Swirling eddies paralleled the wakes of the two crystalline figures of Brahma and Agni as they sped through the golden-red clouds of ionic dust. Brahma couldn’t help but hold in reverence the nuclear particles from which the Stellae Creaturix had been reborn with. He could feel the tracts of energy converging on the Creaturix from all corners of the iteration. And the strength of that flow grows with every standard rotation. It was hard not to get carried away in excitement over the Creaturix’s return and what it meant for the way of life of the Star Children. What had been destroyed so long ago was being returned to them!
As a people they had lost so much that final day. All based on the decision of one untested girl-child leader. She had sacrified their loved ones, destroyed their eternal home, stonlen from them their eternal purpose. Her unsupported decision had lost them their place as kings of the mortal universe. Reducing her sworn people to cosmic bedouins. Wanderers, constantly running for their lives and searching for things that were not even a pale immitation of what had been ripped from their grasps.
It was a fever dream that even the smallest part would be restored to them. Yet here it was! The first neo zoi of a new crop of billions. All vibrating in untapped strength. Truly a new beginning for all as the stars waited to be freed into fiery ignition. The combustion that would change everything. And not just here, but the multiverse wide.
Brahma had only been a child when the Stellae Creaturix had been destroyed. But he was neither a fool nor a dunce concerning the past ways of his ancestors. He was certain that a power convergence on the scale he could sense feeding the Stellae Cureatix, was also replicated in equal measures within the nearby iterations. At least the ones that bore life. Without question, what happened here would happen in all the surrounding iterations, perhaps all the surrounding cuboids as well. And if this was true, the parts that the Star Children and their leaders played in thie iteration here were beyond important. Gaining control of the Creaturix was crucial to the return of the Star Children as a force for continued existence for all life in the multiverse. . . As such, there was no way he was ever going to let control of this almost impossible to believe second chance fall back under the control of the Olypians. Nor would he allow it to fall into the hands of the Infinite Spoiler Gaia– just the thought of having to call her ‘Mother’ one more time made the bile rise in the back of his throat– ever again.
The Hindi’s need to gain control of the Creaturix and safely guiding the rebirth of the Star Children as the nurturing force for life in the iteration. It was all that mattered… any means would justify this end.
Brahma looked with an unreadable expression at the youthful Agni gliding beside him, also in his Karmic form. His angular, crystalline perfection reveled in the warmth and light of the nascent star below. The perception of these metaphysical sensations were only increasing as the two of them neared the neo zoi’s coronal surface. Even at several super-light microgyra distance, their Karmic forms had already begun to feel the surges of power the protostar emitted as it Disseminated the vitality from its core. The crucial fluxes necessary to perpetuate both the physical and metaphysical existences of the iteration. They were renewing pulses that had been missing for far too long. Flying through these pulses, both his and Agni’s Karmic forms responded by forming a subtle but building golden glow in their transparent thorax and limbs. Their perfect Karmic body’s innate response of harmonizing with the neo zoi’s power emissions. A refocusing and condensed reflection of the star’s Living Essence that it shone for the betterment of all.
Noticing this for himself, Brahma saw Agni shoot him a furtive glance. When the youth noticed that he was already under Brahma’s scrutiny, the young god quickly turned away in embarrassment. Nervous but obedient. Good qualities. The leader in Brahma couldn’t help but evaluate those under him. Then the unbidden thought, He doesn’t deserve this. None of them had…
A few micros later, when their lithe bodies began to glow in blinding light matching the intensity of the protostar’s emanations ,Agni could no longer keep his surprise to himself. “Elder Brahma . . . Um . . . Sir! We’re . . . ahhh . . . glowing!” The young hindi was holding his thin arms and hands in front of his face. Obviously shocked at the physical transformation occurring within what he had likely always been taught was an incorruptible Karmic manifestation.

A genuine smile took the sharp lines of Brahma diamond face hearing the sincere naivety and wonder in the youth’s voice. Harmonized reverberation leading to visual refraction was something that was commonplace among their ancestors' lives as they worked among the neo zoi. But without any neo zois around to cause it, it was no wonder the child had never experienced it.
