Jack and Adam made their way through the front parlor of the massive house. “Wow, this is a nice house, even nicer than my house.” The sound of their footsteps clacking on the marble floor. Jack smiled, “Well, I’m sure your house is good.” Adam replied, “Yeah, it is, but it's nothing in this mansion. I guess this is what oil money gets you. “Yeah... who knew how our lives would change, you should have seen the other place, a double wide trailer surrounded by acres of swamp land” Adam smiled and punched his shoulder “Nice abode you got here Jack, maybe in the summer we could go in the pool” Jack blushed The thought of Adam shirtless made himself excited “Yeah I would love that sometime” It was then the tapping of Richard’s shoes came down the hallway and the sound British butler’s voice could be heard as he came up to them “Sirs... may I take your jackets Jack sighed and gave him his Jacket and elbowed his friend in the ribs and he took off his Jack at well giving it to the butler. After he left, Jack turned to Adam, “Umm, that's the butler.” Adam smiled. “I gather,” Jack replied, “Come on, let's go to the kitchen.”
The two teenage boys made their way to the kitchen when they heard two women talking, the first was, of course, his mom, the other was the raspy voice of a smoker. Mary was standing by a blender on the counter, blending one of her many “protein shakes”. She was wearing a headband, a tank top, and some shorts. Jack and Adam entered as Mary finished blending her drink. She turned around to see her son and his friend behind her, a big smile on her face. “Oh, hey Jackie, who’s your friend?” Adam smiled and waved “I’m Adam” She smiled “Hi Adam, I’m glad Jack is having a friend over, feel free to get a snack from the fridge” Adam smiled “It’s okay I’m not eating anything right now anyway” It was then that raspy voice came back this time from across the room at a small table look at papers “He’s a jew Mary, some jews don't eat on Friday and Saturday” Jack sighed “Hey Aunt June” “Aunt” June Hurley was woman the same age as Mary, but you would never know it from her face witch looked much older. Adam paused for an awkward second. “Yeah, some of us don’t.”

Mary smiled, “If you change your mind, come anytime.” Jack wanted to change the subject. “So Mom, what are you doing?” Mary smiled, “I’m getting in shape for our Forbes photoshoot for next month’s cover, my publicist said I could lose a few pounds. Jack sighed. He didn't like that the company used him as a prop, but it was what it was. “Yeah...” The two boys got some Yoo-hoo out of the fridge and headed up the stairs to Jack’s room “Um sorry about that, June is a little... backwards, she’s not really my aunt she’s my mom’s old friend from high school and her VP of accounting” Adam smiled and slapped him on the back “It’s okay” he then looked at Jack’s room “Wow! This place is amazing!” Jack blushed, “Yeah...I basically got everything I could want.” Adam went up to his TV, saw the PS3 with a case on top of it, and looked at it. “Metal Gear Solid 4, Oh, that's a great game, I really liked the end when Solid Snake and Revolver Ocelot fought on top of the Metal Gear, which was great, and then when Big Boss showed up.”
Jack was taken aback “Wow that sounds cool, I haven't beaten it yet ...” Adam replied, “Oh I'm sorry man, didn't mean to spoil it” Jack shrugged “It’s okay, so let me get the BSG DVDs” He went over the his massive collection of DVDs while Adam looked out the large window to the next mansion over the fence “So you met your neighbor yet?” Jack shook his head as he picked up the first of the DVDs “No I haven't seen anyone go in or out of that house since I have been here” Jack looked as he saw an old rusting blue Chevrolet bel air sitting in the driveway “Huh interesting” It was then Jack put the DVD in the player as it started loading up on the TV and he sat back down on the couch and soon Adam Joined him. The two were close, so close that Jack’s heart was fluttering from being so close to his crush. Adam turned to him and said, “So we are gonna try to watch as much of the miniseries as possible today?” Jack nodded as he opened his Yoo-hoo bottle. “Yeah, let's do this.” Adam smiled as he opened his “I've been waiting a while for this.” Jack blushed, “Yeah, me too.”
