The week after, Jermaine summons all of the group to the presentation room of the Knight's Fortress.
When they all arrive, they see Jermaine, standing side-by-side with five other people, most familiar but one stood out.
Jermaine clears his throat and takes a deep breath.
"In light of... Recent tragedies, I have decided to begin the next stage of your becoming of proper Knights early."
"Today, you'll be receiving your assignments for apprenticeship."
"This is effectively for more dedicated training, aimed to improve your abilities even more."
"So I guess I should get started."
Each of the rookies stand eager for their new assignments.
"First, Aaron is with Ferrul, you can expect to handle missions and intense physical training."

"Next up is Laura, you'll be training with me, expect aspect refinement training."
"Third is James, you're going to train your Aura refinement with Warren."
Everyone in the room but James and Jermaine look confused.
"Fourth is Edwin, you'll be with Lucius, expect intense paperwork and waiting around for something big enough to need to be present."
The comment gets a chuckle out of both Edwin and Lucius.
"Next up is Darius who's gonna be sparring with Jonah to improve his martial arts."
Darius and Jonah grin at each other, obviously excited to be able to spar as much as they'd like.
"Lastly is..."
Jermaine's smile fades.
"Asha with..."
"Thorne."
Thorne looks almost angry at the assignment.
Asha looks at at Thorne happily, waving, only to be met with a deep sigh.
All of the new duos leave, but as Thorne and Asha walk out, Jermaine stops Thorne.
Jermaine grips Thorne by the shoulder tightly.
"If you try to pull any bullshit..."
"Don't expect to see the next day."
Thorne begins quaking in fear, unable to even talk.
Jermaine's grip gets even tighter.
"Can you get those words through that thick skull of yours?"
Thorne still cant respond.
"I said, DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!"
Jermaine's shout seems to scare Thorne out of his fearful trance.
"Y-y-yes, Sir, I wont do anything out of line, Sir!"
Jermaine clenches his fists as he leaves, clearly regretting that he didn't go further.
