most of the time we are just caretakers and guardians, and it all means the same thing. This is a happy compromise for us, it is a job like any other and we do it well.

Saydira and our mother, Nafeeza have re-united with Ashlea and me. We all live here at Newlyn's home on the island. Time seems to heal and within the few months, life has returned to normal. I have my family, and this place is starting to feel like home, but on a much larger scale.
Ashlea and I have taught my mother and Saydira my favorite activity, how to fly. They have also learned how to ride horses and when we are finished our chores, all of us, including little Sid usually relax at the beach just outside of the property’s walls, or in the small town enjoying a meal at one of the quaint little restaurants.
This is my life and who I am that was forever, long ago.
