That…that felt so good. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I..I want her to do it again. Was that weird? Was it weird that I wanted a vampire to suck my blood? It felt good. So good.
I bit my lip at the memory as I looked at Sabrina. She was still struggling with Nia, but she eventually won and pinned her down. When she did, she looked at me. Our eyes met, and she smiled.
I quickly looked away, my face flushed as I rubbed my neck where she had bitten me. Now isn’t the time. I stood up. I need to ask Sabrina about the message I saw. What was a Successor? What was the skill Flow fully capable of, and what was the Ripple Walk ability?
The description had said it was my own unique ability. Did getting it have anything to do with becoming Sabrina’s Successor?
“I’ll kill you! How dare you pleasure him with those teeth of yours!” Nia spat as she and Sabrina continued to argue.
I wonder if my stats went up!
“I did more than that, kitty pet!” Sabrina smiled arrogantly.

“Hm?” I cocked my head.
If I had done the math correctly, my stats, from my level and stats increases, should have all been one forty, but they were one ninety. It also said I had a harem of two, which I assumed were Nia and Sabrina, with whom I had increased my bonds. It seemed that having the harem didn’t entail engaging in intimate acts but rather building an affinity with them and increasing affection.
It also looked like having them in my harem had given me a new skill: Buff of Harem. My stats being one ninety had to be due to that. That meant that I not only gained stats by increasing my affinity with girls but also by adding more to my harem, which would increase the level of the skill, thereby giving another buff to my stats.
If I learn to abuse this system, I can get stronger faster. Currently, I saw no other options, and from the increases to my stats, in order for me to be OP, I’d have to have hundreds, if not thousands, of girls in my harem. Yeah, that’s only a dream. I sighed at the thought. There was no way I’d ever be able to do that. I just had to abuse the knowledge I had to achieve greater heights, using Nia and Sabrina to grow my stats until I was at least average in my stats. Seriously… I stared at my luck stat. So high!
I closed the window to see Nia and Sabrina had stopped their bickering, and Nia was now in the center of the grounds with Erza on the other side. Sabrina had taken a spot next to me and was watching with crossed arms, waiting eagerly for the battle to begin.

“Done fawning over your stats?” Sabrina asked.
“Just my luck,” I responded.
“Did you see the skill you unlocked after becoming my Successor?”
“Actually, I did,” as we spoke, the battle between Nia and Erza started. “I have a few questions as well.”
“Go ahead.”
“What is the skill exactly?”
“You saw how fast I was moving, right?”
“…Yeah.” No.
“That’s Flow. It increases your agility stats by ten times. “
“tEn!” My voice cracked, making Sabrina chuckle. “W-What about the Successor thing?” I turned to face her, causing a spell Erza had fired off to miss me. I paid no mind to it as I continued. “Am I not a Vampire?”
“Nope.” She shook her head, swatting away a spell some flames Nia had created with Nyroc with some magic of her own. “You’re my Successor.”
“What is that?”
“Basically, my familiar.” She smiled. “You’re my underling. I’ll train you to learn to master your new skill, as well as train you in,” she licked her lips. “Other ways.” I shivered. “I also think your martial arts could use some work, especially if you don’t like to rely on your weapon except as a last resort.”
Is that what she thinks it is?
“Your stance is alright,” she continued. “But it’s lacking in many ways. I’ll help you improve that until you’re a master like me.” Her eyes met mine. My neck twitched, and she smiled as if knowing it had done it. “You want some sucky sucky?”
“Sh-Shut up!” I stuttered as I looked away. Sabrina chuckled as I collected myself. “So…as a familiar, will you eventually turn me into a vampire?” I asked.
“I will. But only after you prove yourself worthy of that power. I can’t just turn you off the bat like that. It’s happened once before, by another vampire…” Her eyes glazed. “It was a mistake to turn him. Thankfully, it wasn’t my Successor, but all of us vampires had to work together to take him down because of her mistake.”
“Her?”
“It doesn’t matter.” She sighed. “All that matters is that you need to get stronger.” She crossed her arms and looked at me again. “We can only ever have one Successor in our life, so don’t make me regret choosing you.”
“Only one?” My eyes widened. “And you…chose me of all people?” I immediately felt remorse and regret. “Why would you do that!?” I shouted. “Why would you waste that on me?”
I’m not worthy. I’m not strong enough, and no training will ever help me achieve the power she believes me to have.
“You think you’re not worthy?” Sabrina’s eyes filled with sympathy. “Why is that?”
“Because I told you, I’m not strong! I’m just lucky!”
“Don’t be so hum-“
“I’m serious!” I stepped forward as a fireball crashed into the ground where I once stood. “I’m only lucky!”
“Prove it.”
“How?”
“You should have an ID that shows your stats. Everyone gets it at birth. It’s how adventurers show other parties they aren’t lying about their stats. Show me.” She extended her hand out.
“Hngh!” I didn’t have one of those. “Er…y-yeah. Let me just…” I patted my pockets.
Eh? I felt something in my back pocket and pulled it out. Sure enough, it was an ID that looked like my stat menu, except it didn’t say my skills. “Er…” I hesitated to hand it to her. “Actually, I’m just jok-HEY!” She quickly snatched it and eyed it over.
Her eyes widened.
I’m screwed.