“Finally noticed our shine, did you?” Braham spoke warmly, playing the elder teacher to a curious new student. “There is no denying the force and potency of the iteration’s life-giving convergence here. The flows come from every corner of the iteration and it is their power that formed the original Creaturix.” Brahma spread his transparent arms indicating the billions of neo zoi all around them “...and now, the stars of its reformation, including this one below us. The first among them.” Agni’s crystal face intently focused on the knowledge Brahma was sharing with him. Apparently honored that the elder would take the time to explain a thing so central to the life of Star Children that he had no idea even existed before this. Seeing the reverence, Brahma continued. “It is these convergent flows that are in turn used as resources to generate the necessary matter to maintain physical proximity of the iterations mass and the differing Auras necessary for metaphysical existence. Both the physical and spiritual fruits of these neo zoi are necessary for the perpetuation of the iteration.” A full smile spread over Brahma’s strong face as he continued to share the depth of his knowledge. “You can consider our ‘glowing’ a manifestation caused by the gravimetric amplification of the neo zoi’s true karmic nature; the source of unique nutrients necessary for all life. This visual effect is particularly noticeable when its magnitude is multiplied by being so near the neo zoi’s mass-well.”
Agni’s face screwed up at the overly technical explanation for things that until just the last several micros had no meaning to him. Realizing Agni may have lost the forest for the sake of the trees, Brahma reached out to the young god at a level he would be more comfortable with. “My father and I preferred to think of the glowing as the star’s natural song to the universe being reflected by the pure truth of our Karmic forms.” The wonder returned to the young god’s smile showing upturned cheek bones and twinkling crystal eyes and Brahma held himself back from spilling into a detailed lesson about reverberated Essence magnification. There was no harm in letting it be a wonder a bit longer to Agni.
Bathing in the emissions of power, both silently sharing the exhilaration of the mixed spiritual and physical sensations, for the first time since leaving the presence of Shiva a content air of peace fell over the elder creation god. There was a purpose to both of them being here. They were both following Shiva’s instructions. And if Brahma knew anything for certain, Shiva wanted nothing more than to keep control of the Stellae Creaturix from Olypian, and in particular Gaia’s hands. As such, complying with Shiva’s demands was worth any price that they had to pay. Still, watching the pure joy of the young one as he soard through the Aura saturated ionic dust, the Elder god couldn’t help but truly look at the youthful fire numen at his side. Even in his perfected crystalline body, Agni had six arms, all carrying melee weapons. He also continued to be shrouded in his bright and uniquely orange flames. Brahma knew from previous observations that Agni’s weapons could wreak havoc among his enemies. It was also true that the illumination of the youth’s flames would reveal the impurities in the body and spirit of those he studied around him. In truth, Agni was a fine Hindi warrior and a good student—
Brahma stopped those thoughts and quickly turned away to school his expression. Forcibly taking control of his sentimental feelings as he chastised himself. My feelings are irrelevant. Shiva had spoken and there is no resisting Shiva’s impetus of destruction. That was a true statement and had been more than proven with nothing more than a simple snap of the oblivion god’s fingers. Brahma’s older brother Vishnu had been the one to pay the price of the appearant whimsical stirring of their younger brother’s terrifying will, when Shiva had silenced his arguments with a pop of his middle finger and thumb, shattering Vishnu’s supposedly invulnerable Force of Protection. A Star Child that was supposed to be the iteration’s balance to Shiva’s powers of obliteration,Vishnu’s dissolution of body and spirit into nonhealing, quantum fragments and uncharged aura had been instantaneous. A black plague of eradication had boiled from within his body and he his physical matrix had flaked into vanishing black motes rising on the surrounding air currents. A simple snap of the fingers had resulted in a complete severance of a quasi-immortal Star Child from all of reality and Karma. More than this, during the brief micros that Vishnu had been disintegrating, Shiva had gone about his continued business of discussing the rest of the day’s anticipated events. Smiling to his trembling attendants as if nothing novel was happening. That killing his oldest brother was of no import, like the crushing of vermin under a boot heel. Shiva’s remoseles act had made one thing extremely clear. Only complete obedience from his house was acceptable. Nothing else would be tolerated. And Shiva has ordered me to bring Agni here…
