Ch 233: Lessons in Domination.

  Ayato_kanzaki

Misaki took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

  It opened.

"Come in." said Akeno, and Misaki entered without hesitation.

She saw Akeno standing to the side near the desk, wearing a blue bathrobe.

"Are you still willing to proceed? Once we start, we will not stop until your instruction is complete." smiled Akeno.

"I am still willing." nodded Misaki.

"As expected of you. You are quite a determined and interesting young dy, Misaki."

Akeno put the already fully charged Sanctuary on her desk and teleported them inside, in the main bedroom of the house.

"Misaki, until your training is complete, you are only allowed to refer to me as Akeno-sama or Mistress." said Akeno, dropping the bathrobe and revealing what she wore underneath, a bck leather bustier, and tight bck leather pants.

She smiled at Misaki, and the tter inhaled sharply as Akeno's aura suddenly changed. The kind senpai now looked more confident and alluring.

Misaki gulped, feeling a little intimidated.

"The choice of outfit is important, both for the trainer and the trainee. The trainer dresses up in a sexy, but also slightly intimidating outfit. And the submissive in training will often be made to wear a fetish outfit and look at her own appearance in the mirror. A tex maid uniform, for example, will generally make the trainee feel more submissive than simply being naked would."

"I understand, Akeno-sama. Setting up a scene and atmosphere is important." said Misaki.

"Exactly. There is something I didn't ask you, Misaki. Do you want me to teach you how to please Noah, how to train others, or both?"

  "Both, Akeno-sama."

"Good answer. Being a competent trainer is somewhat necessary if you wish to climb the ranks." said Akeno, starting to remove Misaki's uniform.

"When you train someone, you first need to consider a few things. Do you want a quick result, as if you are pressed for time? Or do you want to do it slowly, for the challenge, or simply because you enjoy the process?"

"The second thing is the degree of awareness of the subject. Is she fully aware or what being part of Noah's faction implies? Is she someone you tricked? Or is she an enemy you are going to convert into an ally? The training method will be vastly different according to the situation."

Misaki nodded as Akeno removed her vest and shirt, revealing her light blue bra, and Akeno slowly unzipped her skirt.

"If the subject is willing, like, as an example, yourself, a good dominant will start with gentle love and slowly introduce the subject to light bondage and fetish outfits over the course of a few weeks. That is what you will experience, mostly."

  "Yes, Akeno-sama." blushed Misaki.

"Good girl." smiled Akeno, dropping the skirt and removing Misaki's shoes.

"I will still make you experience two days of the kind of training reluctant girls get, and two more days of a light version of what Noah calls the 'Bad Girl Protocol'. You need to know what it is like. Good dominatrixes know both sides of the crop."

Misaki nodded again, and Akeno turned her around before she unhooked her bra.

"Where was I? For the girls tricked into training, you need to keep them restrained constantly, to drive home the point that you are the one making the decisions. Your goal is for her to learn to enjoy submission. That means giving her a lot of pleasure while she is held helpless. Gestures of affection matter a lot, when you give the subject a shower, feed her, and so on. Call her a good girl when she demonstrates obedience, then eagerness, and never go overboard with punishments when the subject is rebellious. You win over people with pleasure and affection, not pain and fear."

"Yes, Akeno-sama." nodded Misaki. "That is how I formed my clique, after all."

  "With pleasure?" asked Akeno, smiling.

"No, I mean with affection and helping them with their issues."

"Yes. Hands behind your back, Misaki."

Misaki looked down for a moment at the pair of bck leather cuffs in Akeno's hand and took a deep breath as she obeyed. She felt the soft leather being wrapped around her right wrist.

"By the way, if the girl possesses any supernatural ability, make sure to put a Stop Rune on her, even if there is no chance of them using it to harm you or free themselves. It adds to her feeling of helplessness."

Misaki felt Akeno's finger on her nape, drawing something. She didn't feel any different as Akeno was immune to her power anyway, but the simple knowledge that her ability was sealed indeed made her feel more vulnerable.

