Deep breath echoes in a place of eternal distance and fog. Time extended beyond the future, space collapsing upon contact with time, yet the fog persisted.
Chasing the man until no rest.
Each steps he took, the fog moved. Each movement he made, the fog made way.
However, that was proved to be futile.
For every 10 steps he took, space wrapped around him, dragging him back to his original position.
Moving to his left, he closed his eyes and expected to be returned only to pass the 10 steps count. He smiled, he had been in there for as long as he could remember, repeatedly trying until no ends.
That too was futile.
His knees gave out, the cold texture of nothingness rushed towards his legs as the floor pressed hard against his bones.
His body curled into a ball, the voice of him, shaking.
"Why?" The remaining energy were stripped away, not leaving room for another word.
Despite this, his voice was full with indescribable emotions and feelings inside his heart was about to burst open when a feeling of intense dread entered his mind as countless eyes slowly began to open all around him.
Looking at him. Gazing at what it desired the most, the essence of his soul.

Julo jumped out of bed with his eyes and nose bleeding to his mouth as he closed his eyes in pain.
However, the pain faded away as he opened them once again.
"Julo! It's almost 11 am." He heard a shout from his dad.
He rubbed his eyes to feel the blood gone. As if the blood was never there to begin with. Each proof of its existence were erased out of the world.
Suddenly, his dad barged into the room with a plate of fried rice in his hands. His incredible balance of the plate while running into the room was interesting but Julo was quite used to the sight.
"Did you have the nightmare again?"
This wasn't the first time he had this nightmare before. In fact, he had been having the same repeating nightmares for the past 3 months now. Albeit, the total count was only three.
The strange part was he would always bleed from both of his nose and eyes every time this happened.
Thankfully, his dad knew about the bleeding since he was in the room the first time it happened.
Of course, he immediately rushed to help him seeing that his son was bleeding heavily only for the blood to completely vanished.
Even the camera were unable to pick it up, only showing the actions they took instead of the blood.
'Thankfully, my dad saw it.'
It would've been a pain in the ass to convince his dad that he didn't have schizophrenia due to the blood disappearing.
"Dad, should I go to a supernatural specialist?" Julo asked.
Last time this happened, he went to a doctor to see what was wrong but what they gave them was antipsychotics and obviously that didn't work. It was quite clear that the situation wasn't a problem science could solve.
"No, the people at your new job should be able to stop the nightmares."
Julo looked down at his feet before sighing deeply. He's supposed to get a job at his mom's old work place and apparently the company that owns it has the solution to his problem.
However, still wary at the incident a few years back, Julo wasn't sure if he could believe them. Despite this, his dad kept on trusting them, and he wouldn't do such a thing without having a reason to.
Hot air exited his lung as a sigh was deeply released.
He looked beside his bed to find a spider that was massive looking at him. Normally, he wouldn't be scared but the spider always somehow seems to get in front of his face while asleep and scare him when he wakes up.
Staring at the view of him leaving, he decided to not bother him further and got done with his daily routine.
Despite his dad being late for work, his mind still felt the need to stay home for Julo to get ready.
Most people let their kid move out at 16 years since it is the legal age, some might let their kid stay or just beg them to stay. Julo was neither since his dad let him move out. He even saved enough money for Julo to last about a year. Of course, if he hadn't found a job then he would give him more.
That didn't matter since Julo went straight to the car and sat in the backseat. The car was a smart car which can use an auto pilot, normally he wouldn't trust an auto pilot but this one was what he made. And since he made it, he was certain this car wouldn't even start but to his surprise it did.
He was a great programmer although he underestimated his skill as his Versile can make it easy.
From what he knew, Versile was a supernatural thing that grants people to do things that normally aren't supposed to be possible. Like magic for example, however, unlike magic Versile was a part of the human body. Nobody really knows where it came from. Some religions tried their best to explain this but the most widely accepted theory was the one-two theory.
The one-two theory suggested that the universe came from a single zero dimension point, it then separated into two points, the first point is called one and the second is two, the two points separated into 4 points and so on. The zero dimension point contained infinite energy and when the energy inside smashed against each other with infinite energy it made a byproduct called Versation, which is also a byproduct when someone uses Versile. By connecting the dots, people managed to relate Versile and Versation. The chances are Versile most likely came from the point of infinite energy.
Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings.
Some experts tried to expand on the idea but the official quickly dismissed their idea as nonsense. By now, Versile was a daily part of their life since the stone ages.
The scent of the waving tree, slowly went up his nose as his brain processed the information. He leaned forward to the driver seat before turning off the auto pilot.
Quietly opening the door, he looked at the place before sighing. This was the location his mom told him to come when he turned 16 years old.
He walked around, not expecting much, who knows maybe he might get a SSS grade weapon like in some novels he read. Of course, that rank didn't exist in real life.

