Kibishi's POV
I was on its sight. There was no turning back now.
Normally, if I attacked, then it would have been able to strike back. But since it was stun-locked thanks to my sudden appearance, I would have to make do with it!
"I told you, didn't I?" I bent one knee as I felt my eyes glowing at the monster.
"You have chosen death..."
Then—
Dash!
With intense speed, I charged right at the monster. I had done this before, but this time, since it would be fixed on me and me only, what happened next would surprise it!
I brought back my knife and saw it trying to use its one cw to block this upcoming attack—
Ssh!
But fundamentally, for me, Tao sshed it back while paying attention to me. The monster growled in pain and leaped into the air to gain some space. But I had expected this as well.
Leap!
That was why I had wanted everyone to agree with my pn. And not only JUST to be a distraction to the monster. But to keep it at bay as I drew near it.
Step!
Dash!
I stepped into the snow deeply and gained some more speed thanks to it.
I also realized something as well.
For the past fights, everything it could predict wouldn't work on it. So, what if I tried to surprise it once more? I would do the unexpected once I reached it. But I would need my friends' help to do this. So...

As the rest of the others headed towards the monster to distract it, I got ready to go underground thanks to Jir's additional help, which made me able to dig underground and breathe in it, too. Before that, though, I rested my hand on Tao's shoulder. "There's one st thing I want from you and the others, Tao."
"Huh?" Tao turned towards me. "What is it?" Tao asked while tilting her head cutely.
"I want you all to back me up. The monster will be shocked when I'm in front of it. But it will try to get away once I'm within range. So..." I smiled gently at Tao. "I need you all to back me up and give me strength in order to kill it."
Present
And kill it, I would!
"ROOOWWWAAARR!!!" It screamed at me and lifted its one good arm, since the other one was gone.
Trunn!!!
With its one good arm intensifying as a huge aura surrounded its palm, a giant fireball appeared.
"What?!" I raised my brows.
Fwoossshhh!!!!
It sent the fireball towards me with great speed. I could hear the wind roaring as the ball of fire came in my direction.
Fire?!
It could shoot fire as well?!
I didn't ponder that for long and simply did a dodge roll, letting the fireball hit where I was standing moments ago.
Crash!
The whole igloo started to shake intensely as more water dripped from the roof to the side of the wall. I looked at the crater that had been created thanks to that attack from the monster. It seemed like it could do more than just ice, it seemed.
I slowly stood up and readied my knife once more.
Dash!
I continued to dash some more. I couldn't be sleeping at a time like this.
Whossh! Whosh!
I felt a couple of winds go by me in the blink of an eye.
No.
Those weren't winds. Taking a closer look, it seemed to me that it was Jir and Riley who had gone past me in a matter of seconds. Having that type of speed was pretty impressive if you asked me.
Jir leaped into the air, going airborne just like the monster.
Riley went underneath the monster instead of meeting up with Jir in the air alongside the monster itself. The monster growled and faced Jir's direction.
The monster's remaining arm intensified, and its muscles started to bulk up, and then suddenly—
ZAAAPP!!!!
Lightning was thrown in Jir's direction!
How many magic does this thing have?!
The monster, who had been using only ice until now, was now using different types of magic! But how come?! Why do it now?! But despite my panic, Jir simply lifted her right palm and brought it in front of her.
Zaappp!!!!
The lightning that aimed for Jir ended up going through her palm instead of her whole body. Jir slowly closed her palm with a calm expression and slowly brought it near her chest.
"A level one magic trick..." Jir said coldly and aimed her palm at the monster.
Or, so I thought.
Jir swiftly aimed the lightning at Riley and struck her with all her might. Before I could say anything, I returned to my senses and kept going. They must have had a pn of their own besides mine.
And—lo and behold, it seemed like they did.
Riley used her staff to gather the light-speed lightning and twirled it. She then aimed the staff at the monster that was right above her and then—
STRIKE!!!
"RRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAARRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!" The monster screamed in pain and agony. The lightning that it gave out must have been so low that it wasn't as powerful as the version that Jir and Riley just made.
Whoosh!
Before the monster could react to the sound, Jir dashed toward the monster and twirled both of her golden staffs. Once close enough, Jir separated her staffs, bent her knees, and gave a small smile.
Wham!
With the pressure of the speed Jir was providing, Jir thrust her boots deeply inside the monster's stomach.
Crash!
That caused the monster to disappear from the naked eye and hit the wall. Hard and strong. The impact was so strong that the whole igloo was breaking down some more. It seemed like the monster was using all of its remaining magic to defend itself instead of continuing to make the igloo stable.
With this, I smiled and gave a thumbs up to Jir and Riley for their hard work.
Dash!
I continued my advancement towards the monster. Jir and Riley might have worked together to stall it, but I was betting it would worry about me more than them.
Crash!
The monster leaped out of the wall with more wounds than ever before. I could see the stomach fully exposed. The organs were hanging, and the mouth was bleeding as well. This meant that the monster was weakening by the minute. And since it wasn't resting, it could not recharge its magic! That meant we still had this!
The monster's head faced my direction.
It growled and raised its palms at me.
Wooouunnn...
