Mahito eased very seamlessly into his tenure at the Awakened Academy.
He settled himself in his quarters before heading into the main hall to attend the orientation.
The rows of the hall were filled with awakened spanning multiple years of age.
At the head of the great hall stood a man of defined and solid form.
Master Rock stood at the head of the hall; his scarred and stern face scrutinizing all in his perception.
The orientation didn’t last too long.
He gave a short speech about the duty of the awakened and the coming trials of the Winter Solstice.
It was also mentioned that students should have their class rosters finalized in the next few days.

Which conveniently enough was one of the many first actions Mahito needed to take and make.
He had a plethora of different options to choose from in regards to what topics he was to absorb in this short amount of time.
Combat was definitely a no-go.
I know, it sounds crazy, but let me explain.
Mahito’s foundation in martial arts was already very vast: a bonus of his upbringing with his pops.
With what little combat application that he would be able to get done inthis short amount of time, the result from the practice would be very minimal.
He would be significantly better off pursuing fields of study that we not only a bit obscure from the status quo, but also practical enough to be able to realistically sythesize the knowledge integral to the course.
Fortunately, Mahito did take a brief glance at all his potential options during his ride over to the academy.
Out of the vast options that were present, only two of them truly stood out to him.
It’s unfortunately too late into the evening to go officially apply for either.
All that Mahito can do is rest until tomorrow.
He’ll be giving a certain two professors a visit.