Akeno dropped her panties, and she had Misaki naked, aside from the cuffs around her wrists. She felt Akeno's arms around her. Her hands drawing random patterns on her skin with her delicate touch. It was surprisingly pleasant, and she could feel her body starting to heat up.

"I am going to tell you something very important, Misaki, so remember it well. The most important quality a good trainer must possess is observation. Can you tell me why?"

"…To avoid pushing the trainee too far, Akeno-sama?" guessed Misaki after she took the time to think about it.

"That is the main reason, yes, The trainer must adapt the training according to how the trainee reacts to it. But isn't limited to just that. It also serves to find out the trainee's weak spots, to become aware that there is something going wrong as soon as possible, and to know how much stimution the trainee can take before she would orgasm. Edging and denial are powerful tools, as you will experience another day. But for now, I will take you to bed."

Misaki let herself be led to the rge bed, and Akeno pushed her down.

Akeno towered over her, and with her left hand, kneaded Misaki's right breast. Misaki gasped, and Akeno used the opportunity to kiss her.

  …

Noah was browsing the internet, reading the headlines from both worlds under his supervision. He would need to set up his own way to gather information soon. He depended too much on the Japanese government already, and that opened him up to manipution.

His ability to detect lies would rgely protect him from deliberate misinformation, but people were all biased to some extent, and that could color their reporting even if they didn't mean to.

Things would be better when all politicians were regurly interviewed to make sure they weren't corrupt, but organizing that took time even in the SAO world where his authority was undeniable.

The door of the media room opened, and Aria entered.

  "Hey, Noah."

  "Hi, Aria. How are you?"

"Fine. Sumeragi just finalized the pn. We'll be operating by pairs for the offensive, and you're with Hina."

Aria gave him a datapad with the itinerary of each pair, and Noah tinkered with it, checking his own proposed route and the locations. By zooming on one of them, he could even see an estimation of the number and type of A-Laws military assets present.

"Sixteen bases in Europe, and less than two days to trash them all? Hina and I are going to be busy." said Noah.

"Yeah." nodded Aria. "I have fourteen myself in western Russia. I'll be with Shino in Middle-East, and Saki and Akira will operate in northern Africa."

"Aria, have you visited the Lycoris Recoil world recently? Are things going well over there?"

"Define 'going well'." sighed Aria. "The best I can say is that it is business as usual. There are still wars and hunger and other bad stuff going on. Majima and his crew are in hiding. They're waiting for us to start ying down the w, like you did for the SOA world."

"As soon as we put an end to the A-Laws, I want some of the Sisters, and maybe others as well, to start visiting hospitals for a week or two. Once we have established our reputation as superhumans, we'll start visiting the heads of state and tell them where they stand in the new pecking order."

"Some of them will try to kill us." nodded Aria.

"Yes. They will try, and they will fail. And we will remove them from the picture."

Aria nodded, having no qualms about it. When she started on her first world, she had agreed with Chisato and tried to avoid killing even criminals. The war in the Gundam 00 world and Takina's loss had made her a lot less inclined to give second chances to vilins.

  …

"And please, do not come back with three dozen people this time." sighed Olga-Marie. "There's a limit to how many people we can cram in Chaldea, even with converting the storage space. We're quickly running out of free rooms."

"It'll be fine, director!" chuckled Chisato. "Most people won't really mind if we have to share our rooms. And eventually, they won't mind sharing beds!"

  "You're impossible! Just go away."

"That's the pn. See you ter, Director." smiled Takina.

"Good luck, you two." smiled Olga-Marie, letting her angry mask slip for a moment. She was actually very fond of the serious Takina, who reminded her of herself, and no one could resist Chisato's explosive charm.

"Yes! We'll be back as soon as we can! And we'll call regurly." grinned Chisato.

The Rayshift device spun up, and with a fsh, they were gone.

  …

For some strange reason, Chisato and Takina appeared far, far above ground, and they fell.

"Whoa!" ughed Chisato as they both spread their arms and legs to stabilize their descent.