Some strange sound was coming from the monster's palm as dark clouds appeared in front of it. Was it using the dark clouds from before?! If it put them back on, then I wouldn't be able to hit it!
Come on, Kibishi! You'll have to do something from here—
Ssh!
Suddenly, Kuma sshed the clouds horizontally and made the monster scream in pain once more. Kuma nded on all fours and then brought her sword upwards to attack the monster once again.
Ssh!
"RRRRROOOOOOAAAAAAARR!!!!!!!!!!!!" The monster screamed even louder than ever before. Every time it screamed, the pce started to shake more and more. But I could not worry about that right now. I had to be there to give the finishing blow!
Dash!
Halfway there! Jir had thrown the monster a few feet further than what we originally pnned, but it was all good! We could do this!
The monster clenched its cws and tried to swipe Kuma's head clean off her body. But luckily, Kuma dodged and leaped backwards. The monster leaped towards Kuma out of frustration, I bet. But the monster turned its head at me and stopped its heavy foot on the ground.
BOOM!!!
Like a volcano that had erupted, the whole pce once again shook due to how heavy the monster's foot was. No, it was more like how much power it still had left despite losing so much energy.
The monster left a trail of snow and then clenched its cw once more.
I knew it didn't have eyes anymore, but the face made me feel like it was staring at my very soul, which made me a bit nervous. That being said, though, I would not give up my movement. I was getting closer to the monster, so I would not allow it to scare me!
The monster slowly lifted up its hand and summoned a giant boulder in thin air.
It must have had earth magic as well!
This thing was FULL of surprises!
Thow!
The monster threw the giant boulder in my direction. I knew I wouldn't feel it due to my nerves being shut down, but still. It would stop my movement! If I dodged out of the way now, it would give the monster a chance to move further away from me! And I could not allow that to happen! I would have to tank it somehow—
Hold!
Suddenly, I saw David stop the boulder with his bare hands!
His hands were now bleeding intensely since the boulder was likely spinning in order to gain speed of some kind. But since David was in front of me, some snow got on my body. David gritted his teeth and forced himself to move out of my way. And once he did that, I went past him. I looked back and saw David slowly lift up the boulder as if it were nothing. Well, I thought that, but David's muscles were tensing so hard that you could see veins all over his detailed abs and pecs. David was breathing heavily. I wanted to help and turn around, but David looked at me in anger.
Getting the message, I nodded at him.
"Here's your rock back!" David shouted with all his might.
Toss!
Boom!
I didn't even see it properly, but David threw that boulder so fast, so strong, that I thought it was a meteorite!
Dust formed around the monster as it seemed to cough up a lot.
The boulder just made things a lot easier! With this, I could even the pying field!
Swift!
I went to the left and ran around, detouring for a moment.
Despite the detour, I was a lot closer to the monster now! Just a couple more jogs and I would be within range!
Toss!
My celebration was cut short when another boulder was aimed my way. I hadn't thought about it, but I ducked underneath it and continued to move. My lips were sealed shut, my eyes were burning brightly as ever. My body was following my instructions. This was good. This was VERY good. I was nearly there. The desperation was showing from the monster! I could do this!
Whoosh!
Just five seconds. Five seconds until I was at my target!
"ROOAARRR!!!"
The monster sent lightning my way.
Zaapp!!!!!
I narrowed my eyes at the monster. I wouldn't be scared by a couple of lightning bolts that couldn't kill me....
Besides...
Zaapp!!!!
I had my friends with me.
Jir redirected the lightning with her palm and shot it at a wall of the igloo. This made the igloo shake even more, causing a lot of water drops to fall on everyone's faces.
This pce wasn't going to st any longer.
Well, neither would the monster!
Shing!
I lifted up my knife in front of me, my grip tightening.
Four seconds until I was within reach...
The monster's shoulders were moving up and down fast and intensely. I could tell from here that it was running out of energy as well. This was it!
This was the breaking point for it!
Three seconds left.
The monster lifted up its palm at me once more.
Wham!
Before it could fire anything else, Tao used her knee to break its jaw, and it wobbled backwards. But even that didn't make the monster stop its movement for long. The monster growled and lifted its palm at me once again.
Wham! Wham!
Two seconds left.
And once again, Kuma and David went for the attack. Kuma gave an uppercut while David pnted his boots on the monster's back. I could hear some bones creaking as well. The monster wobbled even more as the igloo started to lose its form.
One second left....
The monster shook its head and STILL aimed its palm at me.
Wong!
In the blink of an eye, four magical orange rings appeared on the monster's body to restrain it. Riley was standing on the right while Jir was floating on top of the monster.
It struggled and struggled. Trying to break free from the grip of Riley and Jir.
But unfortunately for the monster, it didn't make any difference anyway.
Zero...
Stomp!
I stomped both of my boots hard and fast.
I was in front of the monster.
My target was in front of me.
The monster jolted in fear and struggled to break free once more. But it was too te now. I was already next to it. I was already by my target.
I slowly backed up my knife and twirled it in style.
"Got you..."
And with a powerful thrust...
THRUST!
GUSSSHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
I hit my target and finally... I thrust my knife deeply inside the monster....
"It's my win... MONSTER!!!!!"
