"Ellie porter here"
"I'm in the stadium with our favorite finalist and we're here to watch the tussle for third place"
"The crowd density in the stadium today would make you wonder how it would be in the final"
"The place is packed!"
"The first fighter we see coming on the arena is a favorite of many"
"A one time champion who claimed his only title by beating all the heavyweights in the early matches and since then he has never not made it to the semifinals"
"He is a force to be reckoned with"
"Anyone that saw his previous fights would know that he is an opponent that even the champions do not take lightly"
"I introduce to you"
"Someone most of you already know"
"The head of the department of geography"
"The man who almost won against Fuji Waramaki"
"ISHIGAMI KUROBE"
"The second person coming up to the arena"
"We love her for her beauty, we love her for her strength and we love her because she loves the one we want to win"
"The queen of ice who has only had one tough fight in the tournament and some say she only lost because the opponent was her love"
"A daughter of the great house of Fubuki"
"The one who gave a frostbite to the son of flames"
"NATSUMI FUBUKI!!"
"This may be a battle of losers but I assure you that it is worth watching"
"The skills that these two have shown tell us that this match is definitely one to look forward to. That and the fact that the fact that the stadium is already filled when we still have an hour left before the match begins"
"I've got to go secure my spot, I'll see you when the match begins"
"For now, Ellie Porter signing out"
While everyone else was getting excited about the upcoming match, Waramaki was as in his office catching up on some school work. Other contestants would have been racking their heads around ways to win the upcoming final match but he was calmly sitting in his office formulating questions ahead of the tests coming up in a few months time.
The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
"You know you have enough time to do this after the tournament, right?" A deep voice said to Waramaki.
"I know" he replied.
"You know your opponent is a troublesome one, right" the voice said again.
"I know" he replied.
"But it does not apply to me" he added.
"Do you believe that is true" the voice asked
"I do" Waramaki answered.
"Then, you are a fool" the voice said as the light in the office began to dim, a great shadow had been cast over the school building. As Waramaki looked through the darkness and towards the windows, two gigantic eyes looked back.
"You have seen what that man can do. "
"Do you think you have seen it all? "
"Do you think you really know the meaning of unspecified? "
"Do you really think your power is enough? "
"If any part of you is confident, "
"then your foolishness knows no bounds "
"If you underestimate the power of the divine within him, "
"only shame awaits you on the arena."
"If he is as great as you say he is, " Waramaki replied
"What do you suggest I do to win? " he asked
"It is really simple" the dragon said.
"Do not fight him on the designated day of the match. "
"Fight him a day after."
"If you fight him on schedule, you will undoubtedly lose."
"Because that day is his day"
The darkness left and the dragon was gone and Waramaki was left in his office with a lot to think about as he continued to work.
There are many facts, theories and speculations that surround the final matches of the new world tournament but the truest and the most known was what happens when they begin. As soon as the buzzer sounded for the match to begin, the stadium began to expand. Kojiro wasted no time in setting up the place for a large scale battle and the contestants spared none in starting it.
within the first second of the match, the arena was already split in half and there was a deep gorge in middle. By the next second, the arena floor was completely shattered and boulders were rising into the air. This was Kurobe's way of making a statement.
"ARE YOU SEEING THIS SH**?!!" Ellie yelled at the top of her voice looking back and fort from the camera.
"RIGHT AT THE START!!!" She yelled.
"RIGHT AT THE START!!!"
Not even five seconds had passed since the match began but people were already unable to tell what was going on. all they could tell was that dust debris and boulders were flying around, and that it was apparent that Kurobe had the upper hand.
Natsumi found herself running around the arena, doing her best to evade the boulders that were shooting at her with tremendous speeds. Kurobe wasn't giving her a chance to react, before one rock could even get to her, another one was on its way.
shot after shot after shot, Kurobe could see his victory coming closer. Not that he believed he would win with this first move but the fact that he saw Natsumi having a hard time against him as soon as the match began was a great contributor to his confidence.
For the next five minutes of the match it was just rocks flying around and the constant sound of earthquakes. All people could see was boulders, all they could hear was the thumping sounds as the rocks crashed in the earth, all they could feel was the vibrations of the earth as it quaked beneath them. It was so loud, so jittery, so exhilarating that no one noticed as the air around them grew colder.
"I thought that by now you would have managed to get close to me" Kurobe said to Natsumi as he kept shooting his boulders at her.
"Can we even call this a fight?!!"
"If I was up against you in the semis I'd be preparing for the final by now"
"How did you even get this far?"
"Not even a single hit since the match began"
Everyone that heard Kurobe's words had one thing in mind. His words were harsh and not completely true but his dominating of the match made the hard to deny. A normal person would either be destabilized or angered by his words but Natsumi gave a calm and rather surprising reply.
"I could say the same for you" she said in a calm but audible tone. Kurobe could not understand what he heard from Natsumi, not that he did not clearly hear what she said, he heard her perfectly, he was just confused about the context in which she said it.
"Have you been able to get close?" Natsumi asked
"Have you managed to hit me even once?" She added
It was at this point that the veil fell from Kurobe's eyes. He looked closely at Natsumi and all he could was the fact that the entirety of his efforts had been nothing but a show. There was not a single scratch on Natsumi.
