Captain Valorion was impressed with the arrival of Hank Ruslan – he always admired the British and their various colonies.

  “So pleased to meet you!” laughed Captain Valorion

  Hank could feel the captain’s firm grip as he led him right in. Ning and Cong could tell that the captain was a little over the top with his handshake, but gave lighter handshakes to them in contrast.

  “Pleasure finally meeting the Zous!” laughed Captain Valorion.

  Ning felt a little off with the captain getting the sense that he treated someone like Hank better than people like her and her husband. Cong could detect that as well.

  “Maybe it’s a good thing that he’s not too friendly with us” whispered Cong.

  Cong had a point to his wife, but Ning didn’t like Hank getting all the admiration. She was already jealous.

  “We’re just waiting for two more guests, why don’t I have you wait around the living room area of the tower, it’s the middle floor” said Captain Valorion.

  Hank had been to the tower before, but never was an honored guest like this. As the trio headed up – Themba was already there reuniting with his creation Brun.

  “Hey, now he’s changed” said Themba.

  Themba was protective of Brun since losing him to his cousin Benny. Brun didn’t trust Ning one bit.

  “She likes to gossip” whispered Brun.

  “Just stay on your best behavior” whispered Themba.

  Themba didn’t want any counter gossip against the guests no matter how rude they seemed. Ning was already jealous of Hank for having a warmer handshake. Hank could see Kade was busy sweeping about.

  “I thought you were going to be on kitchen duty” said Hank to Kade.

  “My powers kept on burning the food” said Kade, “so Tyler took over.”

  Hank could smell something was good cooking in the kitchen. Tyler was doing his best trying to follow the recipes as best as he could.

  “Ah, Master Tyler, or should I say the Turbo Volt how are things with you?” asked Hank.

  “Fine sir” replied Ty, “never been better.”

  Hank could tell there was some hesitation with Tyler over that statement. He knew whenever someone had that hesitation things were always not fine.

  “Come on, something must be bothering you” said Hank.

  Tyler knew Hank and the captain were quite close together and didn’t want to ruin the dinner by saying anything mean about the captain.

  “Well, the captain’s kind of pushy” said Ty.

  Kade made a small laugh over that statement, Kade was also having a hard time with the captain as well. Always being told what to do, and when to get up was quite annoying to Kade. Kade wanted more freedom so that he could use his Forgebreaker powers, but the captain would often make excuses why he should stay with the team.

  “How are Nyra and Whisperblade?” asked Hank.

  “They’re both fine, they’re going to help serve the food” replied Ty.

  As for Captain Valorion, he was waiting for the two guests to arrive and for a cosmic being of order he was getting somewhat impatient over the wait.