They could see the ground easily due to their night vision. They were falling toward a port city, and a pretty rge one. The presence of street lightning suggested at least some degree of technological advancement, and while they were still several kilometers up, Chisato noticed high rise buildings near the city's center.

"Chisato, let's fly!" suggested Takina, using Hard Light Arsenal to create a body harness around her, and two delta wings attached to it. Chisato gave a thumbs up and followed suit. It took them a bit of fiddling to get a stable configuration, but they were now gliding on a curving trajectory instead of falling.

"Chisato? do you see those military helicopters?" asked Takina as she pointed In a direction.

Three military transports were approaching from the opposite side of the city, headed in their general direction. They weren't hearing their propellers because of the noise from them gliding without ear protection.

"That was fast! We've only been there for about three minutes!"

"They aren't here for us, Chisato. They would have sent attack helicopters or fighter pnes to check on two UFOs!"

"That's right, we're UFOs right now! So we should look the part!" ughed Chisato.

Chisato used Item Creation to make herself a helmet that looked like the imitation of an almond-shaped head, with gray skin and rge bck eyes.

"Stop joking around, Chisato. First contact is important! You'll get us shot at!" chided Takina.

Chisato ughed again, but pced the helmet into her inventory. She never intended to go through with it in the first pce. She simply wanted to tease Takina.

The three transport helicopters had nded in the narrow clearing between the port and the city, and eight to ten people debarked from each. They quickly ran and took positions around the main docks.

"Let's observe the situation first, Chisato." suggested Takina. She inclined her wings upward to kill her speed and regain a bit of altitude, then created light footholds to stand in the air.

Chisato did the same and jumped from one temporary foothold to another to stand near Takina.

"They don't look like they noticed us." said Chisato.

"Yeah. We were pretty high up, so if they didn't think to lift their heads… They seem to be expecting an attack coming from the sea. But their weapons are strange for a modern world…"

Chisato nodded. The soldiers deployed around the dock were… peculiar. They were all young, and their uniforms were gender-based. The boys wore gray ballistic chest armor over a uniform consisting of a beige bzer and dark blue trousers, while the women wore what looked like school uniforms using two different color themes.

And while the boys didn't seem to carry any weapons, half of the girls had somehow materialized cold weapons of various shapes, from bded tonfas to spears.

"Hum? There's something moving under the water's surface. Something big." said Takina, pointing with a finger.

"Could it be their local equivalent of Godzil? No, there's three of those. Should we intervene?"

"Let's just watch for now. we still do not know anything. It would be terrible if we were misled by appearances and killed the good guys."

The three giant shapes got closer to the dock and broke the water's surface, and the women who had not yet materialized weapons chose that moment to do so. Moreover, some of them had their uniforms repced by some kind of close-fitting armor, made of a material that looked half pstic, half metal, and making them look like futuristic versions of medieval knights. Female knights, as they all had boob armor.

Only about a third of the women had transformed, however.

"How cool!" grinned Chisato. "They look like sentai heroes."

"Yes. I wonder how strong they are, and how the men are going to contribute to the fight. Get ready, they wouldn't deploy two dozen fighters if those things weren't dangerous."

Chisato nodded, looking at the three beings who had reached the dock, floating a meter above the concrete. They were massive, easily thirty meters tall, and despite having a head looking like a woman with the upper half of their face hidden by a massive headwear, they were not humanoid. instead of two legs, they had a single thick appendage from which two massive, curved bdes rose up, looking vaguely like a ship's anchor.

Instead of shoulders and arms, they had massive spaulders, from which hung curved bdes almost reaching the ground, six per being.

The fight started when the boys pointed their hands at the three beings and the girls sprang into action, running toward the giants. Some used the dock's cranes and containers as footholds and made mighty jumps that would allow them to reach the three beings' upper body.

The giant things moved the bdes hanging from their shoulders, extending them and bending them to attack the nearest humans, who used their weapons to deflect the attacks, but this caused them to be forced back, with only one armored girl reaching the chest of one of the things. She sshed with her heavy sword, causing some superficial damage.