The soft chair held someone with the faint scent of coffee climbed into everyone's nose. Sitting on it, he exchanged gazes with everyone waiting in the humid room.
Before long, the sound of the ringing door made its way into the room.
He softly pressed his knees before using it as support as he stood.
Feeling the texture and the coldness of the smooth round door handle, the shining light of the heating fluorescent lamb bounced off the dark hair of the young man in front of him.
The person was Julo, of course. He was shocked, literally and figuratively.
He was shocked literally by the electricity flowing into his body and figuratively by his vision suddenly changing.
He smiled, looked at Julo, who was still stunned like a rock.
"Who might you be?"
Flustered, Julo quickly answered.
"I'm Julo Ester"
"My name is Gino Tanipo, you can call me boss or captain. Nice to meet you"
He examined him from top to bottom.
Gino was well built, with messy hair and brown eyes. His clothes made him look like a 1980s detective. Despite these kinds of clothes looking ancient, the media still loved them.
"Follow me" As he said that, he turned around before led Julo into the room. His skin flooded with tiny chicken like skin as the cold air rushed to his lung.
Multiple people, staring at Julo as they whispered between themselves.
Julo was wary at first but considering they had managed to teleport him somehow and his mom telling him to come here was already enough to get rid of the feeling.
The first person Julo looked at had green hair, green eyes and green clothes. He was the most out of place because the matching colour made him look like a cosplayer.
The second person looked like a cyborg, cyborgs weren't common due to their prices and risks, she had purple eyes and red hair. The reason Julo managed to figure it out was because his Versile allowed him to send certain waves to tamper with electronics, while it isn't that useful, he could use it to understand coding and electronics better by a whole lot. He could also sense if an electronic was nearby.
There was another person that also had green hair, however, it was a dark shade of green, his eyes were brown, there were black spots under his eyes. The last one had black hair, which was a surprise considering black hair was rare since most hair colours were in the genes now.
'The cosplayer seems shor-' Before he could even finish thinking, a punch as if it had the force of a cannon entered his chest. Paleness entered his face, rejecting any other colors for a while.
"I can see it on your face" The cosplayer said with an annoyed expression, he looked at Julo and looked away.
'Fast'
He looked back at Julo, smiling, as if his previous expression was never real to begin with.
'Talking about mood swing'
"I'm Travestita, nice to meet you" He extended his hand.
Just as he was about to shake after grabbing, he swung him to the other side of the room with one hand, Julo hit the wall and looked at him with a furious expression.
He got up and touched his back, surprisingly, it didn't hurt a lot like he thought it would.
"The walls are made out of material that can cushion if something hits it at fast speed" Julo's face was too readable to Gino.
In fact, it was readable to every member in the room. However, none of them bothered to explain when a hint of confusion was on Julo's face, so Gino decided to fill him in.
Gino looked at Travestita and then back at Julo.
"It was installed because a certain person keeps throwing people on the wall"
After a short pause, Gino spoke again.
"However, that seems to backfire as the said person put more energy into his throw because there would be no consequences"
Travestita looked away and nobody paid any attention to it. Too busy looking a complete stranger named Julo, they wouldn't really bother introducing themselves.
After all, it was clear that he wouldn't last a few months here.
After all, his mother only requested that they would look into him if he would meet their interests. However, things were not looking good for Gino, from what Gino had researched his Versile allowed him to send waves that tamper or modify electronics. Which, itself was a decent Versile but since they had a cyborg with them that can tamper with electronics, albeit much slower to Julo
The speed which she could achieve was enough for everything, it wasn't like they were robbing banks, even if they did the government would give them tools to do so.
In short, Julo was half useless.
"Oh yeah, I want you to retrieve the files the government has sent" These words left his mouth as everyone snapped their name into his face. Noticing the smirk yet not telling him.
Julo replied after a short pause.
"The government?"
"Yeah, the government"
Julo's eyes wavered in the room, his hand slowly starting to shake.
"I'm not sure if I'm qualified to do this"
"If you managed to get them, then we'll give you a job that many people could only hope to get" Julo shined like rainbows, contrasting what was his expression before.
'Yeah, he's hopeless'
Travestita tried to maintain a smile but that was proving to be hard because he knew Julo wouldn't last. Although everyone had came to this conclusion, he still had some hopes. Sucks that he wouldn't be getting another playmate.
"Just go to the location and pick it up. Don't look at what's inside, it is classified"
His explanation sound and clear, Julo left the room after a few minutes.
After he left, Gino looked at Travestita and sighed. his stare, deeply dumfounded.
"Did you really need to do that"
"Hey, I didn't lie. It was important"
It was then the cyborg spoke.
"Is a certain fanfic classified?"
The room suddenly filled with silence. After a while, Travestita's trembling voice managed to become audible.
"H..ho.."
"It looks like my guess is correct"
"Who knows. Maybe, he might trip and find out" Gino's word only fueled the fire. The whole room looked like it was about to burst.

Julo walked to his destination and before long he was already there. He picked up, the packet as the dust made way for him to walk back. He doesn't know what's inside nor does he want to know.
Walking past a restaurant, the sweet smell traveled throughout the wind before landing inside his nose. His eyes gently closed as the smell calmed his fingers from shaking.
Unfortunately it would become more stressful.
It was being robbed.
And It wasn't pure coincidence, a robber decided to rob this restaurant. In fact, the owner of the restaurant won a lottery and with great money goes to the stupidest people in town.
The reason being? His smooth brain couldn't stop bragging about it.
Julo turned his head the instant the gunshot went off, however before he could grasp the situation.
A high pitch noise forcefully crawled inside his ears. His head screamed at the slight noise that was the ever nerve pinching sound.
"Hmmm."
Noticing the face of someone in the group, his eyes widened as blood rushed to his legs and the floor around his legs shifted to the back. His arms and body was having the same reaction as well.
Normally they would just let the police deal with this but because of a high threat Versile that the police can't handle without any preparation and since they were also here, they decided to give a hand.
The robber looked at him and drops of blood dripped from the robber's ears. Almost instantly, all movement around the robber was paused. Nobody other than the robber could move. Some kind of pressure was canceling all of their movement equally.
That didn't last long, however. As a movement that seemed to surpass the speed of sound burst out of nowhere. It came from the other black haired person, he managed to bypass the barrier in 2 seconds. Of course, the other could do it in a shorter time but since he was the current weakest member he decided to break it to let the others conserve their energy.
Unfortunately, Julo couldn't handle the Sonic boom up close and since he was fragile, he immediately passed out.
