  Daichi was watg everything from the er of the room. His eyes wide the brutality dispyed in front of him and even more at the person itting the deed. Daichi couldn't believe what he was seeing.

  The masked Uchiha brutally and effitly killed the Uchiha couple in seds before they could do anything.

  As if feeling the death of her parents, at that moment baby Reo woke up and started to cry. But being uhe effects of the cloak no sound was heard by aher than Daichi.

  He tried to calm the baby down while he himself was going through several emotions. His gamer's mind helped him a great deal in staying focused oask.

  Daichi held Reo tightly in his arms. "It's ok. I'm here… Don't cry. Everything is going to be alright."

  Daichi was about to leave but then stopped as he saw Obito do something ued.

  The masked Uchiha took out two tainers and quickly plucked the eyes of Ren and Kimiko Uchiha. "The eyes are always fresh even when plucked right after death." He said looking at the dead couple.

  Once he pleted his task he left the house for his argets.

  Daichi quietly knocked on the door several times.

  "I'm ing." The voice of the matron was heard from ihe room. After several seds the door opened and Matron Aiko was shocked to see Daichi standing there holding a baby.

  "Daichi?.. What are you…"

  Daichi quickly interrupted her aered the room. He closed the door behind him. "I'll expihing."

  "What are you doing here? And who is that? What's going on.?" Aiko was shocked at what was happening.

  "Ok in order. I'm here because I need your help. And this is Reo Uchiha and Itachi is killing the Uchiha ." Daichi said with a straight fabsp;

  Aiko stood still as she processed what she just heard. "What? I'm going to need you to expin."

  Daichi sighed. He already had in mind what he would say to her.

  "I was training my shurikenjutsu in the woods he Uchiha pound after csses were over. After I was done and on my way home, when I got he pound I heard a otion. I went to take a look and saw a dead body. It looked like he died a minute or two before I got there. I went to call for the Uchiha police force but on my way I saw several more bodies in the pound." Daichi stopped and looked at the shocked face of the matron.

  "What?... I 't believe Itachi would… Diachi!! We o alert the Hokage." Aiko turned around as if to get ready to leave but Daichi stopped her.

  "You 't! You 't tell anyone." Aiko, hearing the boy's words, turned around.

  "Daichi, this isn't a small matter. If Itachi is killing the people of the then we o alert the Hokage. And why are you so sure it was Itachi?"

  "I saw Itachi kill my friends. It was him. And you 't tell anyone. You o trust me."

  "Daichi, this isn't a game. I o alert the Hokage. You stay here with that baby and once I inform the hokage-"

  "I think someone high up in the vilge is helping Itachi kill the ."

  Aiko stood still as she heard the words. "What did you say?"

  "Look. You o listen to me. Please. Otherwise there is a good ce Reo here will die." At this moment he used his Mana puppetry skill on her.

  Aiko k and hugged Daichi. "Oh Daichi. I'm so sorry you had to gh that."

  She then looked at the baby and took Reo into her arms. She asked, looking at the baby. "Why do you think someone is helping Itachi kill the ?"

  "On my way here I didn't see any ninja he pound. It was as if the whole area surrounding the pound was deserted… I thought about it a lot on my way here. I'm supposed to believe that one person is strong enough to kill aire ? And that too without anyone knowing about it? I think someone high up was helping Itachi kill the ."

  "Daichi, that doesn't make any seachi killing them doesn't mean someone from the vilge helped him. We o speak with the Hokage. We o save those people who might still be alive while we still have time." Aiko looked at the boy.

  "It's probably too te. It took me over 30 mio reach here. Itachi has probably killed everyone. Going to the Hokage won't ge anything."

  Daichi looked at her and used Mana puppetry.

  'Let's hear what he has to say. Once he's done expining then we decide whether to go to the Hokage or not.'

  Daichi's smile vanished as he heard her question. 'She's smart.'

  "If you wao trust what you're saying then you o tell me the truth." Aiko told the boy.

  Having no choice, Daichi activated the ability of the cloak.

  Aiko was shocked that Daichi just vanished in front of her. She quickly used chakra to sehe boy and even then couldn't find him. A sed ter Daichi reappeared.

  "How?" Aiko was shocked he could do something like that.

  Daichi held the cloak and answered. "Gramps gave this to me a few months ago. Told me if I was in any life threatening dahen I should use this. It only be used a few times."

  "I see…" Aiko couldn't believe something like this was in Kensei's possession. 'If that could help him vanish from the sehen he could easily have gotten out.'

  "But ohing still doesn't make sense. Why do you think someone in the vilge helped Itachi do something like this? What would they gain from this?" Aiko asked.

  "I don't know. But whoever helped him has some serious resources and power. My guess would be someone high up he Hokage." Daichi was careful with his words.

  "You don't know that." Aiko said to the boy but doubt was beginning to form in her mind.

  "True. I don't know for sure. But in a vilge full of people who see through walls, smell blood a mile away and have powerful sensors, you expect me to believe that none of them saw or even sehat a was being killed? Are you telling me our vilge is that defenseless?" Daichi had a stony expression on his face as he spoke the words.

  Aiko thought about Daichi's words. 'Is that even possible? Could it be true that someone…'

  Daichi saw that Aiko was having an internal debate. Not taking any ces, he used the Mana puppetry skill on her again.

  'Danzo Shimura. He could do something like this…'

  Daichi wao make sure Aiko kept everything that happened here a secret. So he gave her a possible suspebsp;

  That thought took root in her mind and it shook her. 'Is it possible? I know he's dangerous but… Would he really kill aire ?'

  She then looked at the boy. "Daichi, whatever the case is, we o tell the Hokage about her and this theory. If there is a traitor within the vilge itting something horrible like this, then he o know."

  Daichi, hearing her, vehemently shook his head. "You absolutely 't. If Itachi or the person who helped him finds out she's alive then they will e for her. And then possibly me for saving her. And maybe even you."

  Aiko was taken aback by Daichi's words. She looked at the baby sleeping in her arms.

  Daichi used the puppetry skill one more time.

  'Trust him. Keep this a secret for now. It's best for everyone.'

  Daichi waited several seds and then saw Aiko sigh.

  Skill Mana Puppetry's level has risen by one.

  Aiko looked at the boy. "Fine. I'll keep what happened here a secret. But… I o speak with Kensei first thing in the m."

  "Gramps isn't here in the vilge. He went to the capital to meet his old friend. He'll only be ba a few days." Daichi said, looking at her.

  Aiko sighed, hearing the kid. "Alright… The moment he es home you send him my way. I'll keep what happened here quiet but I'll o have a word with Kensei."

  Daiodded his head. "Thank you."

  Aiko then took the baby in her arms to her bed while Daichi opened his quest list. He looked at the rescue quest that was still ongoing.

  Daichi was fused. 'I saved Reo. So why isn't the quest marked as pleted?'