"Whatever the boys are doing doesn't seem very effective." frowned Takina. "And the girls are pretty good, but it looks like they could use the help."

As she said it, one or the non-armored girls failed to parry a blow and colpsed, screaming, her left arm severed below the shoulder.

The nearest girl ran to her and grabbed her, just in time to avoid a second attack, carrying her to the backline with surprising speed.

"I'm taking the center one." nodded Chisato, diving headfirst.

Takina nodded, creating another foothold. This time, she didn't use it to keep herself in the air, but kicked on it to accelerate her descent.

  …

Ticy cursed under her breath when Trish lost an arm. S-type Novas were powerful opponents when they were alone, and with three of them together, injuries and even fatalities were to be expected. That didn't make seeing her juniors being injured any easier.

If only Chiffon and Elizabeth could have been present. Chiffon alone would have been able to take on a S-type, and made it look easy. But they had both been away on a conference with other Presidents and Vice-Presidents, and so the responsibility for dealing with those Novas had fallen upon her shoulders.

Her thoughts were interrupted when the Novas she had damaged decided she was a priority target and used three of its appendages to attack her from different angles, trying to cut off her possibility to dodge.

Ticy used Double-Accel to evade them and kicked on one of them to propel herself upward, sshing again at the Nova's front armor. Her sword strike shattered some of it, but she would need a few more blows to expose its core.

She used her sword to deflect another attack, pushing against the appendage at an angle to reach the ground faster, as Pandoras were at their most vulnerable when they were mid-air.

She then used Double-Accel again to jump away, putting some distance between herself and the Nova to check on how the others were doing while Audrey and Ingrid took turns trying to expand on the damage Ticy had caused.

A scream came from her right. One of the second-year Pandoras from East Genetic, whose name she didn't know, had taken a hit on her right hip, and the wound looked pretty bad.

Two more Pandoras were trying to distract the Nova while another evacuated the wounded.

Audrey deflected a mid-air strike from the Nova, but the impact broke her posture and caused her to miss her nding, hitting the ground on her back. That was a mistake the Nova wasn't going to let go unpunished, and Ticy gritted her teeth as she went all out, using Quad-Accel to position herself in front of Audrey, angling her sword to try to deflect the incoming strikes… that never came.

She looked above the Nova, her eyes widening in surprise as the it was struck from above by a series of thin beams of blue light, powerful enough to damage its armor. Ticy saw a blonde-haired girl open fire again with a rge handgun, then the gun disappeared, only to be repced by a huge golden sword.

The Nova struck upward with its appendages, but the girl somehow managed to change her trajectory mid-air, evading them, and drove her giant bde through the Nova's head. The golden sword struck deep, continuing down the Nova's body while the girl reversed her posture and nded crouching on the Nova's head.

The giant sword must have reached the core, as the Nova suddenly stopped moving. It fell and shattered, the stone-like matter constituting its body having lost its flexibility with the core's destruction.

Before Ticy could get over her shock and ask who the girl was, she was already jumping away toward another Nova, accelerating in the air as if she could walk on it.

Sounds of detonations came from her right, and Ticy saw another girl, a brunette, deliver bsts of some king of bck and red energy as she also evaded the S-type's appendages while being mid-air. She didn't know what kind of ability it was, but it certainly was effective, as the repeated hits were gradually shattering the Nova's head and spaulders. Then the bck-haired girl stopped firing for two seconds, her right arm glowing blue, before sending a much rger bst, and the Nova's entire torso shattered, core and all.

That girl also didn't waste time before going after the third Nova, who didn't fare any better.

In mere seconds, three S-css Novas had been destroyed.

With a small sigh, Ticy walked to them, deactivating her Pandora mode and letting her clothes return to her normal uniform. She kept her Volt weapon materialized but held in a non-threatening manner. She still hadn't gotten over her shy nature, and she really regretted that Chiffon or Elisabeth were not here to take over. Diplomacy was their specialty.

