1.The Mysterious Man

As the sun began to set over the majestic mountain, casting a warm glow across the landscape, a mysterious man emerged onto the streets of Britain. His presence immediately caught the attention of passersby, who were amazed by his peculiar appearance. Cloaked in a flowing robe resembling those worn by church vicars, his attire was unlike anything they had ever seen. The front of his robe was left open, trailing along the ground as he walked with an air of confidence. However, what truly captivated their gaze was the gleaming coat of armor adorning his body, its crystalline texture reflecting the sunlight.

"Mum, is there a comic con tonight? I want to be Spider-Man," a young boy asked his mother, staring at the stranger in wonder.

The man's outfit radiated an aura of mystery, yet he seemed oblivious to the curious stares around him. A cowboy hat sat atop his head, partially concealing a striking copper-and-white beard that flowed down his face. His sharp blue eyes gleamed with energy and purpose, though he avoided making eye contact with anyone nearby.

Undeterred by the attention he had drawn, the mysterious man made his way into an apartment building. Onlookers watched in astonishment as he entered one of the doors. Without bothering to switch on any lights, he navigated through the darkness toward a room. His blue eyes blinked more than usual as they adjusted to the dim surroundings. Scanning the space, his gaze locked onto a bed frame.

Without hesitation, he walked over and effortlessly lifted the heavy bed frame with a single hand. A small, blinking white object, resembling a drinking mug, lay hidden beneath it. Carefully, he touched the object in a specific pattern with his ring finger.

Suddenly, the ground beneath him tore apart, revealing a hidden chamber shrouded in darkness. Without a moment’s hesitation, the man leaped into the abyss below.

As soon as his feet touched the floor of the underground room, lights flickered to life on their own. The space was a mysterious, mirror-filled chamber, shaped like a giant Rubik’s Cube. The walls seemed to distort reality itself.

He approached one of the mirrors with deliberate steps and lightly tapped it with his gleaming ring. In an instant, the mirror rippled and morphed, transforming into a cascading waterfall. Without hesitation, he stepped through the ethereal veil.

A breathtaking palace-like hall unfolded before him. The moment he emerged, the waterfall instantly turned blue and reverted to its original mirror form—without a single drop of water remaining where he had passed.

Inside the grand hall, many people were dressed in attire similar to the mysterious figure. As soon as they saw him, they looked upon him with respect, as if expecting an important announcement. Without saying a word, he acknowledged their presence and walked toward a secluded room.

As he departed, the hopeful expressions on the faces of those in the hall slowly faded. They understood his mood.

A young man, appearing to be in his twenties, stood before a massive holographic screen, monitoring various cities: Munich, Berlin, Miami, Philadelphia, London, Delhi, Kerala, and more. He wore a black robe and armor accented with golden stripes, holding a small black-and-gold spear-like object in his hand. His long golden hair flowed as if mirroring his enthusiasm, floating gracefully as he moved. His sharp eyes scanned the screen, widening when he spotted something significant.

He zoomed in on the street view using the spear-like object. But before he could analyze further, the sound of a large door creaking open broke his concentration.

The mysterious man entered the room, his footsteps echoing.

"Good evening, Perado," the young man greeted with a smile, still focused on the screen.

Perado remained silent, his face clouded with disappointment.

Noticing his expression, the young man, Terranus, turned around and asked respectfully, "What troubles you, our mighty Perado? Still no sign of Karna, I take it?"

Perado shook his head. Sighing, he reached up and touched the cowboy hat on his head, which faded into nothingness—revealing the depth of his frustration.

"Don't lose hope, Mr. Perado. We're still in this, and I've got a—"

Before Terranus could finish, a sharp female voice interrupted.

"Have we not been searching for Karna on Earth for over ten years? Is it even worth continuing here? We should be looking at other planets as well."

It was Hera, Terranus' elder sister. She wore a white robe with golden stripes, similar to Perado's, and had striking blue eyes that matched with Perado's . Beautiful yet muscular, she had the physique of a seasoned warrior. Her short, boyish golden hair only added to her commanding presence. She looked to be in her thirties.

Terranus bowed his head in respect. "Good to see you, my dear sister."

Hera smiled warmly at him before turning her gaze back to Perado. Her tone sharpened as she repeated, "Time is running out, Perado. We need to expand our search for Karna to other planets. We've wasted enough time here."

Perado met her gaze firmly. "We can't. Searching other planets would be a complete waste. Karna is here."

Hera didn’t waver. "Then why haven’t we found him? I think the Black Division might have given us faulty information."

Perado's voice was calm but unwavering. "Our magic doesn’t lie, and the Black Division was not misled."

Terranus remained silent, knowing his sister too well—she never backed down from an argument until she proved her point. But he also knew Perado was right.

Hera’s tone softened slightly. "It's not about right or wrong, Perado. The longer we delay, the more of our kind are in danger. Demons are here on Earth, hunting us. It won't be long before the magical dimensions fall into their grasp."

Perado took a deep breath before responding, "I know you're worried, Hera. But if we can't find Karna here, we won’t find him anywhere in the universe. Without reactivating the power of Zeo Matter, we won’t be strong enough to win this fight. Only Karna can do that. He’s the key—the best of us. It’s our responsibility to find him."

Hera’s expression remained tense. "You better be right, Perado. Otherwise, the blood of our people will be on your hands."

"Trust me, Hera. All I need is a solid lead. And I have one," Terranus interjected, meeting Perado's confident gaze.

"I'm not following your leads anymore, Terranus. The last one was a random boy selling drugs," Perado said, shaking his head.

"Trust me, this one's different. The timing and circumstances match perfectly. This time, I’ll accompany you," Terranus insisted.

"No way. It’s dangerous," Hera objected.

"Terranus, I'll handle it. Just tell me the details," Perado said.

"I’m coming too. Karna was my friend," Terranus declared stubbornly.

"Terranus, don’t be reckless. There are demons out there," Hera warned.

"You think I can't face demons just because I'm in the Black Division? Come on, sister, I’ve fought them before. And I have a strong feeling this is the guy we’re looking for."

Hera sighed, recognizing her brother’s stubbornness. "Fine. But promise me you’ll stay out of danger and won’t act impatiently."

Terranus smiled and nodded. Hera had no choice but to let him go.
