Announcement: Some information on my book series

Hello! I wanted to give some information about how my book series is structured.

Vespers of Epheius is Part 1: Book 1 of 3 in the Wardens of the Crystals series. It follows one point of view character: Erador.

Book 2 and 3 will have different points of views. Part 2 will come after this and continue Erador’s story.

The reason I structured my series this way is because it was a lot easier for me to write. Each book is over 160,000 words. Book 2 being the longest out of the 3. If I had kept them combined, that would make book 1 close to 500,000 words or more. I had planned to keep them combined but I didn’t like the pacing. Six points of view in one book is a lot. I was afraid readers would have an even harder time reading a book this long. I found it discouraging and overwhelming to keep writing it in this manor, so I separated them into three.

Again, I wanted to make it clear that Erador’s story will continue in Part 2. I understand if it’s frustrating but I have poured so much thought and care into the other points of view, so I hope you will enjoy them as well.

Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. Read this novel on Royal Road.

While I have different points of views, all their stories cross or affect each other in some way or another.

Here is a bit of information on the other two books:

-Book 2 will include 3 new points of view. It follows a princess who feels trapped in her situation, a knight running an investigation, and a mysterious prince from an enemy kingdom.

All three characters feature in book 1 in the background; one makes a physical appearance. I’m in the process of finishing my rewrites and editing as I go. I am most excited to complete this book as I have made a lot of changes to improve it. This book contains light romance (a love triangle/multiple lovers) but no NSFW.

-Book 3 will include at least 2 new points of view. A king and a blind knight journey with other companions to find a cursed, godly stone. The king features in book 2. A few chapters are ready. I’m in the process of making changes to the journey so it is longer and more intriguing.

I wanted to say thank you to anyone who has taken the time to read my story. I’ve spent many years working on this book series with a lot of ups and downs. I have improved my writing in many ways but I still feel I have a lot to learn. I would appreciate any constructive criticism. I also have a discord:
