I’ve wanted to start with a clean slate for a long time. As many of you have likely realized, I am first and foremost a fan of the genre—specifically LitRPG. I only discovered this style of storytelling shortly before I began writing my own, and in my excitement, I allowed my favorite works to influence my writing too heavily.
I want to be transparent about where my inspirations—and in some cases, direct copies—came from:

Ranks and Coins: These are fairly generic staples of the evolution genre, but I’ve used them as my baseline.

Conceptual Beings: These elements were heavily borrowed from the Great Astral Beings in Shirtaloon’s He Who Fights with Monsters.

Aura Beasts: As many of you recognized, these were taken from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

Voice of the World: This is a direct copy of the "Great Sage" or "Wisdom King Raphael" from Tensura.
The only elements I truly feel are my own are the species I’ve created, such as the Flarens and the Forest-born, along with a few others yet to be introduced.
I know it might seem strange to write this when I don’t have thousands let alone hundreds of views, but even if I only have one reader, I don't want to fool them. I’m writing this because I feel things got out of hand. I’ve been using AI to generate paragraphs and looking for ideas in other series rather than trusting my own creativity.
I love fantasy too much to keep doing this. To anyone who has read my chapters so far: I am sorry. I want to be a better writer, and I am committed to improving and finding my own voice from here on out.
