It took some time for the elves to gather up everything that they planned to take with them. After everyone was loaded up, we went south to pick up the rest of the elves. It wasn't exactly smooth sailing because of the forest being so dense. Eventually though we did manage to reach the southern edge of the forest. The elves there were understandably upset. They probably would have attacked me on sight if they didn't already have their hands full dealing with what looked to me like miniature dragons that could walk upright. Of course, my own size may be messing with my perception, but they did seem much smaller than one normally thinks of when they think of dragons. Still, they were twice the size of the elves they were fighting.
It only took a few minutes for the queen to explain who I was and why I was there. Meanwhile the elves on my back, many of whom I had just healed, hopped down to aid in the fight. The reinforcements quickly turned the tide of the battle. I even managed to get in on the action myself. Well, I tried too at least. I opened up huge chasms underneath them. Who knew those wings weren't just for show. Still, it worked out because apparently flying takes a great deal of stamina to maintain for any length of time. That would explain why they were all on foot. It would also explain why they are all sitting ... er a flying ducks while trying desperately to reach a safe spot to land. Most of them ended up running away though as they simply flew to whichever side was closest. The ones that chose to fly towards us had their numbers dramatically reduced before they even landed. Those that did manage to land didn't live long either.
I didn't receive any experience for the fight since I hadn't managed to kill any of them myself. I wasn't too concerned though because I knew that I would get a lot of experience from treating the wounded. They were skeptical at first, but they dared not question their queen. When the elves that I had previously treated explained how fast the treatment worked they began to look forward to it. To be honest I was also looking forward to it as I had gotten close to a second level up during the last round of treatments. I was all too happy to provide an earthen ramp so they could get onto my back. The length of the ramp I had to make was starting to get a bit ridiculous though. I already had to build in several turns to keep it from extending out a ridiculous distance. Which meant making a few flat sections for the corners.
Eventually though they were able to get to one of the 'clinics' to receive treatment and the experience started rolling in. Against my better judgment I decided to take the skill points again. When it was all said and done, I was happy with the results.

A few different things jump out at me right off the bat. First, it would appear that 10 is the max level for any skill. All the more reason for the warning about skill points potentially being wasted. Second it seems that the individual elements under elemental manipulation will not be listed any more unless I add points to them. Last but certainly not the least important is the new talent I seem to have acquired. The skill is called telekinesis, and what it does is allow me to manipulate objects with my mind. That alone doesn't sound very impressive and admittedly it's not. It's the size of the objects I can manipulate that is impressive. This is probably the most powerful talent I now possess. If this were a video game, I'd call it a cheat code it's so powerful. I can sense that it might even allow me to fly for a short time.
It looks like I made the right decision choosing to help Yuna's party. I'm already far higher level than I ever thought I'd get. Plus, I doubt there are any creatures my size for me to even fight. If there are they probably have hundreds of levels, and stats in the thousands possibly even tens of thousands. As for what to do now. My only immediate plan is to keep walking more or less the same direction I was going, only in a slightly more northerly angle.
Before leaving the elven forest, I grab a few of the trees. Surprisingly despite how much I've grown lately the trees still just barely fit on my back without hanging off the side. I can actually feel the weight of them. They aren't exactly heavy but at my current size the fact that I can feel their weight is a testament to their impressive size. The elves begin to use wood from the trees to construct houses with help from the humans. Not that I'm complaining because I prefer the beings riding on my shell get along, at least for now. It also doesn't hurt that those wooden houses will inevitably result in the weight from those trees being redistributed over a much wider area. Some humans are already planning the first major city which will span two kilometers in diameter to start with though even they admit that is probably a bit too ambitious for now.
Naturally the elves don't want to live in a human city Although at the rate I'm growing everyone pretty much just accepts that it won't be an issue. At least not for very long anyway.