"Hi there!" excimed the blonde one with a friendly smile. "We saw you had some trouble, so we decided to give you a hand. I hope you don't mind."

"Ah, no. Your help was… very welcome. I am Ticy Phenyl, of West Genetics, in command of this detachment."

"I am Chisato Nishikigi. And my partner is Takina Inoue. It is nice to meet you." grinned the blonde girl.

"How did you fight like this? Your abilities do not look like Pandora skills."

"Pandora? I assume that is how you name the source of your powers?" asked Takina.

"Huh?" blurted out Ticy, confused. How could they ignore the meaning of the word? It was like a modern-day person calling a boat a car.

"We come from a parallel Earth in another dimension, one that doesn't have those stony… things, whatever you call them. So please forgive us if we aren't aware of some things that would seem obvious to you." shrugged Takina.

Ticy felt like she was quickly losing contact with reality. A parallel Earth? It was preposterous. But she also didn't have any evidence to refute their cims, and she didn't really want to. This matter was clearly above her paygrade, and what she wanted most right now was to avoid any unnecessary trouble until the higher-ups stepped in.

"Anyway, first things first." cut in Chisato. "Do you mind if we check on your wounded? We should be able to heal them. We can talk ter."

"…Please do." nodded Ticy, gesturing to the side, and the Pandoras beside them freed a passage toward the spot were Trish and the other girl were ying, other pandoras and their Limiters doing what little they could to stabilize the wounds.

The helicopters were already coming back, and one of them had a team of first responders. Pandoras could regrow missing limbs, although that would take days, but the wound of that East Genetics girl was possibly life-threatening. She already had lost a lot of blood. If those two girls said they could heal her, after dispying abilities she didn't know existed, it would be worth trying.

The two girls walked over to the wounded, knelt beside them, and a blue glow surrounded their hands.

The wound on the East Genetic's girl stopped oozing blood and started to close at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Trish's arm, with her Limiter holding against the wound in the hope that her Pandora abilities would rejoin the severed limb to her flesh, was reattached. In mere seconds, it was as if she had never been injured in the first pce, and she flexed her hand in wonder.

  "There, all done." smiled Chisato.

"H-How did you do this?" blurted out Miyabi, standing on Ticy's right.

Ticy felt numb. A weapon that fired beams able to damage a Nova, where all conventional weapons from the military failed, she could easily accept. Bsts of bck energy and walking in the air, she could swallow. After all, she herself was able to skirt the speed of sound with Double Accel, and she could go twice as fast with Quad Accel, although the strain on her body was intense.

But healing serious injuries in mere seconds? That was ludicrous. It would take… nanites! That was the answer, surely. They must have spread a cloud of invisible nanites over the wounds. It must be very advanced tech as well, to produce such results so fast.

"We used magic!" grinned Chisato, and Ticy sighed in defeat.

  …

Forty minutes ter, Chisato and Takina were escorted down a hallway by Ticy and three other Pandoras.

They had talked on the way in, and both Chisato and Takina had gotten a basic understanding of this world. The local year was 2063, and since 2012, Humanity has suffered sporadic attacks from beings they named Novas, due to their extremely destructive behavior. They targeted human cities, and if they weren't quickly defeated, self-destructed, causing a detonation in the low kilotons range.

A genius researcher called Gengo Aoi created the first Pandoras, impnting into young women some crystal-like gems called Stigmata that gave them supernatural powers. The most basic of those being enhanced healing capabilities and the ability to materialize Volt weapons, and Volt textures, their uniforms. And for those among them who were skilled enough, the ability to use what they called Pandora mode, some kind of armor further enhancing their abilities.

But the Pandoras weren't clear on how the Stigmata had been created in the first pce. This information was highly confidential.

The young men who had accompanied the Pandoras in battle were called Limiters. They were paired with Pandoras after they did some kind of ritual together, with the Pandora removing one of her matured Stigmata off her back and impnting it on the man's back.

This gave the man the ability to make their Pandora immune to the Freezing field surrounding the Nova. Without it, they would have been paralyzed when the Nova came close.

