TBE Chapter 30
Ezekiel returned inside the house but noticed that Robbert and Luke were still upstairs so he went up to check on them.
He saw that Robert was using the bidet to spray water all over the toilet.
“What are you doing?” Ezekiel asked and he almost laughed out loud when the two boys jumped in surprise.
“Luke pooped but he messed up and now there’s poop everywhere,” Robert said and Luke looked guilty.
Ezekiel then laughed and told the boys to clean themselves and that he would handle the toilet. The two boys jumped back into the tub and showered.
With one cast of the Prestidigitation spell using all the eleven spell slots, the toilet became clean. He then cleaned the boys’ clothes and mended any torn parts using Prestidigitation and the Mending spell. Ezekiel then thought that with the two spells, the three of them could live off of one set of clothes for a very long time. They haven’t even used the second set of clothes that he purchased which was stored in the wardrobe downstairs.
After playing with the water, the two boys went downstairs and ran outside to play. They began bothering Prince Charming who was good-natured enough to allow the two kids to play with him.
In the meantime, Ezekiel decided to take a bath as well since he was already in the washroom and while he was soaking in hot water, he thought about the things that he could purchase. He decided the purchase backpacks for the two kids. He chose the color brown so it would look like leather from a distance and would not be questioned by the village onlookers. He then purchased some coloring books, crayons, pencils, erasers, a pencil case, notebooks, cotton shirts, pants, socks, and underwear that were packed inside a zip lock, a plastic water bottle, and one small teddy bear for each bag. All of the things that he purchased cost him 20 copper coins but he couldn’t wait to show his brother the backpacks that he purchased for them.
The internet said that he should add snacks but he decided to do it at a later time. He did purchase a box of snacks for 5 copper coins and would retrieve it only when they were about to leave the house so it would remain fresh.
After taking a bath, Ezekiel dressed and went downstairs. The sun was setting so he called his brother but he was flabbergasted at how dirty they were.
They did run around in a forest so it’s expected so he simply cleaned them and their clothes using the Prestidigitation spell. If his spells level up due to use, that spell would be his most powerful by then.
Ezekiel then served one of the dishes that he cooked before for dinner and cold water. After dinner, he cast the Alarm spell in front of the house and locked the door and window. Then the three of them went to bed.
“I have a surprise for the both of you,” Ezekiel told Robert and Luke.
Robert and Luke waited expectantly and Ezekiel showed the backpacks that he retrieved from his 4th tab space.
“It’s a backpack filled with things!”
Ezekiel then showed them how to wear the backpacks on their back which the boys did. After that, he taught them how to use the zipper to open and close their new bags. Then the two boys explored the contents of the bag while he explained each of the items inside.
He showed them how to put the pencils and erasers inside the pencil case, he showed them each of the coloring books and that they could color the characters inside using the crayons, he showed them the notebook that they could use the pencil to write or draw on, showed them the zip lock bag containing an emergency shirt, pants, socks, and underwear, the small water bottle and finally the teddy bear.

Luke hugged the teddy bear and said “Mine!” while Robert looked at each of his things carefully. Ezekiel then told the boys that it was time to sleep and was surprised to see that both boys put their things inside their backpacks carefully then they both hugged their bags.
Ezekiel then told the boys that he could put the backpacks on the table but Robert and Luke hugged their bags. Robert said that he wanted to sleep with it and Luke looked like he wanted to do the same thing so he just let them be.
Both Robert and Luke were hugging their teddy bears while their bag was above their heads. Ezekiel then tucked them in and began telling them a new fairy tale story since he completed the first one but after a few minutes, both boys were asleep. Ezekiel was delighted to see that Robert and Luke were sleeping with smiles on their faces and soon he was asleep as well.
The next day, the three siblings woke up at the same time and when Ezekiel checked the time in his system browser, it was six in the morning.
“What are we going to do today, brother?” Robert asked while the kid was stretching.
“I still need to go to Mr. Duvon to learn. We’ll be bringing Prince Charming with us and pass by the horse trader section. I need to know more about how to take care of our donkey.”
They ate one of the breakfast meals that Ezekiel cooked before then all three of them drank a glass of milk spelled to taste like chocolate milk and also drank their vitamins since Luke clamored that Ezekiel forgot about the “magic pills”. He praised Luke again for reminding them about the vitamins which for some reason made Robert pout.
Ezekiel cleaned themselves and their clothes by using Prestidigitation then they went outside. Robert and Luke wore their new backpacks on their backs.
He didn’t forget to cast Galder’s Tower to make sure that their house would remain and not disappear then he purchased a heavy lock for 5 copper coins and locked the tower’s door.
He then looked at his system shopping site and looked for a cart that he could hitch on Prince Charming. He found them listed for 5 silver coins and above. He purchased the simplest one. It had 4 wheels and a seat for the driver.
When the cart appeared before them, Robert and Luke clapped their hands and cheered. Following the video tutorial guide from the most famous video streaming website on Earth, Ezekiel hitched the cart to Prince Charming who was behaving obediently.
Ezekiel then wondered if he should feed and water the donkey. The small cart that he purchased before remained in his inventory and he planned to sell it to Mr. Duvon.
Since he was thinking that the Donkey looked hungry he decided to feed Prince Charming the hay that he purchased from his system shopping site. The one that he purchased for 1 copper coin was supposed to feed the donkey three times. He then retrieved the bucket, filled it with water from one of the plastic gallons, and placed it beside the donkey.
Prince Charming ate and drank the things Ezekiel gave him but then after a few minutes, the donkey defecated which made Robert and Luke laugh. He cleaned everything by using the Prestidigitation spell including Prince Charming. Then they all climbed into the driver's seat.
Ezekiel then followed the guide on how to drive a horse cart or carriage from the famous video streaming site on Earth and soon Prince Charming was walking slowly on the road headed to the market pulling the cart behind him.
He was getting the hang of driving Prince Charming and soon he was enjoying the travel. Robert and Luke wanted to try driving the cart so he let them hold the reigns for a while and when they got bored, they gave the reigns back to him.
When they were about to reach the village market, Ezekiel put the two cougars and one boar from his 4th tab space into their cart and continued.
While they were driving the cart, a lot of villagers were looking at them and Robert and Luke sat proudly in the cart’s driver seat as if they were showing off their new car.
Ezekiel saw the three boys who tried to bully them before looking envious at the cart and he wondered why. It was just a cart being pulled by a donkey.
They pulled over when they reached the butcher’s.
“I heard that you purchased a dying donkey from the horse trader. That donkey doesn’t look like it’s dying to me,” The burly butcher said while examining the donkey.
“I cured it using the herbs I’ve gotten from the forest. How much are you paying for my boar and two cougars?”
The butcher rolled his eyes at him when the man heard that he cured the donkey with a few “herbs”.
“I’ll pay you a silver coin for the lot.”
Ezekiel nodded and the butcher and his man retrieved the boar and the two cats from the cart. The butcher then gave him a silver coin. He thanked the butcher and then drove their new cart toward Mr. Duvon’s house. While they were on the way, he surreptitiously cleaned the cart using his Prestidigitation spell then put the small cart that he purchased before inside the cart.
When they arrived at his teacher’s house, the three of them climbed down. Ezekiel tied Prince Charming in a nearby tree and then knocked on Mr. Duvon’s door.