The Limiters could also emit a Freezing field of their own, but its effect was typically limited to a single target, its range was limited, and powerful pandoras could rgely ignore it.

A trans-national organization called 'Chevaliers' ruled over the Pandoras, managing their deployments and financing several battle academies where Pandoras learned to how to use their abilities and fight, as well as received some basic general education.

West Genetics, where they were now, was one such battle academy.

Ticy knocked on the heavy oak door, and after receiving permission, opened it, ushering Chisato and Takina inside.

Standing near the desk was a woman in her early thirties, with shoulder-length bck hair and eyes, wearing a bck business suit with a skirt.

"Please take a seat." said the Headmistress, standing and gesturing to the chairs in front of her desk. "I am Margaret Lindman, in charge of West Genetics."

"Hi. I am Chisato Nishikigi." smiled Chisato.

"My name is Takina Inoue. It is nice to meet you." nodded Takina with a polite smile.

"The pleasure is mine." nodded Margaret. "And I wish to thank you for the role you pyed earlier. Without your timely intervention, it is likely that some of my students wouldn't have returned."

"We only did what our Goddess expects of us." smiled Takina. "It was no coincidence that we entered your world in this pce and time."

  "Your Goddess?"

"Her name is Lilith." nodded Chisato. "We are some of her agents."

"…Did she sent you to help us fight the Novas?" asked the Headmistress, not believing in any deity's existence, but also not wanting to risk insulting her guests by openly doubting their beliefs.

"No." replied Chisato, shaking her head. "The existence of Novas is something we learned just after entering this world. We intend to help you fight them until the time comes for us to go to the next world, but we are after a bigger fish, hiding somewhere in this world. When we find that thing, I hope you will assist us with transportation."

"A bigger fish than a Nova?" frowned Margaret.

"Headmistress, are you familiar with the legend of Solomon and his 72 Demons?" asked Takina.

"I heard about it, but maybe not in the greatest details."

"Those 72 demons actually exist in at least several Earths, and in one of them in particur, they decided to wipe out humanity on as many worlds as they could. Some nonsense about humanity being hopelessly corrupt and wanting to burn it all to start again. Although they aren't all that wrong about the corruption part."

"One of them is in this dimension." continued Takina. "We have allies who are working to locate it, and we expect to find it within a few months at most. Our teams already killed about fifteen of them on as many parallel Earths. But aside from availing us to the convenience of modern transportation, this isn't something you can help us with."

"Yes, air transport is so great!" grinned Chisato. "Even now, another team is still on its way to their target despite finding about its location over a week ago, because they still have nothing better than horses for transportation over there."

"This Solomon Demon, what does he look like? Maybe we can help you find it." frowned Margeret.

"Maybe." said Takina. "All those we saw before were pilrs of flesh tapering to a point, like a straight, vertical tentacle, and about 150 meters in height, twenty meters in diameter at the base. Dozens of huge eyes cover their surface, and each eye is able to cast offensive magic. They are extremely hostile to humans for the reason I mentioned. And they use magic to surround themselves with a dome offering them optical camoufge."

"It is hiding somewhere, maybe an isoted valley, maybe a desert. Another team killed one that was hiding in the bottom of a ke. But they can't completely hide their magic signature, and our colleagues will eventually give us its location."

"I do not see why offering you transportation would be an issue, as long as you do not ask to reach a forbidden area, and I will pass the word to my superiors about an invisible pilr of flesh." cautiously said Margaret.

"Thank you. We appreciate it. And until then, we do not mind…" Chisato's words trailed off suddenly, and her eyes became gssy for a few seconds.

"Chisato?" asked Takina, but Chisato simply gestured for her to wait.

After a few seconds, she grinned.

"Takina, Lilith-sama just gave us a quest! We need to enlist in West Genetics and recruit at least ten people from this world to become her Agents. And those we recruit need to be either Pandoras, E-Pandoras, or Valkyries."

"Oh? They have Valkyries on that side too?"

"She didn't expin. Maybe it's a different group? Headmistress, we now know who Pandoras are, but can you please tell us about the E-Pandoras and Valkyries?"

"I do not know of any groups called Valkyries or E-Pandoras." frowned Margaret. "At least not in a context that would be relevant. I do not suppose your Goddess is asking you to recruit members from some music band?"

"No, I am pretty sure this isn't what she meant." chuckled Chisato. "So, we now need to integrate this fine establishment for a while."

"I have yet to agree." said Margaret as she shook her head. "And while I am grateful for your help earlier, from my point of view, I stand to lose at least ten very valuable and valued students, in order to gain two, and only for a few months."

"Yes." grinned Chisato. "But you do not get any random two students. If you let us join, we will provide medical care to anyone who needs it. We will participate in missions against the Novas. And we will teach Magecraft to a number of Pandoras or even Limiters, including some who will remain in this world and will in turn teach others. And then, there is the reward for fulfilling that quest Lilith-sama gave us."

  "A reward?"

"Yes. Although compensation would be a better way to describe it. In return for poaching some of your Pandoras, E-Pandoras or Valkyries to her service, Lilith-sama will plug the dimensional hole that allows the Novas to reach your world."

Chisato grinned further when she saw Margaret inhale sharply.

"You will be forever rid of that threat, Headmistress."

The headmistress nodded thoughtfully, not letting her thoughts appear on her face.

She would need to consult with Chevalier, and without a doubt, Dr Aoi would hear about it and involve himself. But she already knew what decision they would make.

Even if the compensation for this so-called quest turned out to be an outrageous scam, the possibility of learning this Magecraft would be enough by itself. If Pandoras acquired the possibility to destroy Novas from a distance, the reduction in their yearly casualty rate for a single year would be more than enough to compensate for the loss of ten Pandoras.

Chevalier wouldn't blink twice before agreeing. But she wasn't fully satisfied. The students of West Genetics weren't just a matter of cold-blooded calcutions to her.

"Please tell me more about what being an agent of your Goddess means. Are they well treated? How dangerous is it?"

"The job had a lot of perks." nodded Takina. "Lilith-sama is a near omnipotent Goddess. One of her direct subordinates and our boss, Noah, is an immortal Demi-God. And after he earned enough achievement, she allowed him to share some of his abilities with his own subordinates. Which is us, and those we recruit. We could be said to be Quarter-Goddesses, and we have an unlimited lifespan. Lilith-sama isn't very fond of having to repce her subordinates every few decades, so she made sure she didn't have to."

"We all live in several Grand Paces where most house chores are automated. When we aren't deployed, we travel around the world, heal people who needs it, hunt down criminals and terrorists, and interview politicians to search for corruption. We do not have a specific quota or imposed hours. When we decide we have done enough for the day, we return home to rex in various ways. We are all a big family." smiled Takina.

"And what about the deployments, as you call them?"

"We volunteer for it." replied Chisato. "None of us has been voluntold. The matter with Solomon's Demons has sted a year already, and will likely take two or three more, but after that, deployments will be pretty rare and be much shorter. When you have our abilities, all conflicts are solved quickly."

"…We have a reinforced room where we can simute fights against Novas. I would like to have a more complete demonstration of your abilities. The recordings of it may help convince some people."

"We agree. We can do it whenever you want." smiled Chisato.

"I'll arrange for the room to be avaible tomorrow at ten. For now, it is te, so I will assign you two rooms. Please avoid interacting too much with the students until we meet again tomorrow."

"A single room is enough." smiled Chisato. "Takina and I are together."

"I see." nodded Margaret. "Tomorrow, after the demonstration, we will need to take a blood sample to test for Stigmata compatibility. I assume this is part of what your Goddess intends, if you are to join West Genetic… is there something wrong?" asked Margaret, noticing Chisato paling.

"She's no good with needles." smiled Takina, squeezing Chisato's shoulder.

Margeret raised an eyebrow. A girl who fearlessly faced Novas, killed one and did most of the work destroying another, and cimed she was an immortal Quarter-Goddess, was afraid of needles?
